Is that not APC Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu behind Tinubu?

I noticed Adamu joined hands on the mast but Tinubu elbowed him out, twice.

Tinubu should not celebrate his victory in vengeful acts. He should not push away people he will later need to survive this battle across regions far beyond Lagos and Yorubaland.

We are in celebration mood. Below is the Yoruba people comment on BBC Yoruba page after Asiwaju Jagaban was declared winner of the APC primaries.

This is to show all the people doubting Asiwaju ability to get bloc vote in the SW in the general election. Asiwaju is loved among the Yoruba people and those few yorubas you see online who are trying to be politically correct should not be used as yardstick to guage the Yoruba people pulse.

God bless Asiwaju Tinubu
God bless Nigeria

CC: Mynd44 Lalasticala come and see celebration.

Stop this nonsense abeg. Of course Yoruba people will rejoice for Tinubu. That does not mean Yoruba is content with Nigeria, they are just happy someone like them has a chance of heading Nigeria and in all likelihood will bring relief to their problems. But it's all a wish. We have seen it before. Yoruba rejoiced when Obasanjo won. Today Yoruba is not pleased with Obasanjo. So dont make it look like Yoruba is content with Nigeria, no we are not.

Our satisfaction and glory is in the making of Yoruba Nation. Nobody is bigger than Yoruba Nation, not even Tinubu.

Scatter this Nigeria so we can go our ways.
Politics › People Buhari Betrayed by MetaPhysical(op): 10:06pm On Jun 08, 2022
VP Osinbajo
What would their work relationship look like over remaining months of this term? I just wonder.

Bola Tinubu
Tinubu won the primary on his own doggedness, he was not a choice of Buhari. What this means is that after 3 failed attempts Buhari was helped to APC victory and presidency by Tinubu....now, Tinubu the kingmaker has become king in his own capacity and self-made victory. Buhari cannot thump chest at Tinubu like Tinubu could and has been doing to show Buhari he owed his success to him. What will their relationship look like going forward? I just wonder.

Amaechi
He could have done many things to improve capacity for his people and region. For example - improve port haulage from Rivers State over improved rail lines to hinterland and up-river modal dry ports. Both port and rail administration are under him for 7yrs. Eastern ports have advantage that Lagos lack, River Niger. Huge income stream through which Lower Niger areas could scale up their IGR. But Amaechi choosed instead to facelift Katsina, Kano, Zamfara, Kaduna serving as clearinghouse for goods originating in Lagos ports into Maradi in Republic of Niger. Amaechi bankrolled Buhari election in 2015. What is his gain? When it matters most Buhari did not show appreciation. It makes me wonder if ongoing rail projects in Katsina will be completed before end of this term.

Ogbonnaya Onu
I wrote about this gentleman before. Before Tinubu and everybody else now in APC and Buhari circle, Mr Onu has always believed and stayed true to Buhari side, through losses and wins, never faltered. Mr Onu was one of the backs that offered itself as a step for Buhari to climb on. When he ascended to top Buhari did not pull Onu up with him....he left him at the bottom. I just wonder if this will not be the end of Onu's loyal service to Buhari.
Politics › Re: We Are Excited Tinubu Emerged APC Flag Bearer – YCE by MetaPhysical: 9:16pm On Jun 08, 2022
. The Secretary-General of the Yoruba Council of Elders (YCE), Dr Kunle Olajide has described the emergence of Senator Bola Tinubu, as the flag bearer of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the just concluded primaries of the party, as a positive development.

Olajide said this in a telephone conversation with Vanguard in Ado-Ekiti on Wednesday shortly after the declaration of Tinubu as the winner of the keenly contested APC presidential primary, which was held in Abuja.
In his worlds, “I’m particularly excited that a Yoruba man has emerged as the flag bearer of the All Progressive Congress, I’m particularly more excited that, that Yoruba man is my own personal friend and compatriot right from childhood.

“It is a positive development for the Yoruba nation, i will call on Nigerians to rally support for him and ensure he emerges the next President of this nation, i sincerely hope and pray that he emerges the President of the Country

“Yoruba nation is part of this country, we have been responsible for keeping this country together as one nation, several efforts have been made in the past to divide the country through secession activities but we have been very consistent, we believe in one Nigeria and we have made enormous sacrifices to keep this country together and I’m very happy that through divine intervention we are being repaid now that our own son has emerged as the candidate of one of the leading political parties for the highest position in this country

“We appeal to all Nigerians to give him the support, because we have the records and the reputation of being very sincere in our leadership of this Country.

You can recall the achievements recorded during former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s tenure . We are appealing to all Nigerians to ensure that he emerges as the next civilian president of Nigeria”

Olajide advised Tinubu to adopt unification, peace and stability of Nigeria as the main thrust of his campaign.

“To make us the giant that we are in Africa and the World too. He should keep the flag flying and leave a very solid record behind. This is his time, this is our time, we must ensure that he gives the desired leadership to this country and make our mark”.
Forget Tinubu and bring Yoruba Nation into fruition abeg. What nonsense is this?

To hell with Nigeria!

I think INEC need to intervene in this matter.

Ibos were rigged of their votes. All their votes were stolen and given to another candidate. This should be reported to UN. This outcome is unacceptable. First in PDP, now in APC.

Not Kwankwaso, the NEF will get him to step down for Atiku before the election

Atiku will sweep the entire NW/NE and most states in the NC/SS

Peter Obi will sweep the SE and win major votes in the SS.

Tinubu will be sweep the SW +Kwara
Umahi and Okorocha will bring Imo and maybe Ebonyi to Tinubu.

Tinubu may likely go through more than 1 VP in his term/s as President. He went through 3 deputies in Lagos.

