deomelo: Nigeria is not just about you and your illogical opinion which you are of course entitled to, other Nigerians and PMB/APC supporters saw the opposite of your anti Nigerian sentiments, they believed in Nigeria, their leadership and their country.
Saying igbo people voted based on love of country sound more like an assault on our collective intelligence because before the elections, Nigeria was a zoo, a shithole governed by a tyrant, a terrorists, a dead man an impostor from Sudan and abusing and insulting other Nigerians? .Is this how you define love of country? I think it's hate of country you meant.
So, what happened? Nigeria is no longer a shithole governed by a failed tyrant, a dead man, a terrorist and an impostor from Sudan?
Nigerians with love of country saw progress and development hence asking the president to keep governing the affairs of the country, that's relevance and love of country.
You bet against Nigeria and her leadership and you lost.
In America where we copied democracy from, election losers don't demand positions from the winning party, they don't sit around and cry, moan, blackmail or spew propaganda, they move on and wait their turn.
Deomelo stop talking down on my people like that. Which people love Nigeria more than Ibo. My people are found in every village in Nigeria. If they packup and return home Nigeria will fold up. Ibo deserve to rule Nigeria because they are everywhere. . Even in South Africa Ibo is recognized as the mover and shaker of society. Why you hate my people now? |

Politics › Re: Kwara Must Change Calls For Unity In APC, Warn Against Exclusionism by MetaPhysical: 2:20pm On Jun 17, 2019 |
bilms: *Kwara Must Change calls for Unity in APC, warn against exclusionism*
Leading Pro-Democracy group in Kwara State, Kwara Must Change has called on the leadership of All Progressive Congress (APC) in Kwara State to thread softly on its exclusionist rhetoric’s being constantly echoed and re-echoed in stake holder meetings and even in public domain.
The group also urges the party leadership and the various caucuses to desist from tearing the party apart under whatever guise, be it legacy, foundation, Arcasanta, original or other caucuses being formed for the purpose of advancing personal interests.
In a special release by Kwara Must Change convener, Abdulrazaq Hamzat during the weekend, the group said it has been watching with keen interest, how some stakeholders in the party has been attempting to coerce the Kwara State governor, Alhaji Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq into toe the narrow path of segregation in making appointments.
According to Hamzat, these stakeholders have been working tirelessly to arrogate to themselves, the credit of Kwara liberation struggle against the clearly communicated position of the executive Governor of Kwara State, Alhaji Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq who has severally stated that all freedom loving people of kwara state owned the victory and deserve to be so recognized.
The Kwara Must Change convener cautioned that, the exclusionist rhetoric’s of some party leadership will not do the party any good and it urged them to have a unity based world view and be accommodating of all those who made Kwara freedom possible.
According to Hamzat, all freedom loving Kwarans who voted, canvassed people, supported with materials or contributed in one way or the other are qualified to be recognized and deserved to be so rewarded with good governance, because without their contribution, Hamzat said, the party will not be in government today.
"And if these people are deemed to be worthy of contributing to the process of achieving good governance in the state, they should be given opportunity to do so, without any form of harassment.
He therefore advised the party to see anyone appointed as their own and ensure they perform to public expectations.
Hamzat further stated that, long before the period of elections, particularly when the party is virtually on sabbatical, courageous Kwarans who are bent on chasing the outgone dynasty away were actively leading the struggle in their personal or group capacity.
“Some example of such include Abiodun Baba, who was illegally arrested, detained and charged to court for criticizing the then ruling government. Another is Ahmed Buhari of Cabal Must Go, who was kidnapped at the state high court, molested and dehumanized.”
Hamzat also maintained that, at a time when it was unimaginable to do so, Kwara Must Change also spearheaded the attempted recall of the former senate president, an action that put the lives of many in danger and their personal security not guaranteed, adding that these actions were being undertaken without the financial backing of any party or godfather.
He also added that, “Similar effort by another group, Kwara South Unity Forum, who not only attempted to recall Kwara South senator, Senator Rafiu Ibrahim, but they actually collected some signatures before the attempted recall was butchered’’.
