What kind of stewpidity is this? I need nwafors and odiegwus to come and explain what happened at PDP primary last week in Abuja. This is unacceptable at all. Ibo betrayed South in PDP Primary.
|
cheruv:Ok. Thats fine. Normally he would go and pay respect but something must have happened that he did not make it. Im sure when he wins he will tour all over Iboland. As far im concerned to hell with Nigeria. Let everybody go their separate ways. |
So let me get it straight here....the father probably caught his son in some yahoo stuffs. He went too far trying to kill him but state authority were also negligent in their response. Security service should compensate that family. |
Donaluta:Get lost abeg! Una go dey inside autonomous village and dey probe internet up and down creating trouble anyhow. |
donb06:So are you saying Tinubu did not visit Onitsha? Ok, end of story. He was not the only one. Atiku did not, no Ibo candidate did. So why only Tinubu? Please where is moderator to come and shut this thread down. This is rubbish. |
Oyigboupdate is a member of ugm. Confirmed. How come you are always first to get their news and exclusive photos? |
asobo1:Shut up and get lost! Ive clarified that too many times. If you didnt get it from the post look for my clarification you will get it. |
cenaman:Im not assuming. Look, there are many things Tinubu is bad at but when it comes to traditional rulers Tinubu will give honor where it is due. Where are people that follow Tinubu around, they should come in here and tell us if the man visited or not. I dont follow him...but i know his ways. If he didnt stop in Onitsha before heading to Calabar im sure he did on way back. |
jrusky:No mind dem. I knew immediately i saw the thread that Ibo is up to something. They can never let things rest jeje. |

I dont know how to reach Onitsha from Calabar but I bet Tinubu in his private jet know, and im sure he stopped over there. Tinubu has baggage but he does not disrespect elders or traditional rulers. |
iamdapsyj:Thank you jare. |
Ibo people don start their palava o. Yanminri don start trouble o. Wetin concern una? Ogbonaya Onu visit Iboland? Nnamani visit Iboland? Umahi wey be governor don abandon gofment go siddon put for Abuja. Stop your nonsense! |
skentelelady:I said he went to Calabar and would have stopped over in Onitsha and get Obi of Onitsha blessing. He went to SS, on the way back stopped in SE. Is it clear now? |
DrGeoAngel:Get lost! Im sure the man visited. You can hate but be fair to him. The Tinubu I know would not go to Calabar and not stop over in Onitsha to greet Obi. You Ibos too like trouble. The man cannot visit everywhere in SE but he would definitely have visited Onitsha. His wife is from Itshekiri and he has not even visited Olu of Warri. So just be content he visited Onitsha even if he didnt make it to your autonomous village. Maybe next time he will come to Isuoma and Ihiala. Give him break. |
Queenttoast01:Hang Tontoh up on the tree with a gun to eliminate slackers. |
cenaman:Yes Tinubu visited. He went to see Obong of Calabar, I didnt follow his itinerary but I believed he would have stopped and see Obi of Onitsha snd get blessing and endorsement. Thats common sense. Why are you asking? Dont start trouble please, there is enough already on the ground. |
If either Osinbajo, Fayemi or Tinubu wins, Atiku will definitely go for a VP from SE or SS. He still has a lot of PDP implants in APC and will recruit Saraki to use these implants for a dirty job against APC. He will go for Matawalle, Tambuwal and Bagudu to rally NW to him. If Amaechi wins, Atiku will go to SW for VP. He will canvass to dethrone APC from Lagos and sweep Oyo and Osun, as well Kwara and Ekiti into his camp. If Ogbonnaya Onu wins, Atiku will go for VP in SS to erect a wall between SS and SE. He will not need much effort to win. Has anyone heard from Malami lately? He was to go for Gubernatorial in Kebbi but withdrew to remain Minister. Buhari has something else for him to do, bigger and better than governorship in Kebbi. |
hisexcellency34:What was he doing before being called to elective office? He had a successful legal practice. He will go back to that. Many people do not have something to fall back on so they keep going from one public office to another. |
See yahaya bello sef dey issue threat. See cockroach dey flex. ![]() |
Oplomo:Like Onu, Nnamani is an aspirant in APC. When he decided to step down why did he not do so to back Onu so SE can become President, instead of VP? Do you not believe in yourself to preside Nigeria? |
OBALOLA55:Join me cry my brother |
Why did he not step down for Onu? Why step down for North? We no want hear say Yoruba betrayed Ibo. Na Iboman betray Ibo.
