chelseaeternity:I support Wike. By practicing Sharia some states have declared themselves "unapologetically" as muslim states. Why should Wike apologize for declaring Rivers a Christian state? I support him on this issue. |
Antipob777:Na noise. Those fulani maiguard are the vigilante force that keep fulani herdsmen from taking over in Iboland. If they are sacked thats it! Herdsmen will have a free day in Iboland. Too late to do anything, Ibo must live with this fulani vigilante in its heartland. Sorry... |
Juliusmalema:Even if SW were to invite macban they will be putting pressure on them to clear out bad elements or face sanctions. Thats what we expected in SE, instead macban is putting pressure on your governers and dictating that security in SE will be done on fulani terms. Can you now see who the real betrayer in South is? We are trying to flush out fulani attempt to islamize and fulanize but you yanmiris are turning your back and bending over for them. Is this not an act of cowardice? |
Juliusmalema:SW Security does not invite macban. A traditional ruler called security meeting and invited fulani leaders in his domain and "warned them" to fish out bad elements if they dont want palava. |
Fake news report. |
Team Lagos....colorful! ![]() |
Oniwo of Iwo, Osun State, Oba Adewale Akanbi,There is no title in Yoruba land called "Oniwo". |
I want the court to appoint a mediator to intervene and help the parties resolve this issue. Im beginning to have empathy on Chief Chukwuma and think he is being disrespected and harassed unecessarily. No need for this kind of humiliation, he deserve to be respected even if he is wrong. He is a man of value in his culture, society and ethnic group....he represents something to them and that something has a value that should not be dragged in mud. |
Im waiting to see if SW Govs are also demented and stvpeed like those in SE that invited and had security meeting with the union of fulani cow herders. ![]() |
abdulkayus:Yoruba is not an Islamic culture or a christian one. Idont know but If what he says is true then it should be condemned. |
yemolz:Tattoo is part of Yoruba cultural body marks for female beautification but with meanings. Our grandmothers were known to tattoo hidden parts on their bodies, like inner thighs. |
helinues:Do you know who MACBAN is? Union of Fulani Cow Herders. |
I keep asking this question. It is key! In Iboland, MACBAN should be the underdog and begging and promising to do all necessary to make sure herders/farmers trouble is cleared. Instead MACBAN attends security summit meeting and dictated to the Governors that it is going to use the success story of Fulani vigilante in Enugu to build other vigilante capacities throughout Iboland. Has Fulani started using otumopo to speak? Ahhh....orisirisi! |
What happened, cowards in Iboland are tongue-tied? How do you hope to free yourself from Fulani maiguard? Come and talk, after all you are all supposed to be mansion owners. . |
There are two key points here 1- What is Miyetti Allah doing in a Security Summit in Iboland? Was IPOB ever invited to a Security Summit in Iboland? 2- There are two ways out of this palava. I can't comment about it because I have to mention SE but I am banned from talking anything about SE. ![]() |
OP, I couldn't write down my thoughts on this provoking subject earlier but I gave commitment to put something down as input. We spend good amount of time blaming our retrogression on Nigeria but I believe majority of our problem is our own doing. The topic you opened covers many areas and aspects of our culture but in order not to digress from the main issue I will focus myself with the precise issue of Yoruba Screen Entertainment. Who determines who shall be a celebrity, and how is that selection made? What is the authority that determines which produced movie we will see and which we will not? Who determines what scripts to finance and produce and which one to reject? Whoever these authorities are, knowingly or unknowingly, they control the future of Yoruba Cultural exchange across the globe. Here is my next question.... Are these authorities registered with any Oodua Socio-Cultural Commission or Group? |
I must tender tender input on this topic. I have to.... |
lexy2014:True! I was just pulling ropes das all. The OP deserves exposure true true. I will recommend he hooks up with Honorable Peller. He just became a member of HoR. He owns Quilox night club. His network of socialities, at home and abroad, can fill a library. From politicians, traditional rulers, celebrities, business executives, diplomats..... Slimzy, find Hon. Peller and show him what you can do. Trust me, you wont look back. Best of luck! |
ChiefkeefGB4:Since when did riding Benz become index of national poverty? Team Lagos.....like a kite...higher and higher! |
Congrats, and best of luck! |
What is going on in Anambra, ehhn ![]() Is this poverty biting you all too hard in that State or what? What is your problem in that Anambra state? Problem and crimes everyday. Are you the only state in that area? |
