President Buhari's aide, Tolu Ogunlesi and former Presidential candidateOby Ezekwesili, have both reacted to the rape allegation against Pastor Fatoyinbo.

While Tolu Ogunlesi revealed that his 2013 article 'Touch Not My Anointed' was inspired by the rape acts allegedly perpetrated by Pastor Fatoyinbo, Oby Ezekwesili who also reacted called on the Police and Public Prosecution to take the lead to seek justice for victims and signal deterrent.

Tolu who also took a swipe at Lere Olayinka for saying the Pastor Fatoyinbo had consensual sex with Busola Dakolo, stated that the story within COZA will be that the devil attacked the church. He tweeted;

Olu317:
Boss,I am very uncomfortable when you see Yoruba's greatness as being credited to Nok people that didn't match Yoruba's Art at the period Yoruba arrived this part of the world because you and I won't appreciate our ancestors if we all don't realise that these ancient ancestors of ours were the unique people that brought the knowledge of Almighty God in the context of the way the world know him today on Earth. This may seem unbelievable but it is true. (another day's issue )

Anyway, let me digress from your view because Nok may have their reasons for colour red usage but in Yoruba land, colours is as significant as the fluid of life. The reason being that when color are used against color, it creates a mathematical equation from Yoruba perspective. Thus, graphic design uses symmetry, rhythm, emotion, and balance, thus, creating communication. The Yoruba word for this is iwontunwonsi (moderation). For instance, the red signifies raw power, and heat while the white is, coolness and wisdom, which is Sango colour ,thus, it is balanced. This is called moderated – iwontunwonsi – through color.

This concept is expressed In the following Yoruba saying derived from an Odu: Efun ewa osun l'aburo Beautiful lime chalk (white) is camwood's (red) senior (Mason). Obviously, Yoruba didn't pick anything of such from Nok but recognition given to BLOOD.........

Cheers
Dear Prince,
I apologize for late entry on my response.

I do not in any way diminish Yoruba ancestors at all. My submission in that post was very brief and to the point as pertains to this headgear and color itself.

Red is universal color, in fact all colors are universal. In Yoruba alchemy colors are used to treat ailments by restoring balance to temper and mood. Colors are also used to communicate with divinities.

Certain traditions and cultures of old were known significantly by colors and till today that knowledge pesrsists.

Yoruba is a foreign conqueror and civilization. Its abode is Ife, but it met people in Ife. The name Ile-Ife, the term Oba, the conical Crown, the deities, Yoruba language, and many more customs were implants in the land now known as Ife.

Something caused Yoruba to depart Afro-Asia but something even very significant caused Yoruba to aim for settlement in the land it renamed Ife. It was not an accident. Amongst those with whom Yoruba settled were Bariba and Yauri. The two left and Yoruba remained in the land.

The preoccupiers of that land were the Noks. They were significant for some things, primary among which is color red. They were already a civilized people. Their civilization was super imposed by the much more civilized and nobler Yoruba.

In the same way red features as a color of significance for Nok, blue and white featured significantly for Yoruba.

After their settlement Yoruba instituted the nok culture into its expansion strategy. Red became insignia of Ife authority and dynasty. When uncivilized wild roaming natives needed to be organized, a chief of Ife is sent to order the society and rule it. This is how Ogisos appointed from Ife ended up establishing the red culture in Edo.

Politics › Re: The Fear of Fulani Herdsmen and Cows! by MetaPhysical: 1:21pm On Jun 29, 2019
You raised a very good point and i hope this thread will attrack responses from intelligent people, not touts at Onitsha bridgehead with faded biafran tshirt and the yellow half sun is bleached pink.

I dont know about East but I can speak for West, that the places in SW where fulani herdsmen have attacked whether to kill, rape or kidnap are also places they visited and stopped to trade back when herdsmen carried sticks, not ak47. They go to terrains and familiar places. The people at these places are also familiar and can clearly distinguish fulani from non-fulani, even if the werey never opened his mouth.

