Madrid are coming out to chase the game and will field a very attacking line up. Madrid have a very fearsome attack and are very capable of scoring. We must not give them any hope of a comeback by conceding.

I just gleaned from our website now that Abidal and Iniesta are back in the squad and included for tomorrow's fixture.

Mehn, I am one happy fellar, however I slightly feel Abidal is a bit rushed but I guess the good doctors know better than I do.

Having an Alves, Puyi, Pique and Abidal again in a line up, omg, the Lord is good. I know its not our pattern but assuming we play 2 DMF's moro??

Firstly Madrid also lost, so nothing changes.
Secondly, it was good, as always, to see the bench guys get a good runout. I was pleased to see Montoya and Fontas, and was particularly pleased with Fontas's performance. Confident and balanced, though a little inexperienced. But he is coming through the ranks. We need to bring on these Barca B boys, and these are the games to do so. The more these guys play, the more they grow in confidence. I'm happy the big boys, apart from stubborn Messi, got a good rest ahead Tuesday. The CL tie isn't over yet.

He's not a CB, that's just what it is. He has had great games in the middle of late, recovers balls well, has a strong tackle and recovery, but doesn't hold up the ball and pass well enough for me. He has no business playing center back, neither him nor Busi. But I think with them both, we are covered in defensive midfield next year.

It always surprises me that Keita struggles in defensive midfield. I think its just because of his age, he's slower and does not seem to have the tactical discipline, though the natural ability is there. Shoot me now. But I think we should sign Cesc. We need his Premier League experience. I would pay for that.

Keita is not a natural DM, he's a central midfielder like Xavi. He's better at attacking than at defending. The DM position is too deep for him.
As per Cesc, I think they're gonna make a move for him because Arsenal are willing to sell. I'm quite ambivalent about the issue myself.
Why I think we should sign Cesc:
- He really wants to play for us and he would wear his heart on his sleeve each time he wears the blue and claret jersey.
- He is really good and experienced, the team could use a little more quality.
- Most importantly, he's a goal scoring midfielder. We hardly have goal scorers outside MVP and bringing Cesc would take some burden off them. He's also good from setplays.

Why we shouldn't sign Cesc:
-We don't really need him. MVP are always gonna score goals. Xavi and Iniesta are always gonna dominate the midfield and set up goals. The squad is near perfect. Only our defence needs reinforcements.
- Who's he gonna displace in the starting line up? We can't spend all that money and he would be on the bench.
-What would happen to Thiago? He'll certainly be an obstacle to our ever improving Thiago's progress.
-The least he would go for is £ 30 million. Certainly a gyp

-We would have to sell Keita.

What befuddles me is that there's a Stipe Pletikosa on the bench who's miles better. That's the same way he confines Kranjcar to the bench when he can come on and be a game changer.

In football, playing against 10 men guarantees you nothing. Last season, I watched a Mou led Inter defeat Milan 2-0 with 9 men.
If UEFA truly were biased towards Barca, there are better ways of helping them out instead of having opposing team players sent off.

Mou is one gaffer that has really benefitted from poor officiating.
In his time with Porto, when they played United in the CL, Scholes had a clean goal that was disallowed. If that goal had stood, Porto would have been knocked out and Mou would have been an unknown element in the coaching world today.
With Inter last year, Milito's offside goal was allowed to stand when the played us in the semis.
In the Copa this season, Madrid would have been knocked out by Sevilla if Fabiano's goal was allowed. The ball clearly crossed the line.
It's really annoying when Mou keeps ranting and ranting about the "scandal of Stamford Bridge"
