Oh, this inverter. It always has the issue of charger failing..There is this high possibility that the charger has failed. You can buy a 12v standalone charger to act as charger.

I ordered the oneplus 7t. My phone screen got damaged and figure might of well get a new device. Interestingly while waiting thinking it would take time, I went and got the pixel 3 xl in Nigeria.. Now it seems the 7t will be entering my hand today.. Might have to sell it cause Pixel 3 is such a joy to use.

If it charges on NEPA, then check the generator's output frequency and voltage. Some inverters won't charge if the frequency is lower than 46Hz.

I am more eager knowing I bought all used modules. With the over ratings on LFP I'm still expecting some years from these set ups. If I can get them I will be the happiest man on earth.

Ojeysky, as the BYD don come early so I might actually be picking up that 24v charger you got. Hope you are still game. I cannot top balance these guys cell wise while I was actually expecting the 38120 cells before these. Courier say na Corona cause them to come anyhow, who am I to argue?

Cheaper? Well, I doubt it'll be cheaper but check third party shippers, these are agents that ship and sometimes procure. You'll have to do your own research to see who you will trust with your money. But most times the cheapest, though not necessarily the fastest, is still the seller. This may not true in most cases as sometimes third party shipper are cheaper for some products.

I finally installed the el cheapo Powmr CC and it only has instantenous watt display, no daily cummulative.

Makeskyblue shows the total harvest on the lifespan of the SCC. Eg today may start with 466kwh, at end of day you have 471kwh. That means you got 5kwh for that day No individual daily logs. Annoyingly, for Version 118 (dunno if they've changed it for later versions) you cannot reset this log. So you are forever stuck with the lifetime log, all you gotta do is subtract from old to get new SCC is just about $100. You can't get all 'em bells and whistles. Lol.

so, am planning ahead about building my house, am considering where best to locate the power room cum study in a duplex.
i am thinking of having an extra room in the duplex dedicated solely to power/inverter battery installations etc. and the space will also serve as my study. since am not sure yet of the type of battery i would be using, but likely 12 to 16 pieces or equivalent of 12v 200ah fla batteries, wi would think such weight would be better suited on the ground floor, and not subject the decking to the stress of carrying such a dead weight, however,..i would prefer my study to be upstairs, hence my dilenma. so hoping the house can throw useful suggestions on what they think is the best location with reasons.

Reasons:

1. Usually cooler compared to upstairs, unless you've got some bad ass roof design and ceiling that takes off the heat that comes from the iron roofing sheet.

2: Sturdier in terms of weight bearing.

3. In the event of fire, no one hopes for that, you'll stand a higher chance fighting fire on downfloor than up.





I'll suggest you create a small space downstairs for the inverter and other things. Then still have your study upstairs.