Recalling some of the advocacies that opened the eyes of many in the state, Hamzat explained that, advocacy about the death of a civil servant, Biodun Bashir also known as legal in Oyun Local Government who committed suicide due to lack of salary by the then Kwara State government made a great impact in the mind of the people.
He also recalled the advocacy about the people of Baruten Local Government who were already claiming Benin Republic due to lack of basic services in the area, not forgetting the advocacy about revelation of government schools across the state with only 1 teacher managing a whole school, teaching all classes and all subjects.
Hamzat also added that, the courageous youths of Lafiagi, who confronted Senator Shaaba Lafiagi in 2017 didn’t contribute any less to the success of Kwara freedom, adding that the victims who lost their lives in that struggle are still yet to get justice.
Additionally, Hamzat recall the formation and subsequent activities of Kwara Rescue Alliance, an amalgamation of over 70 youth groups from the 16 local government areas of Kwara State, which sole agenda is to see to the dethronement of the former ruling government.
‘’These determined individuals and groups formed the largest independent movement that made kwara liberation possible and the earlier the party come to term with this fact, the better for all’.’he said.
Kwara Must Change is of the view that, although, caucuses, groups and interests are the inherent Ingredients in politics and governance, they must neither be allowed to dictate the pace of governmental activities nor determine who gets what and how. It is better to allow the best hand to get the best job. It is better to put a square peg in a square hole, he said.
Kwara Must Change therefore urges the party and all stakeholders to spread their arms wide open and see all and sundry as theirs, rather than promote exclusionism and segregation.
He also encouraged the party to support the governor to appoint whoever he deemed fit, from all parts of Kwara, popular or unpopular, known or unknown, politically active or independently contributing to ensure that the government deliver dividend of democracy to the people of Kwara.
END Kwara Must Change is the network that kicked out Saraki and his hold on Kwara. Ordinarily the new Government and APC owns its own success to them and it will not be out of place for these guys to self-promote their own agenda, but look at the message of love and community instead. Everything in this message is about unity, love, progress and appreciation....not a single word of threat, none! When Saraki was the lord in Kwara we did not know Kwara had very beautiful and progressive minds like Hamzat. I have followed the new Government, I love the Governor and what he is doing. In fact out of fascination I have adopted Kwara as my State. Anything that concerns Kwarans now concern me. God bless Mr Abdulrazak Hamzat for such a message of love and brotherhood. Thumbs Up to Kwara, I love you all! |

loabb2: HAFSAT ABIOLA REPLIES PDP AND NIGERIAN LOOTERS:
I will only respond because my Sister Mo Demie asked for my view...
Please nobody should abuse my late father here o, I didn't come to your page to comment: All this sudden noise and write up to show that "Buhari was playing politics"......
When did it become a crime for politicians to play politics? Were they not voted in to play politics? Will it be wrong to develop our roads, infrastructure, free education, return oil blocks to the State instead of individuals? What is this noise all about? Jonathan was voted for by the South West in 2011, the same SW voted for Buhari in 2015, what is all this noise all about the SW going for Buhari? Obasanjo, the direct beneficiary of #June12 is from the same State with MKO, why didn't he play politics and declare June 12?
Jonathan had opportunity for 5 years to do same, he rather gave Abacha from the North posthumous honor, pardoned Ex-convict from the West, Alams from the South... What do you call that? Is that politics or chemistry? 16 years opportunity to acknowledge #June12 they refused to use the #PoliticalUndertone...
So are you expecting Buhari to use Biological or Chemical undertone to take such decision?
Why are you guys fixated about those supporting Buhari, is it not a choice and must you dictate to others? You brought up religious sentiments prio to 2015 election, yet blamed Buhari fr being the religious bigot....
Jonathan was running from one Church to another, Sambo openly told them in the North that they must not vote for Buhari because Osinbajo is a Pastor of a big Church....Who is a religious bigot here?
I mean, who was running from one religious organisation to another in 2015 because of politics? Pastor Bosun came up with that sudden apostasy, wrapped up Jonathan PDP politics in the name of "wake up call" message.
I'm happy that I'm still here. I asked him when most of you were analyzing that heretic message that "Jonathan is fulfilling prophecy".....
