Other Nigerians out of a 200 million population don't count? honestly Tinubu has buried his presidential chances with those dangerous words alone, the Fulani people he has been tapdancing to have also taken note of this statement....basically what's the difference between Buhari and Tinubu? one is an unrepentant Fulani supremacist while the other is a very dangerous Yoruba supremacist, and trust me Tinubu will be MORE dangerous than Buhari if he ever gets into Aso rock.

Before Buhari said this, i was even saying that he's the only president in the entire world that would not have a choice of candidate that would succeed him. However, he has proven me wrong. He'll be weak if he's afraid of Tinubu. If OBJ & others were scared, no one would succeed them. Yoruba has enjoyed President for 8years and VP for another 8years that's a total of 16years in power... Let them go and sleep! They're not the only south in the country. I will support Buhari on any decision that he will make. Right now we know that APC candidate will be coming from the south but not the Yoruba south. South west and Atiku should drop their desperation for power and allow our other brothers to go there. If Yoruba must produce the next president then i'll only vote for Osinbajo and not Tinubu. If Tinubu becomes the flag bearer, then i'll vote Atiku instead.

Now compare that with how many votes CPC had been garnering from 2003 up until 2015.

In there lies your answer as to which party formed the major bedrock of APC voting power over the last 7 years.

It is a known law of power to know when to stop even when one is winning. Tinubu has overplayed his hand and will be thoroughly disgraced.

Interestingly, the irony in the Pres. Buhari's reciprocity clause is the following:
The BIG MAN who for years has been determining the political career of other people will have the most crucial point in his political career determined by another person.

I don't know if this is karma or fate.

I am sure most of his former acolytes like Banire, Afikoyomi, Sarah Sosan, Mamora, GUS Solomon, Ambode, Aregbesola, etc who lost out through his political decisions will be beaming with smiles.

I hope this ambition won't destroy Tinubu like it did to MKO Abiola because Jagaban doesn't look like someone who is ready for any reciprocity bullsh*t.

From booting Oshiomole out of APC chairmanship to handing Buni the leadership of the party to using consensus to elect the new leadership of the party till this moment that the party convention is in a few days, any sincere political watcher would agree that the activities of the party seem to have always gone against the interest of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the self acclaimed National Leader of the party.

And you would want to ask why?

And the answer is simple…

Both Buhari, his cabal and some northern and southern elements within the party, do not want to see Tinubu succeed Buhari; and he never will.

If Buhari was sympathetic to Tinubu’s interest and ambition, he would have found a way to ensure Oshiomole retained his sit. Or, if they wanted to dodge legal implications involved in Oshiomole retaining his sit, then a Tinubu man would have been appointed the party’s caretaker chairman and when eventually the congress happened, another of Tinubu’s man would have been duly elected as chairman.

The implication is that by now, what APC members will be going to convention to do would be to crown Tinubu and bestow legality to his candidacy after which they would start shopping for the best running mate for him if it’s not already decided.

If you are a Tinubu supporter, ask yourself, why all these schemings and dilly dallying trying to frustrate Tinubu and his men if Tinubu was Buhari’s choice?

Why is Buhari soliciting the support of the governors to choose his successor if he wanted Tinubu? Knowing fully well that if the party primaries is allowed to hold, no aspirant will defeat Tinubu. Why not allow the primaries to hold and let Tinubu have his way?

All these are simple arithmetics and logic that are very much open for anyone with functional brains to grasp but I think most Tinubu supporters are innocent of that; and that’s why they keep hoping against hope.

Penguin is a bird of reason just serving the preamble of the vawulence that would follow Tinubu’s monumental breakfast when Buhari would name his man.

The 2019 election showed that Nigerians are not interested in any Mr integrity, they just want who can do the job. Insecurity and hunger are the issues. Nigerians voted Atiku massively but for rigging in the north he would've been president.

People are now saying bring back the corrupt Jonathan provided we can feed well. Buhari's regime is even more corrupt than Jonathan's.

Add someone who'll be acceptable by international community. Osinbajo fits in to that description. The international community are conscious of Nigeria fragile religious divide and would insist on a Christian from the South to balance governance

The way and manner Buhari goes about his choice candidate may make or mar the Apc. He must be very careful not to destroy the fragile Apc. The cracks have started emanating already from the NWC.

The president should know that Nigerians have scored him F9 in governance and they have a formidable opponent in Atiku. Buhari has technically killed the APC with his woeful performance in office. He should thread carefully.
