Days ago I started the finishing aspect of the job by applying the body filler and painting. I was able to deliver the gate to the location of the client and he was impressed by the speed although he said I should have painted the back same color as the front. I promised him I would do that whenever I will be working on site

bilms: What is the meaning of Nigeria is not ripe? Is Nigeria a fruit?
This kind of attitude and reaction is exactly why the country is not moving forward.
Every time a good cause of action is identified to be done, we kill such initiative with baseless argument of Nigeria is not ripe. good morning and I hope you slept well. That is my opinion and observation of the current situation of Nigeria. If it doesn't sit well with you, kindly make your own comment without responding to me. Thanks and stay safe |

You have spoken well like a very wise man but it's very important to know that Nigeria isn't yet that matured to play this type of politics. A country where a president choose the whole service chiefs from a particular region where he also hails from should tell you how backwards we are.
Yes, your idea is good but eh....... |

EgunMogaji2: So they weren’t lying that this is the best cutter.
It’s my fault I guess. Using it to cut half circle in pipe. I really needed to use a hole saw.
The blade went 50 feet before hitting a wall. I learnt a big lesson today.
I made an expandable welding table today. Can go from 2’ x 4’ to 4’ x 8’. Also stocked up with pipes. Thanks. before this cutter was one other cutter but I have forgotten the name and they have ruined the brand by importing fake versions. This one came in and was very cheap. While others sells for #600, it sells for #500 and yet it's stronger and more durable. It doesn't have to be expensive to be better. Anyway before this will happen, you must have forced the angle grinder and the cutting stone to uncomfortable position and the next thing is to break. You don't force it to cut. You have to be really patient with it or risk cutting off your balls |

I will ensure that I get it to the closest park to your location. I can't predict what happens after that. But if the quantity of the job is much, I can arrange to have them delivered to your site. true2home: Dude, i like your spirit. We go do business one of this days. Nigeria is about size of ONE state in the USA. With the help of the INTERNET, every corner of Nigeria should be able to transact business without much stress. The headache of Lagos is unwarranted IMO. Dangote dey Ogun State and other part and dey supply the whole Africa. Lagos is the epicenter of business in Nigeria but it is overcrowded already. To get a door to from Nnewi to Lagos is #5,000. To get a door from point A to B in Lagos is above #7,000. You see the economics. So whenever you are ready, let's do business. We already started with the finish works. By today, I intend to start applying the body filler.
The smaller gate has few stuff to fix

n3xt: Even FG project is on hold.
I was shocked when I saw what’s left inside our store yesterday.
_____ The real issue is there are too many ongoing projects. People are seriously buying despite the price increase.
According to stats, Lafarge made more sales during this crisis. Even the Channel Partners.
Despite the scarcity, I’ve received over 13 trailers between Nov and Dec. what I have observed is that once there's inflation in the economy, people ten to build more probably because their cash savings is dropping in value daily. Just imagine you had about #50ml in savings two months ago,by this weekend when compared to the $$$ you're worth less but if you invested the money in real estate, you are more protected. This is my layman's understanding of the economy and no one should ask me to defend it oh |

negy2016: @michlins pls wat is the cost of the water stand Dijita: This is nice. Please how much is this for a bungalow?
I was told it is more prudent to use the concrete stand in the beach to avoid rust as a result of salt from the sea. What is your recommendation? My project is about half mile to the sea definitely. For a bungalow, you will have to use 4 by 2" H channel. I believe you will be using a single 1000 gallons tank. One4me: . I keep liking you the more. You are quick and direct with your jobs. The Sky is your limit, if you keep going at this pace. Can we see a closeup picture of the joints of that tank Stand, and in all what was the cost for the setup (tank Stand)
Even your Gate is coming up good.
Just remember to keep a level head, when things start going good for you. Always remember that first day you came here and we tackled you very hard Dont be like those who say "Danger Over, God forgotten". More Grease to you elbow Bro. and thanks to @gbadexy who gave you the first shot, with that single door I will never forget what @gbadexy did for me here. In the story of my success,he will always be remembered as the person who gave me the first push. To do this tank, I gave the owner two options of using 5 by 3 or 6 by 3" channel and he choose the later. The cost of making it is #650,000 for the later and #570,000 for the later. The attached image is for the foundation joints. You will observe the use of clits at the different joints zuraking: are tank stand more better than the build and cast? I have been confused which of them I will do. this is definitely and miles ahead of cast. This can be moved from its current position to another. All you need to do is loosen the bolts holding the tank on the foundation. But that's not the main reason, the channels are made to last for decades so you definitely have nothing to worry about.

n3xt: You’ve made your point bro and I understand you perfectly.
No one uses angle iron to make slats. Check online and see what we are talking about.
If the specification is pipe, don’t recommend angle iron just because you can’t make it work like others.
This is exactly the typical “this is how we do it naija” mindset we are talking about. you don't understand subject of discussion. Slats will be pipe. Framing the gate or any other one should be angle bars. Use angle bars to frame the gate especially those areas that goes to the wall and floor because they are most exposed to rusting. You can use pipes anywhere else |
