It is illegal for a third party to fill declaration papers for a candidate running for office. The exception is when the candidate is incapacitated, and even under such scenario, a letter designating that person as proxy must attach to the form. Sometimes this is called power of attorney. That is you delegate someone to act on your behalf in exercising an obligation or duty.

It will be an offense if someon else filled paper and signed it into record for him. Lateness is not an excuse for violating law.

Ontop of that offense, Tinubu contested for second term and still used same false record.

Tinubu should know that his chances at clinching the presidency is as likely as a shot at the moon with a bow and arrow. It is so obvious considering that the North has practically preempted him as a modern day Afonja that should be used and discarded.

Point one:
We all witnessed how all the northerners in the PDP, Atiku, Tambuwal, Bala Mohammed, Saraki, et al quickly switched allegiance to APC to grab power from Goodluck Jonathan. That is exactly what will happen if Tinubu or any other southerner wins APC nomination. Buhari and co will move behind the scene to back Atiku, the way Atiku and others in PDP backed him to victory in 2015.

When Tinubu declared to run for presidency, his chances was 80%. Wjhen Buhari and the cabal started scheming, his chances reduced to 35%, when Atiku won nomination for PDP, Tinubu's chances dropped to 5%.

Remedy:

Tinubu should act quick and act smart. The northerners will NEVER back him against Atiku. Neither will the Southerners back him since we all see him as a betrayer. But it is not too late to redeem his battered image. Even his wife said that he was sidelined by the north immediately Buhari won. That should have taught him a lesson that a Fulani will never back a Yoruba man. Obasanjo was a mistake of fate.

So my advice for Tinubu is to quickly deop his dead ambition and help mobilize for Peter Obi, the only southerner that realistically stands a chance of clinching the presidency, based on competence and nationwide acceptability. Every sensible person in this country already knows that it is calamitous that in the 21st century that a Tinubu and an Atiku are still options as leaders.

Tinubu should collapse his structure and join the Labour party, while President Peter Obi should reward Tinubu as the Minister of Agriculture. That way, the nation will benefit us all.

Tell Obi to go and look for Presidency in Biafra and Tinubu go Preside over Yoruba nation. Let Atiku or whoever rule them in Arewa.

Op, there has always been gun violence in America and adults killing adults.

Now children are killing children. Many people accuse NRA and advocates of gun rights but the studies and finger pointing are biased.

Most American children have access to online games, arcade games that portray violence, demolition, aggression as positive behavioral traits. You are expected to be rough, brutal, impulsively violent...kill first ask questions later.

Before online games, adults interested in learning use of gun will go to shooting range, rent lane and practice on inanimate targets. After repeated practice you get well skilled on how to identify adversary, retrieve, aim, load and shoot.

With arcade and online games shooting range is now on screen...with animated opponents as targets. Kids learn killer skills on simulations on screen. So when they finally get a gun, by design or circumstantial, they waste many innocent souls their own age or younger.