I asked a simple question: "Which prophecy is Jonathan"? Pastor Bosun went ahead to say "even if the Islamic party (APC) presents a Christian Governor in Lagos, you must not vote for him, you must vote for the other party(PDP)...... Wait, who was using religion?
Obasanjo removed Senate Presidents at will, removed any opposing voice, removed Fayose for a small insult, removed Ladoja with thugs in Ibadan....Who are you calling "DICTATOR"? Muhammadu Buhari.........
Obasanjo withheld Lagos State fund for 3 years, not minding how Lagosians would eat, Yaradua got there and released the fund...
NASS members were abusing Buhari openly, messing up everything at will, Fayose has been abusing Buhari for 4 years now.....
Not a single State in Nigeria has been denied their constitutional rights because of politics till date, all their funds, Paris fund, bail out, FAAC etc... But who is the DICTATOR? BUHARI.
Jonathan ensured that NASS opposition members were locked out including Tambuwa the Speaker of the house. They had to climb gate to gain access.....
Jonathan empowered OPCs in Lagos and they were destroying anything in Ikorodu to Ojota that looked like opposition party. Orga of DSS was used to invade APC secretariat, Journalist arrested and Newspapers siezed, we forgot all these....
Ekiti was militarised, Fayose was given power from Aso rock to order Military guys at will. Fayemi the incumbent at that moment was rendered powerless that he was shouting when Police commissioner was used by PDP and a guy was shot...All these videos and pictures are still here (google is your friend)...
But who is the dictator? BUHARI. Jonatahn met FX+ECA at $62 billion+. He DEPLETED it to less than $30 Billion in 5 years Jonathan sold crude oil for 5 years at an average of $100 per barrel of 2.2 million daily (2010-2014). Did he add a DIME to Nigeria purse in 5 years? NO.
Buhari the ILLITERATE sold oil at an average of $50 of less than 700,000 barrel at some points because of militancy, yet had moved that FX to $47 Billion in 3 years. Don't say how much did he borrow if you don't even have the figure borrowed between 2010-2015 without adding a dime to FX. Who is the ILLITERATE? BUHARIIII.
Jide Omokore, Aluko and oil goddess Alinson made an oil deal of N1 trillion and chose not to remit to Nigeria under GEJ. Did anyone raise eyebrow? INTEL of Atiku refused to remit to NPA, not until last year that "ordinary" Hadiza the NPA boss challenged INTEL and insisted the funds must be remitted.
A Christian Professor had been leading JAMB all through Obasanjo to Jonathan yet for 40 years of JAMB, only N52 Million was remitted to FG....A Muslim Professor who was appointed just in two years of handling JAMB remitted over N15 Billion......FIFTEEN BILLION ooO....
So who is following after righteousness? For five years of Okonjo Iweala was paying over 45,000 ghost workers unabated, yet just within 3 years, "ordinary" Kemi Adeosun removed such nonsense...I ask again who is more effective? Ordinary Abuja metro lane took 11 years from OBJ period that he INITIATED. . .
Stop dividing us over religion, who is fooling who? Let's wake up.! Good night.

No, Atiku will not be arrested. Not while his case is in court.