dohyn:Very Good question. They dont always fly down a personal car. There are three different modes for moving these VVIPs around. 1. The office will keep a fleet of cars in posession of DSS and used for protective service of the VVIP at his primary base of duty. In the case of Speaker, base is Abuja but his office and jurisdiction cover the entire nation. He can work from anywhere and any place in the country and his security is modified accordingly to suit the local situation. 2. DSS has operation units in every state. Therefore there is what is called forward arrangement when Speaker needs to visit a State. His protective service staff have gone ahead to that State to get vehicles at the DSS local unit serviced and ready for Speaker arrival. His primary vehicle is left behind in Abuja and he travels with his protective details by air, when they arrive the State the vehicle readied by the forward operation team pulls up and safely whisks Speaker off guarded by the convoy. 3. In certain instances they may have to rent armored sedans to put Speaker in. Before the visit the forward team arrives ahead of him and rent a vehicle, they scrub it down and then get it ready for Speaker arrival. When he lands at airport the rented vehicle in its supped state pulls in and whisks VVIP away. |
ChiefkeefGB4:If G8 dont use Benz thats their prerogative. Here in Naija our Speaker has chosen what he wants. His prerogative. Team Lagos ....cruising Benz! |
Slimszy:Dude, you killed it! You killed it mahn!! Wow! Very good job! Let me forewarn you....be ready to do one for Tonto. Just be ready. This artwork will soon hit twitter and she will see it. Na war you don start so o. . So be on standby to appease madam with her own art...and it must be better and collect more likes than Olakunle own or she no go forgive you. ![]() |
ChiefkeefGB4:Because Renault was the Best Practice in Sankara's Burkina Faso. In Gbajabiamila's Nigeria a Mercedes Benz is a Best Practice. Team Lagos is sailing.... |
dumo1:The dots represent everything else inbetween the top list and the ones below it. You are correct NSA is on top! |
Atiku has taken his case to court. He must not believe in the judicial process for him to be talking all these nonsense. If he believes in the judicial process he must await verdict of the courts and if they pronounse him the winner and only if Buhari fails to abdicate power could Atiku start to talk of another June 12. For now he should shut it and respect the courts. |
MrTrend:CIA is a separate operation from SS. US has the most complex security system in the world. From top CIA FBI Secret Service Federal Police Homeland Security ...... ..... ..... Down to Campus Police Metro Transit Police Every University has a Police Dept Every Metro transit system has a Police Every Autonomous City has a Police Then, as if thats not enough....their tax collection agency, IRS, has Police. Their Postal Service, USPS, has Police. This is not to list the Federal Marshals, the State Marshals, the County Sherriffs..... Now come the Federal Prisons, the State Prisons, the County Jails..... I think in any US City, half of the civil service personnel or more are in some security role. Layers over layers of security and uniforms and weapons. Yet the most dangerous place on earth where one can die just for wearing the wrong color shoe or shirt on a certain street, or walking on the East side of a street, instead on the West side on a particular day of week. |
Uyomeyouyo:If that was Chukuemeka in that Benz they would not let internet rest for the next 5days.....with noise of his prowess and greatness and power....and everything else suggesting him as Lion the King! But its Femi....so they have to sour the mood. We have people on the ready to poison their brain and sour their propaganda. Team Lagos on the GO! |
ChiefkeefGB4:Thats their prerogative in those lands. They dont have terrorists. USA and Nigeria have terrorists and looneys on the prowl looking for high targets to kidnap for political statement. Their Best Practice in Netherlands and also those bike riders does not apply here for this situation and this day. It may apply other times in futire if for instance Buhari decided to ride bicycle through Abuja....or Gbaja decided he wants to walk through Isale Eko to go see Akiolu. But as long my Speaker is in a Benz E Class and cruising....US serves as Best Practice! Team Lagos on the roll...! |
buchilino:SHUT UP! SW GOVTS ARE THE BEST ANYWHERE IN NIGERIA AND IS BECAUSE THEY UNDERSTAND VERY WELL THE ASPECTS OF GOVERNING. AS MUCH BEEF THERE IS BETWEEN FAYOSE AND FAYEMI AND GIVEN THEY ARE IN DIFFERENT PARTIES DO YOU SEE FAYEMI PROBING FAYOSE? OR DID FAYOSE PROBE FAYEMI IN 2014 WHEN HE CAME IN? DONT WORRY ELDERS OF IBADAN WILL CALL MAKINDE AND INSTRUCT HIM SOON. WE WANT PROGRESS, NOT PROBES IN YORUBALAND. PROBES CREATE ENEMIES AND DIVISION AND DISTRACT FROM THE GOAL. YORUBALAND FOR PROGRESS! |
