Much as I wasn't too pleased with the Israeli's Prime Minister's support for Romney, I could understand where he was coming from. Howbeit, in foreign policies, America and Israel know who their enemies and allies are. Though things may still be frosty between the two, it will never interfere in America doing the right thing at the right time as long as the American interest and indeed the interest of the world at large is protected. |
Obama winning is the best news I've had in days. |
Really mind blowing. |
Typical chauvinistic Nigerian society. If encomiums are also poured on the mother when the child turns out good, wouldn't hurt so much. But the blame lies with the mother for a bad child and the praises go to the father for a good child. Truth is, after a certain age, most children need to be disciplined by their fathers. They tend to fear and respect their daddies more and if fathers could just create a little opportunity to contribute towards discipline, most kids wouldn't turn out so bad. As far as am concerned, both parents should be blamed. |
I Love Samsung die. |
Definitely Obama.... |
So who do we believe? The police that arrested him based on suspicion due to his antecedents or the man who claims he was just coming into town after a long while? BTW aren't people on bail supposed to restrict their movement to their immediate locality until sentence is passed? From what I understand, this man has not even been sentenced for his first crime. Why then was he even released on bail? |
Good for him. I don't think he will really dump acting, I believe he will just be more selective of the roles and story lines. Just that with time he may not be able to combine the two due to conflicting schedules. |
Both. But I lean towards fresh fish and goat meat. |
Thanks Op, e tey wey I laugh like dis. |
I'm not against women breast feeding their babies, its just that most ladies drop their sense of decency when they become mothers. A woman's breast doesn't belong to her baby alone. If a woman is not comfortable dangling her breasts in public when she is yet a mother, why then should she be comfortable doing so just because she is a mother? Its an act I detest. I've never seen a woman in my family do that. And yes, am a woman. Its the bottle when outside or a hidden spot. I say feed your baby, but be decent about it, cover your breast while doing it. You don't want every man to be familiar with the details of your mammaries just because you are breastfeeding. Part of your beauty still lies in them speculating on what you look like under your clothes. Peace, i'm out. |
Why is it always the west that keep showing us the right thing to do? If 40% of our pastors, politicians and entertainers were half as concerned about the plight of the needy, things would be better. Bless you ma. Thank you for showing us that God is love. |
When parents become this heartless towards their own child, you know they have gone truly, irrevocably mad and the society that bred them is also mad. |
Yippee!!!...and that ends the story story......... Make I find beta ting do. |
I don't particularly care about the methods as long as it works for the baby. My sister's twins weaned themselves off breastmilk when they were just a month old. Nothing could make them change their minds. They went for solids. Cerelac and custard. I think the baby should determine how they want to be fed. |
NO Frêäkìñg WAY!!! I can do that for a needy but total stranger. Would'nt be expecting anything in return from the stranger anyway but for a partner? God forbid, you wan make I die from high BP? |
Happy new month to us all. Its gonna be a great November. I can feel it in the air. |
RUBBISH!!!!!!!!! |
Would't call this good news until final research is done and clinical trials are concluded. Truth is cancer detection is a tricky business especially in the early stages. Mammography is still the way to go...Wish they could come out with one pill that will destroy cancer cells rather than all those surgeries and chemotherapy but alas! no,.....that would be good news in my book. |
Problem is that I can't find the story, so I can't comment. @OP, where the heck is your story? You write am for dream? |
Truth is most of us use 'am' for ease in typing on forums or other informal settings. Doesn't mean we don't know. Believe me, we speak/write correctly when it matters. Agreed, some people make mistakes that are really terrible and inexcusable. Thing is to keep learning the language everyday as English is the most dynamic of languages. |
DICKtator: You self are olodo. Didn't you saw where he was write"I am not satisfy"?LOL. Ferry peutifuuul. Terram for me. |
[quote author=nitlad] [/quoteLOL. Fery peurifuuul. Terring her wellu wellu for me o. |
Am beyond impressed. The things mothers would do to save their children. The strength of a woman is always puzzling. I pray the baby lives, grows and become responsible enough to appreciate the sacrifice. |
There's a probability this wedding may never happen. To be engaged for three years before tying the knot when you have enough cash shows both are uncertain and are creating loopholes to scram if necessary. We just might hear about the break up middle of next year...its happened before and it won't be the last time... |
Poor, poor woman. To think that she came back from church to meet such gory end. hmmmmmm.. Haba! Father in heaven, no dey fall our hands like this now so the world won't say you can't protect us when we very well know you can. RIP Ma, may the ones you left behind be well taken care of by God. Amen. |
Yes we know that ''as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he'' but nollywood doesnt think, talkless of being what she claims. She's hallucinating. Someone jolt her back to reality! ! ! |
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, I'll be back in two months to brag. Keep the thread open. ![]() |

I make it a point of duty to read about everything I can lay hands or researched on. Not married yet, but Ive been aware of PPD since secondary school days. Last year, I had to rescue a woman from an ignorant husband and in-laws who thought what she was going through was an act or demonic possession. It took a visit to my sister's doctor to clarify the issue to all family members and commence treatment. Thank God, she is okay now. I believe they don't teach these things during ante natal else most women who register in hospitals would be aware of it. Hopefully we all can help disseminate the info to all and sundry, we can also ask our doctors to incorporate it during ante natal. Also, pregnant women should encourage their hubbies to read up on things bordering on pregnancy. It never kills to learn. @ Poster, thank you for the thread. |
Crap...., Crap....., and more Crap...... Sounded like the clanking of robots..... |
