xyz123456: Most people who support Sowore are Nigerians in diaspora cos probably they have tasted a good Government wherever they are. Assuming we are normal, even if Sowore fails, we will vote him out and continue searching till we get it right. But unfortunately Naija are abmormal people and will continue to recycle old politicians.
Una go come back crying by 2022 even if Atiku wins and will continue recycling by that time.
I don lose hope. Same here. Been reading comments from diaspora and decided not to waste my energy on the faulty line of thinking displayed by nigerians here. It's a shame we the diasporans know and genuinely want to apply what good governance is, yet Nigerians at home still choose to remain in ignorance. Its even funny how Sowore himself has a family in the US, living the good life, yet he decides to make a change to the millions of Nigerians who can't even have comfortable 3square meals, yet they are quick to discard him. Well Nigerians really have internalized oppression and truly needs help, but the people deserve whatever leaders they get. |

Beremx: Sowore should go and rest.
Atiku we know! What a waste. Someone choses to sacrifice his peaceful life nd family in the US to try to save the country, yet you disregard him for a serial rotten fraud. Even a 5 yr old could use google to know that Atiku lacks integrity. Atiku cannot help you or Nigeria and he really doesn't care about your ass. Well, the people deserve whatever leaders they get. . NB. I m looking for one of the idi0ts shouting atiku or Buhari to ce and ask me for money. The way I will insult you eh! you ll wish you rather never asked |

You can't continue doing the same thing and expect different result. We have more than 2 political parties and also more than 2 candidates contesting. it doesn't have to be "either or" with APC or PDP |
Family › Re: @75,dad Is Selling All His P/perties 2 Satisfy His Sexual Urges Wt Younger Girls by mctowel01: 10:32am On Oct 09, 2018 |
zeefa: I really don't know where to start my story from, because right now nobody cares and i cant just turn my blind eyes to the whole situation . So i decided to bring our family story to this forum. But let me try to give little information so you can all understand my fear and help me with a good advise that could help my dad present situation.he is stubborn and he doesn't listen to peoples advise.. So if you wanna help in your own way, you need too be mindful of those facts.
Dad is a Civil Engineer who mad a lot of money in the 80's. God so much bless him that he had his own Construction Company and things went very well for him. My mom in the other hand was a very strong woman, with that energy of a man. She believed a woman need not to just be a house wife, But a conductor for a driver. Dad being the driver that drives the home affair n mom was there to help ensure things are working properly without issues. Besides, Mom worked with Nigeria Customs back those days which made us get latest outfits and other foreign goods available to us at every point in time. There are six of us, 2 boys and 4 girls. I happen to be the second male child with my brother being the first Child and first son of the house. And others are my lovely sisters with the age difference of two years among us all.
Dad had so many properties in Lagos and also in our home town in Osun state. In fact, we happened to be among the set of people with a nice house situated in Lekki area of Lagos back in the 90's. However, Few days after my moms 45 birthday, She was diagnosed of a cancer of the breast and died three months after. it was a terrible situation for my dad and moreover for all of us. My brother was in 300L Uni lag and i was in UI 100L back then. to cut the story short, Dad moved us from our old house in Ikeja to Lekki Phase 1. As a good dad, he tried on our education and sponsor several trip of me and my siblings for holiday in the UK. Just to make sure we didn't feel mom absence so much. And sincerely, We never lack nothing. because he was getting more contracts and money was coming.
My brother graduated two years later and moved to America for his masters while i moved to the UK. Also one of my sister moved to Canada as well. Things got going good for the family but problem started when Dad met this young fine girl call Chioma. An igbo girl from imo state. Chioma is a beautiful lady with fashion sense. Dad loved her to the extent that whatever she says is final. with so much love by dad, he gifted her a furnished duplex in Ajah for her 30th Birthday. Things were really going on smoothly for them and dad was enjoying the yellow pawpaw with fresh blood breed. I am 15 years older than Chioma, but i must confess that the first time i saw her, i almost crush on her..........(cant do that though). So there was this ceremony that took place in Owerri. Chioma's Cousin got married and Dad was in Imo State with her to grace the occasion. Unfortunately, on their way back, they had a terrible accident that paralyzed one of dad's legs and the right eye as well.
hmmmmm...it was another sad news for all of us after mom's death. Well, fortunately for Chioma, she survived the accident with just a minor injury. But instead of her to wait and take care of Dad after the whole issue of accident and paralysis, she disappeared with N60M meant to complete a road project for a local government.
...To be continued My friend go and make your own money rather than focusing on your dads wealth. What are youths turning into? Funny how at my age, I support my family. I don't even know how many landed properties my dad has and I don't want to know right now as I m on a path to building mine.. His should be a bonus. I am not saying this to ridicule anyone, but having misplaced focus such as these isn't a propelling mindset to personal growth |

tunlex01: No, Polaris bank card. Bellaz at Surulere.
Has anyone written PTE with UKEAS at Opebi before? How was the experience like? I did mine there... It was a bit crowdy, so i struggled a bit in the speaking. If possible, you could start a bit late, so that when other candidates finish their speaking section ehich is the first section, you have a good level of quiet when having yours. Every other thing is pretty standard pte center structure -like the clogged cubicles in the small room. NB. My second test was in bellaz and I arrived a bit late, so that's how I was able to share the above experience |

I havent been to any other foreign country other than australia and I ve been living here for over a year now. Life here is generally good and independent. Very conservative, pretty mild racism-compared to what our brothers go through in Europe. What more? I can assure you that here, it is very easy for someone who grew up in nigeria to live a decent life. here. As usual, basic amenities are there to standards and what I love most about here is the fact that the LAW works. I am rest assured that contractual aggreements are usually honored, espescially when compared to nigeria where you get duped and still get the response " shine your eyes next time". Safety is taken very seriously here. Just recently, I heard in the news where bones were found in a bush (unsure whether its human bones)- a thorough police investivation was conducted- and I thought about my country where even real open deaths get swept under the carpet.
Well, no place like home, but with the level of thinking of nigerians I see on nairaland and other social media, I definitely do not want to go back |

His political career, is nothing, but a jamboree. He should face media and forget politics. He has got no future in the political space. Comments like this personally inspire me to work harder. Spatta: It is sad and unfortunate that a man with Reputation and a track record for fighting the ills of the society have come on the political space and most young people do not know him, The generation that knows Sowore are perhaps amongst your grandfather and because they are not on social media, the youth are spitting a man who left his confort zone in US to withstand the evil that have conquered us. Some of you should go and ask your mothers and fathers who attended University of Lagos. Let them educate you about Sowore. He probably dated some of your mothers who are now not on social media. If Nigeria miss this opportunity again. It might be too late to get a deliverer to save this country from her impending doom and collapse Don't bother yourself. Nigerians haven't suffered enough. It disgusts me whenever I see my uncles discuss politics because they are rlthe ones who put themselves in this mess. The youths are about to make the same mistake which will be unending. Isn't it ridiculous that rather than the youths rally together to support the man with a proven track record of fighting for the rights of his fellow citizen, thwy resort to cheap ways of hiding behind keyboards and analysing his chances, continuing in the status quo. What is more annoying is that if you look well enough, its mainly actually enlightened nigerians who have traveled out and seen better and know how civilized places function that campain for this guy. Meanwhile, the ignorant youths with hopeless futures keep supporting their oppressors. Nigeria my country |