|
WesternOligarch:In a free and fair election, yes. But this thing has not been fair so far and it will not be free today or tomorrow. |
angelfallz:Please wake the thread up after primaries. This primary is a soap opera and im enjoying its series. |
I advocate Yoruba Nation but it has been fun watching and commenting on shenanigans in Nigeria. What's going on in APC is how true contest should be. Very competitive, very unpredictable. This is the kind of fight Igbos should have given PDP, not that easy walkover by Atiku. But I understand that some people in South sabotaged and gave easy victory to Atiku. This APC primary would likely end in court, regardless of who wins. |
.Urging Nigerians to disregard the report, Onu stressed that neither the Governors Forum nor Northern Governors had any moral or constitutional jurisdiction to determine the political fate of the South.Very true. It is a misstep to thank Northern governors for telling Buhari to rotate power to South. It is beyond their call. Moreover, when Oyegun screened aspirants he asked their opinion on consensus. Buhari also told the governors before departing to Spain to support the party in choosing a candidate. The issue of consensus is strictly a party affair and a negotiation exclusively between aspirants and party. If the party announces a candidate, the aspirants have the right to object or accept that candidate, no other input will matter on the issue. It is ok that governors are acting as advocates in conflict resolution but only aspirants can express agreement or disagreement on consensus. Northern governors are not doing anything unique by going to talk with Buhari....if the Southern govs have some sense that's their call, they should have been the ones rushing to Villa and confronting Buhari and Adamu. |
DeleTaller:The court already agreed with INEC that parties must adopt a "democratic" process in electing candidates into office. The keyword here is DEMOCRATIC. The Party owns the primary process, INEC has no business in primary but they act as consultant, and Courts are arbitrators. APC for instance has adopted three electoral process for nominating flag bearer. 1. Direct primary 2. Indirect primary 3. Consensus In the case where 23 candidates were asked if they will cede their rights to the party if a single candidate emerged, and 22 of them said YES but 1 said NO, and it ended up in court, the DEMOCRATIC majority will rule. |
helinues:What is it about video that will counter the truth that Saraki stopped Tinubu's muslim/muslim agreement? The video is fresh, just few days old. The truth has been in public domain for years, and is irrefutable because independent witnesses corroborated its authenticity. Atiku spoke about it in 2018 when Tinubu supported Otoge movement against Saraki in Kwara. Amaechi spoke about it. Even in an interview, VP Osinbajo spoke that the obstacle led to finding a christian to pair with Buhari. Saraki is who VP should be thankful to for raising the objection, and he owes appreciation to Tinubu for nominating him for the position. |
Arrewa:Arewa, stop lying. Mundane reality in North is intolerance for diversity. Yes, there are different tribes and practices but your muslim majority shut them down and they are forced to adopt, even if in pretense, a public image that does not conflict with Islam. This is why many of your christians adopt Islamic names. To outsider, it becomes difficult to distinguish their religion. Names like Ibrahim, Yusuf, Suleiman, Adamu, Hauwa, Maryam, and so on. Even so, you have no remorse in massacring them when you feel offended by their ways. NW is worse than NE in maltreatment and persecution of christians. In NE, christians attain high public office and hold political positions. The only time such has ever happened in NW was Kaduna, and you muslims ended up humiliating him out of office before finally plotting his murder. Your response is completely a distraction and missed the point on what Seun is alluding to. I don't have time currently to tackle you deeper on this, monitoring APC primary at moment. If this thread is still active after primary I wont mind breaking down your geopolitical region historically, culturally and politically and correct the myths and misunderstanding about North. |
helinues:He said Saraki blocked him from VP in 2015 because it would have resulted in muslim/muslim. Tinubu's loss of VP was involuntary, different from the position of him voluntarily stepping down as you painted. |
helinues:Tinubu was not against muslim/muslim ticket in 2015. Infact, he did not see anything wrong in muslim/muslim ticket. Saraki stopped him in 2015 from joining Buhari in a muslim/muslim pairing. |
........and you make a lotta sense here truly. We will know the final outcome before the end of today.
Left to free, fair participation, Tinubu will carry the day but there is fate playing out here. Tinubu has never struggled in a close competition for a public office, and while he had the command of power he did not play in fairness with those seeking election into office. Late Pa Adesanya hand picked Tinubu at last minute to become Lagos Governor. He was not the front runner. This primary is his first personal experience in political competition. After becoming governor he consolidated power under his office, and when he left office he did not leave the power behind for successor, he took it with him. That's why subsequent governors behind him are unable to act without his approval. Ambode defied him, and we saw what he did to Ambode. So Tinubu need to taste what it means to contest and be humiliated publicly. If he loses here he will understand the true dynamics of godfatherism and learn to treat contestants in Lagos with dignity. |

because only one person will emerge as the flagbearer.