So SE has hope of slipping in should that happen.

DeLaRue:
In Owo, Tinubu will get at least 70% of the votes.

People in the SW don't conflate 'moslems' in the SW with terrorist herders. The two have nothing in common. SW is completely different from SE in this regard. Tinubu has never canvassed extreme religious views...well, not to my knowledge.

Tinubu can choose a Moslem vice and still get 65% of SW votes. The only reason he may not get more than that is because there are still pockets of PDP strongholds in many SW states.

If Tinubu wants to win, he must choose a Northern Moslem of Hausa/Fulani stock.
I used Owo as background on current affairs, I did not question which way they would vote, but instead to wonder at how we respond to sensibilities around religion.

Yoruba is not the only ethnicity in Nigeria. What we tolerate may be a contention for others. To carry all Nigerians Tinubu need to be receptive to their issues, religious diversity is one of them.

I hope my clarification helped.

Maybe Boss Mustapha if we add Aisha Buhari influence on Tinubu, but strike out Dogara, he will not make it.

Tinubu use people to achieve goals. Tinubu used Dogara to appeal to the Bauchi base and to spread his footprint in the NE zone. He has achieved that, Dogara is disposable.

Many of you do not understand Tinubu and his political intrigues. I keep saying this, many Nigerians underestimate this man.

If his victory at primary is ratified by INEC Atiku will not be at ease.

Good point!
Dogara is a recent Tinubu convert. Remember when Saraki headed 8th Senate, Dogara was Speaker and anti-Tinubu. Infact, Gbajabiamila was slated for Speakership in 8th NASS but the Saraki coup, perpetrated through Dogara in House of Reps made it impossible. Dogara is PDP implant.

Boss Mustapha was replacement after Babachir was sacked.

Babachir was one of the originals and loyalists in 2014 when APC was founded. He has remained a pro-Tinubu from day one.

Brother Tinubu ti gbegba oroke oooo.

There is only two things Tinubu can do now:
1. Pick a Muslim Northerner like Zulum/El RUfai as vice and damn the consequences

2. Pick Yakubu Dogara. He has been with Tinubu all through this campaign. He follows him everywhere, so I won't be surprised if he picks him.

Let me tell you now, Tinubu is our next president. A man that can extract the Northern governors from Buhari grasp will surely use those governors to win election at the polls whether Muslim-Muslim or Muslim-Christian.

SW will vote him with 80%. Go and feel the Yoruba people pulse currently, they are massively canvassing for Tinubu.

Forget about the influencers on Twitter & Instagram, those are bots and clout chasers. ariwo oja lasan ni.
Legendhero,
Let me first congratulate you and your fellow Tinubu supporters. Una do well for am. Good job!

Yoruba must abstain from 2023 election. We cannot ask for Yoruba Nation when the country is hot on us but reattach when opportunity is on our side. We need to have resolve and maintain a steady vision on where our future direction should take us. To me and many like myself, our future rests in self-rule.

Of course there will be dissenters among us, who when Tinubu, a Yoruba finish his term, and the heat returns they will also return and embrace the Yoruba Nation ideal.

It happened in 1998, it happened in 2014, it happened in 2021. It has become a predictive pattern.

May God spare lives to witness future events on the subject of nationhood.

Again, congrats to you and Tinubu followers on your victory.

When Atiku won PDP primary he posted solicituous remarks to highlight his loyalty.

Politics › Re: Why Do Southerners Have A Penchant For Calling On The Int'l Bodies by MetaPhysical: 3:17am On Jun 08, 2022
babasolution:
After the catholic attack in owo,one of the main priest there was interviewed on TV,he was calling for international intervention, during the endsars most participants who were majorly or entirely southerners were calling for international intervention.

The igbos agitations usually call for international intervention.

There's this critical situation I have noticed about southerners generally, their men have an extremely submissive mindset or approach to things.

These constant calls for international intervention can lead to subtle or direct recolonisation.

Calling for international intervention is an admission that southerners lack the ability to solve problems on their own,it's a proof of their dependency and incapability of weaning themselves off the white man.

The southerners I believe know that calling for international intervention is approval of neocolonialism yet they do it anyway, some even wish that their lands are recolonised and the white man rules over them.

This trait of southern Nigerian male submissiveness to the whiteman is glaring but subtlety masked by southern Nigerian men.

Deep down these men want to be ruled over but pretend otherwise.
This trait also shows in their constant concession to the Fulani.

Southern Nigerian men can't seem to help themselves they always find the need to be held, supported ,carried and protected by the whiteman.

Most southern Nigerian men act like the whitemans bitch or bedwench.

In conclusion,
I have come to a distressing conviction that the southern Nigerian male is a super submissive male.

This trait shows in their attitudes, character and ways of life(culture)
I endorse this message.

Southerners, after earning academic credentials, start to assume "the gentleman's posture and attitude".

When you become a gentleman you give up your defense. Court must defend you, you cannot any longer defend yourself. When struck, you must not strike back....you must not fight, you are allowed only ⁰ few civilized vulgar words like "ste^wpid, ee^dio+, bombas+ic. Only uncivilized people curse. A gentleman is a civilized person. Sometimes gentleman will use prayer and fasting for defense.
This is the culture we acquired along with books. It is fine in societies where court system work.

Gentleman has no application in Nigerian society, those who adhere by it will end up as victims.

So when gentleman finally realized he has been victimized then we cry to the international societies that taught us not to fight and seek their help with our defense.

They hear us, they are not deaf to our cries....but it baffles them why we are not smart to get gun and fight back. If they were coming to defend us they would do so with guns, so it's a wonder to them why we could not fight our own defense.

You made a very good post my brother.
