Allah! None is worthy of worship but He, the Ever-Living, the Self-Subsisting, the One Who sustains and protects (the entire universe with His strategy). He is seized by neither slumber nor sleep. Whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth belongs to Him alone. Who can dare intercede with Him except by His permission? (He) knows all that is (happening or has happened) before the Creation, and all that is (about to happen) after them; and they cannot encompass anything of His knowledge except that which He wills. His Throne (of Empire and Power and Authority) encompasses the heavens and the earth, and the protection of both (the earth and the heavens) does not pose Him any difficulty. And He alone is Most High, Most Great.

They desire to extinguish the Light of Allah by blowing through their mouths. And Allah rejects (it) but (wills) to manifest His Light to its fullness, even though the disbelievers dislike (it).

Narrated Ibn `Umar:

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "While I was sleeping, I saw that a cup full of milk was brought to me and I drank my fill till I noticed (the milk) its wetness coming out of my nails. Then I gave the remaining milk to `Umar Ibn Al-Khattab" The companions of the Prophet (ﷺ) asked, "What have you interpreted (about this dream)? "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) ,!" he replied, "(It is religious) knowledge."

And as regards the (verse of) the veiling of the women, I said, 'O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! I wish you ordered your wives to cover themselves from the men because good and bad ones talk to them.' So the verse of the veiling of the women was revealed. -3. Once the wives of the Prophet (ﷺ) made a united front against the Prophet (ﷺ) and I said to them, 'It may be if he (the Prophet) divorced you, (all) that his Lord (Allah) will give him instead of you wives better than you.' So this verse (the same as I had said) was revealed." (66:5).

These (deniers of the truth) desire to put out the Light of Allah by (blowing) with their mouths, whereas Allah will take His Light to perfection, even though the disbelievers may dislike it intensely.


[61:9] Al-Ṣaff-الصَّفّ
"ہُوَ الَّذِیۡۤ اَرۡسَلَ رَسُوۡلَہٗ بِالۡہُدٰی وَ دِیۡنِ الۡحَقِّ لِیُظۡہِرَہٗ عَلَی الدِّیۡنِ کُلِّہٖ وَ لَوۡ کَرِہَ الۡمُشۡرِکُوۡنَ ٪﴿۹﴾

He is the One Who has sent His Messenger with guidance and the Din (Religion) of truth so that He may make it dominate and prevail over all other religions, even though the idolaters may hate it much.

حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلاَنَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ، أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ، كَانَ يَقُولُ كَانَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ حِينَ قَدِمُوا الْمَدِينَةَ يَجْتَمِعُونَ فَيَتَحَيَّنُونَ الصَّلاَةَ، لَيْسَ يُنَادَى لَهَا، فَتَكَلَّمُوا يَوْمًا فِي ذَلِكَ، فَقَالَ بَعْضُهُمْ اتَّخِذُوا نَاقُوسًا مِثْلَ نَاقُوسِ النَّصَارَى‏.‏ وَقَالَ بَعْضُهُمْ بَلْ بُوقًا مِثْلَ قَرْنِ الْيَهُودِ‏.‏ فَقَالَ عُمَرُ أَوَلاَ تَبْعَثُونَ رَجُلاً يُنَادِي بِالصَّلاَةِ‏.‏ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏
‏ يَا بِلاَلُ قُمْ فَنَادِ بِالصَّلاَةِ ‏"
Narrated Ibn `Umar:

When the Muslims arrived at Medina, they used to assemble for the prayer, and used to guess the time for it. During those days, the practice of Adhan for the prayers had not been introduced yet. Once they discussed this problem regarding the call for prayer. Some people suggested the use of a bell like the Christians, others proposed a trumpet like the horn used by the Jews, but `Umar was the first to suggest that a man should call (the people) for the prayer; so Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) ordered Bilal to get up and pronounce the Adhan for prayers.

Some even say that only the arabic version of the quran is the quran or things like the quran cannot be translated.

It makes practice somewhat difficult, but, the language of the Qur'an is worth learning to an average Muslim.

Making Muslims to learn the Arabic language has more advantages to the deen and its adherents.
It has become a tradition that may not change anytime soon.

Its really difficult to imagine calling the Muslims to prayer in Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa etc or reciting a surah in English during the ritual prayers.

Interlinear translations may not always convey the exact meaning of a phrase when they are poetic,metaphorical or idiomatic. But it gives the exact representation of the arabic words directly written. Thus the interlinear translation has an advantage of not trying to explain such phrases but thus remain closest to the original writings.
In interlinear translations words are always translated in context to what the idiom for instance mean.


Interlinear translation ALWAYS translate words that are not poetic,metaphorical or idiomatic in CONTEXT.

He got green in envy will not be written with green as color GREEN but with the word Full of desire because the expert translator know that green here doesn't mean color green

Interlinear translations thus help us to see when stange words are inserted by overzealous translators.


Please check carefully, all interlinear translations whether of the quran or the bible are translated in CONTEXT! Therefore, words nearest in meaning are used to convey the meanings.
Check Quran 18:90 13 and Quran 18:90 14 for the transliteration min and duniha respectively. They are both called against it in both occurrence. This means that attention is placed more on context than just the literal words.


Unfortunately, the Quran interlinear translations quoted was done BY some of the best authority of Islam, Arabic and English language. Also don't forget that interlinear translations are different from literal translations. I have the feeling that you mix them up.

Check the INTERLINEAR translation, the words PERCEIVED/ PERCEPTION is not there. It is an invention to correct the TRUTH!

Unfortuntately, your argument doesnt go with usual islamic evidence or proof for the validity of this ayah. Examples of everything in pairs are stated as Light and Darkness, Male and Female, Hills and Valleys, White and Black, etc.
The pairs are not ever presented as two Bdelloidea or two Hermaphrodites.

If I get you well, your argument is that everything was created in TWOS. Then the argument of Light and Darkness, Male and Female fall completly FLAT. If your argument is that God made TWO Bdelloideas and TWO Hermaphrodite fungis then, we must agree that God made TWO Hills, TWO Valleys, TWO Men, Two Women.

Secondly, does this apply also to the SUN and MOON? For our sun and moon are included in EVERYTHING Allah made in Pairs?