On the issue of fear. Fulani bleeds like anyone else and its red blood. If you stab a fulani he will beg for mercy like any person. If you kneel him down with barrel of ak47 pointed in his skull he would offer all hes got if you could spare him. If you rape his woman in his face and make him watch it there isnt shiit he can do even when you pull out and skeet the ejaculation on her t1tties, her belly, her face and make her suck it from your dick. He is doomed....and is all because of a freaking loaded ak47. When you take weapons out of the equation, fist to fist....who can fulani terrorize, with his skinny self? Nobody! So ak47 can balance power or imbalance power. Ak47 to ak47, Yoruba vs Fulani, the mofo stands no chance.

This is why OPC has said it is ready for Fulani. The last time OPC did this kind of outing their own Yoruba governors who were supposed to defend them turned the other way and left them at mercy of FG to be picked up jailed and maltreated. They have learnt their lessons and is why they are reluctant to go in, defeat fulani, only to be persecuted by FG without support from their own leadership.

All Yorubas in fear of loss should put pressure on their governors, instead people are focusing on Buhari. Misplaced priority! The regional governors must protect the region, not Buhari.

Look, all the benefits of life is packaged into pastoring. You are supposed to know the Bible and be skilled in social work but the Bible itself has bren democratized and nowadays you really dont have to know the Bible or be involved in social work. All you need is a megaphone, a suit, a haircut, a space and few girls in provocative garments to act as magnets for guys. The guys in turn become magnets for single girls looking for husbands and before you know the entire Lekki attends your Church. Thats it! You are now a pastor and a GO.

The benefits...speak english, know how to shout and inflect your voice to appeal to emotions, in other words...a good salesman!

More benefits....know how to put fear in people, how to lie and say God will do things He has not promised, how to convince young pretty girls that you have the solution to their problems.

More benefits....immense wealth, immense support even if you commit crime, massive amount of pussy to fvk at will, virgins included. Some mothers will even bring their own virgin girls to pastor for 7days salvation....same pastor that damaged their pussy during their own 7days camping.

I repeat, a pastor in modern days does not even need to know Bible. He could be an atheist and a ritualist...but he needs to be a good salesman and rest is history!

IamHeWrites:
The Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland, Gani Adams, has warned governors in the south-west region against providing land for herdsmen to breed cattle, Igbere TV reports.

Adams on Thursday at the South West Security Summit held in Ibadan, Oyo State, called the governors by their names and asked them to be proactive about the issue.

The monarch rebuked the governors for ignoring his letters and calls to take proactive steps on the matter.

“Nobody can take Yoruba land or constitute nuisance in south-west because Yoruba have been living peacefully for the past 120 years, so the incursion of criminally-minded people will no longer be accepted.

“History will not forgive any south-west governor that gives land to herdsmen for the breeding of their cattle because the issue of insecurity is now overwhelming.

“We are not only talking about south-west alone, we are talking about everywhere Yoruba live, including Kogi and Kwara states. All hands must be on deck to curb insecurity because the progress of Yoruba land should be a collective effort of all of us,” Adams said.

These Governors dont understand what Aare is talking about. The set of Governors that will understand this message are dead and gone.

We in SW need a 50yr vision on renewing the Yorubaland contract.

In the time of our ancestors we alternated kings using characteristics. We enthrone a brutal and ambitious king because we expect him to protect the land fiercely against enemies. His brutality will be visited on his subjects from time to time but he is restrained by the fear of deposition so he behaves within limits internally with his subjects but acts with impunity externally facing others. After this king passes he is followed with a kind and amiable king. We do not want to completely isolate enemies and so the enemy we punished in the reign of last king, its time to ally with them under a new reign. Also, the hardship endured in the domain under last king, we need to soften the land with prosperity and plenty under new king. This is what Yoruba of old did.

