Gbawe: can't blame you. It is one of those moments one is too mad at the aberration Nigeria has become to the extent of being lost for words !!!! Dismissal ?Bros, I tire o. How can you dismiss someone without a trial? Thought he is supposed to be first found guilty before a competent judge before being dismissed? Abi na me dey wrong? Putting the cart before the horse is what it is! Suspension till investigations are over, the dismissal if found guilty abi? Goes to show how inept the police force is and how much they want to cover their arses over the murder of those innocent souls. I blame them all, they all should be prosecuted! Only good thing is, with all these snippet of information, the picture of what really transpired on that cursed day is beginning to emerge. Justice will prevail this time.... |

staaari: Shocking!!!!Why would the pathologist inflict the wounds? What does he stand to gain? What was/is his beef with the accused? And were you there in court to see every picture submitted as evidence from the crime scene? Unless there is more to this story; something I know not of,if not, the defendant's lawyer's accusation simply smacks of desperation. Accusing a certified pathologist by shifting the blame from the testimony without cogent proof? I really need to read more on this case... hmmmmmmmmmmm |

I prefer court marriage, no church wedding, no fanfare but my fiance no gree. He wants church wedding and picks a 440 when I mention c-o-u-r-t. I don't know what he's afraid of. My wedding is in two months and I so hate the stress involved with the planning. Always wanted a quiet wedding with just a few friends and family involved. Now that's out the window. Hmmmmmph..... |

Ive read everything on the ALUU 4. Ive watched the video and somehow I still cant bring myself to comment. Somehow, words fail me.In my heart rests an unimaginable sorrow for the slain, incomprehensible horror at man's inhumanity and a ball of fire that burns seeking for vengeance. I ask myself;If I feel this way, what about those closest to them? Its too unreal, too horrific, too dastardly, too merciless, too inexplicable and I still cant comment....., words fail me. RIP ALUU4. May vengeance in whatever form speak for you. May your blood cry out till you get justice anyhow, anywhere and very soon. RIP. |

Am more interested in your spiritual well being than you pleasing a mob that cannot even accept outsiders. Moreover your hubby's behaviour smacks of insensitivity cos he should understand what you are facing and should have made ample provision for that by either teaching you the language or introducing the idea of interpreters to the church. Asking you to just echo and chorus amen shows he as a pastor is not even interested in his wife's spiritual needs. I think you should go where you are best fed until your hubby's church wake from their slumber and start welcoming outsiders or until you learn the language enough to join them. Either way, make your husband see reason. Afterall, change starts with one man. You may be the catalyst for their much needed change. 6 Likes |

I respect Jega, and for him to come out with such statement means things are really dire. However, taking into consideration the bureaucratic bottlenecks that abound in the civil service, September till date isn't that far. I guess the money will be released soon especially after this outcry but it may come in bits and pieces or some diminishing returns may take effect.. BTW, the house summoning the finance minister et al won't achieve anything. It will only take Ma Iweala a few minutes to bamboozle them with financial figures and they will be nodding in agreement and begging her to leave. What do they know? Summons my foot... |

It keeps on getting worse. How can the president's speech writers not have confirmed that info before factoring that into the speech? They all deserve to be fired. They have exposed their unclothedness; lazying about while copying and pasting. No wonder the president's speeches mostly sound too alike! And yet again I wonder what is really going on with GEJ. I wouldn't. Joining such protest without knowing the real agenda of the organisers may prove futile. Next you know, they may be invited to Aso rock villa for a close door dialogue session, then a few Ghana-must-go will change hands and the protest will fizzle out. Lack of focus and clear cut goals, greed and self aggrandizement will always remain the bane of collective achievement in this country. |

Methinks the Presidency would simply have told the truth. Whats the big deal about getting sick? Anybody can be sick jeezzzz. Besides,the first Lady's illness will in no way affect the the state of the nation anywhere. Now, if it were to be the President, then it could be kept under wraps to avoid panic. |
