It looks like a grid tie system. Not really something you will want if you are solely off-grid as I see where it is stated it automatically switches over to mains if the solar generated is not enough ie during cloudy times and at night. But it looks like something designed to help reduce cost of electricity/reduce cost of diesel (from DG) in offices that operate during the day that has a generator at work. In my opinion I think you are better off getting a low power system run off batteries that you can use at all time. But it all depends on what you want to achieve with it considering you may be looking at a system that reduces cost of electricity during sunny days/ reduce cost of fuel during the day.

That's one of the ways they are able to save energy.

Not really, at least not the inverter ACs I've seen. They continue drawing some current even when the room is cold.

Can that thing handle the current requirement of an AC? I do not think so, it says there 2amps.

Check well. It says 10A at 250v. Good enough for a 1HP system. If something can handle a heater, I doubt it'll have a 2A maximum current rating.

I am not sure that one in the link will work for you because it will switch off when temperature gets high which makes it more suited for a heater than for an AC that you want to stop when the temperature gets low.
Most AC have the feature for setting the temperature anyway, why an external device?

The blue one. The idea is to save energy. You don't want the AC to be running when temperature is ok and draining juice needed by other devices.

All factors (Panel brand, solar insolation, wire types/gauges) being equal in both scenarios

From experience, are there gonna be any differences in charging input/efficiency from the panels in either scenarios?

The two scenarios appears to be same IMO. Though I'll opt for the latter due to ease of connection.

It's a power source automatic changeover switch. Switches to reserve power if mains power fails and returns automatically to mains when it returns. However, it doesn't have capability to put off the reserve power (generator)

There's a newer version of it that can be placed directly in a distribution box. It's about 6 times 18mm, meaning it takes same ways as 6 single pole MCBs. The newer version has very improved transfer time just like an inverter.

Goods are shipped by sellers, so unless the different shops were owned by one individual, shipping goods will be done by the different individuals running different shops at different times. The only time you can get the shipping the same time is if you use a third party shipping agent who will consolidate the different goods from the different shops and ship it as one to you in Nigeria. But the agent will still have to wait to get the goods separately shipped by the AE sellers.

Why would you want to discharge led acid battery(be it flooded, gel, AGM, mtn etc) to 70% dod?
For the record, the safest Dod for led acid is 20%, except u want to change it every 2.5yrs(for a very good brand ni o).