We moved away from kingship to democracy....now we are ruled by western ideologies and demands our governors to be highly educated. So far we have abandoned our old tradition of nominating kings with predator instincts. Our governors are academic, they were not taught in sxhools how to be a predator, basically they are instructed that an educated person does not engage in fight, must allow others to enjoy the same thing he enjoys (liberalism). Western education instills in them prey instincts....how to sit in one spot and become food to others.

Yoruba must renew our contracts to the land and begin thinking of re-instituting the traditions of old and the acts of enthroning, or electing, governors with predator instincts.

If we get those type of governors they can key in to what Iba Gani Adams is saying here.
Politics › Re: How Fulani Vigilante Will Work In South East - Miyetti Allah Chairman by MetaPhysical(op): 3:12pm On Jun 28, 2019
Fulani herdsmen have craftily separated themselves from the jurisdiction of our civil law.

This interview is loaded!

Chairman believes when there is grievance against a fulani herdsman it should be reported to him. The discretion on what to do rests with him.

In actuality grievance against fulani herdsman should first be reported to law agency - the police. The police will treat the issue in same manner as any civil matter is treated.

If that is not possible, it should be reported to the local head of the community....an Eze, an Igwe and so on. The Eze then has the discretion to invite miyetti allah or not.

Miyetti Allah is trying to do in SE what they have succeeded doing in Jos and Benue. Wrong!

Every voice must oppose it.

This is the painful thing. Yesterday, while the Yoruba leadership held an emergency meeting to end the crisis, ikpeazu was in Egypt watching ball.
Ikpeazu was in the team of five that sat in same room a week or so ago with miyetti and agreed to fulani vigilante. You want him to now go in a delegate to campaign against it? No.

Here is a question... We hear Ibo saying its your turn to be President of Nigeria. Where are those in SE who the rest of us should vote if they contest? Their ability to lead Nigeria is currently under test. SE is a small space compared to size and population of Nigeria.

We've heard Ibos rubbish Buhari in the way he handles security matter. This is your turn and chance to show demonstrate your capability to resolve and de-escalate security threats. Ikpeazu is a small boy, let him continue to watch football. We want to see his uncles and fathers step up and intervene.

To those qho will say what concerns me in Ibo matter....plenty concerns me. SW is already saturated with Ibos. If fulani vigilante go into action you wont run to North or SS or MB....you will run to SW and flood my land. So it concerns me that you are not doing enough to proactively prevent a refugee situation in your land.

Yorubaland is also under threat but a different kind and we wouldnt be running away from our land for a foreigner. The fulani foreigner will cohabit peacefully with us or he will meet his waterloo in our land.

We will continue to REJECT the idea and plan for any FULANIZATION agenda in the South East hidden under the garment of grazing reserve.

What makes you think you can fool an Igbo man with this ??

Any attempt to force this.....

Let us all bear in mind no one has the monopoly of violence. There is a road we have gone through before. We can still go that road again.
I agree with you. However, this thing can be nipped and any war is avoided. Proactive measures should be thrown into it. Ibo Leaders are not doing enough to disrupt this menace.

A vigilante is no more farmer/herder clash. It has gone past there, its now a siege. Like i said this Chairman said a lot in this interview that raises many flags. SE Govs said there will be no fulani vigilante in SE and Chair of Miyetti comes out behind them to detail a process for how fulani vigilante will work. Why are they so adamant about establishing a security corps in SE?

The leaders from SE need to take this thing as a hot and volatile issue. Its raw hostility.

SE Leaders should go on four separate visits. (a) President, (b) Senate, (c) HoR, (d) Supreme Court.

Miyetti Allah is trying to become authority in SE.

This interview piece was done today. The Chairman responses gives clue that they are determined to do vigilance in SE, even as the SE Govs continue to say no to it.

Its telling to see they do not respect or acknowledge authority of the Govs. If they did their Chairman would not say this in continuation of the declaration to establish fulani vigilante, and even as that was countered and dismissed as impossible by the Govs.