If he is arrested he will claim his mandate was stolen and then he was arrested ahead of court ruling. No, no arrest. He will go to court, court will discover that PDP and Atiku had planted copies of result in his possession on the planned INEC Servers. Intelligence discovered their plot and is why the election was shifted a week to a new date ….and a new decision reached to transmit hand to hand instead of using electronic transmission to the corrupted servers. Atiku is in big problem! INEC has incriminating info to nail him. This man will end up in jail...but it will be ruling handed down by court for his criminality and record falsification. If he knows what's good for him he will withdraw his case before INEC open can of worms on hard evidence in their possession about PDP and Atiku s plot with the servers. |

Mazi Nnamdi Kanu gracefully honors the United Nations invitation during the upcoming convention. Classified information obtained from a diplomatic stalwart, proves that there exists recipes for diplomatic explorations which the IPOB leadership must have to harness, prior to the visit of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu to the United Nations. One of such recipes include the inauguration of a government by the secessionist movement even if it turns out to be a government in exile. Everyone continues to play on Ibo's naive and simple mind to dupe them about Biafra. When UN invites a body to their assembly they splash the news all over their website so the whole world can know. This has always been their tradition. Why is Biafra own classified? Can this OP bring us an independently credible news source concerning Bifra and UN invitation. |

Politics › Re: A Burning National Question by MetaPhysical: 12:59am On Jun 15, 2019 |
Jinad50: In my time spent on social media, I have witness great controversies that ensued in the media space over the Nigeria/Biafra war. There have been rivalry from different quarters of the country in a bid to hang the blame on one tribe. Some political pundit believes the controversies is as a result of people being ill informed and they also suggested that if educated caution is not taken, what happened in Nigeria during the period of 1967 to 1970 is highly likely go to happen again. Some have advocated for the need of the Nigeria/Biafra war to be taught in schools. The bigger ask here is, whose account of the story about the war should be taught? is it that of the Biafrans or that of Nigerians?. I ask this questions because I have read the accounts of prominent Igbo figures, who were core witnesses of the war; in person of Chinue Achebe, Alexander Madiebo and other notable personalities of Igbo extraction. I have also had the fortune to hear some of the accounts of some Nigerian sympathizers and unfortunately the accounts from both quarters are in conflict with each other. The various account from both quarters, in my opinion are coloured with tribal sentiment or what sociologist call ethnocentrism. Some of the accounts from the international community are also coloured with political sentiment. UK for example, supported Nigeria during the war because of their interest in Nigeria and the West Africa sub region. France on the other hand, believed Biafrans had a justifiable reason to fight, even though they did not openly declare their support for Biafra for political reasons. Surprisingly, the United State were neutral during the war. Its safe to say they were passive with the truth and chose to stay on the fence, in order not "offend" any of the Waring party. This I can say, is also for political reasons. Since it seem impossible, or better still, difficult to get the truth of what transpired before, during and after the war from either Nigeria, Biafra or the international community, where do we seek the truth from?. This has become a burden to many a person because if we must teach the younger generation about the Nigeria/Biafra war, then we must teach nothing but the truth, in order for them to make informed decisions and avoid a reoccurrence of the bitter war. This is especially important, because the younger generation has started hating each other (tribal wise) and pointing accusing fingers at each other because of their half bake or half understood knowledge of the civil war. The burning question still remains, if we must teach the younger generation, where can the truth about the war be gotten from?. I will leave my readers to ponder over it. Whoever won the war own rights to the story. |

A notorious child stealing and trafficking syndicate with connections all over Nigeria, has been busted in Imo State. . . The gang specializes in stealing underaged children from schools, churches and other public places. . . It was busted after a member of the gang, Immaculata Edward, visited her boyfriend, Ifara Isong, in Eziama Logara, Imo State and absconded with five children that were left in her custody. . . The State Police Public Relations Officer, Orlando Ikeokwu, revealed that, “Immaculata targeted when her boyfriend went out to buy something and then she stole five children namely Somto Ekeh ‘f’ 6yrs, Kelechi Ekeh ‘m’ 5yrs, Chisom Ekeh ‘f’ 3yrs, Ebuka Enwerem ‘m’ 3yrs, Chioma Enwerem ‘f’ 5yrs And Lucky Idah ‘m’ 6yrs, all children of one Reginald Ekeh ‘m.’ . . She took them to a notorious child trafficker, Perpetual Iwuji, who then sold two of them to one Grace Nwachukwu, residing in Mpape, Abuja. . . Immaculata also stole two of her uncle’s children from Cross River state and sold them to one Ifeoma Ndubuisi ‘f’ in Abia State. . . However, following intelligence, systematic, thorough and painstaking investigation, all the children stolen from Logara were recovered. . . Moreover, in the course of the investigation, additional five children were recovered from Perpetual Iwuji and kept in an orphanage home. The five children stolen from Logara have been reunited with their families. . . Meanwhile, one of the two children stolen from Cross River state, has been recovered from Ifeoma Ndubuisi and efforts are on top gear to recover the remaining one.” . . The suspects include; Perpetual Iwuji (46), Isong Ifara, (46), Immaculata Edward (31), Grace Nwachukwu (58), Ifeoma Ndubuisi (27) and Stephen Ezenwa (31).
