prof2007:Your airline has just done. something that will make it one of the best in the globe. Mark my words, I haven't eaten anything this morning and I pray for your company this morning with a deep sense of gratitude for what you have done, you will prosper, whatever decision you need to make to become world leader, God will cause your leadership to take such decisions. You won't regret your decision to help our helpless countrymen. Yes, my direct blood relation may not be there, but I really feel inspired and grateful to your airline. |
Why it is good for them to plan to be self sustaining in manpower in the long run, the approach of South African Government is showing that we are indeed been targeted for humiliation and attack. It is however very painful to note that the FGN has not seen any serious need to retaliate strongly in terms of policy. The cosmetic response FGN will only encourage other African countries to take Nigeria for granted. It is South Africa today, tomorrow it will be the turn of Ghana etc. Somehow there appears to be a conspiracy of silence on the part of CSOs, where are the likes of Campaign for Democracy, NLC etc perhaps the media needs to find a way of sensitising them on the need to persuade this APC Government on the need to defend our pride in the comity of nations especially Africa. |
Kapeter:I don't believe you. That Buhari even support Bello to emerge as a candidate has eroded the last respect to have for his anti corruption campaign. He can't claim innocence of the suffering in Kogi neither can he come to tell us that he is unaware of the sleaze going on In the state. Indeed, he should ask BELLO to invite him to Kogi state to commission the projects he has executed. |
Their Foreign Affairs minister and this minister of Defence are two typical examples of the quality of minds leading South Africa. I can't imagine these high ranking government officials who are incidentally women will make such stupid public statements. If you have foreign criminals in your society, it will be impossible for them to operate without the active connivance or the local criminals. Now for you to single out the few foreigners and use it as opportunities to attack the successful none -criminal foreigners is a damage to your country that your generation may never recover from. The respect I had for S Africans as a people vapourised with the their comments and the way they have managed the crisis so far. Know this fact and declare it all over SA, that for repaying the good thing done by countries like Nigeria for your country during the Apartheid regime, you have invited a more wicked regime to Lord over your country the Apartheid. |
igbobuigbo:I can't understand why someone will decide to give us additional headache to the trouble been formented by South African terrorists by introducing tribal sentiments. Whether Igbo or Yoruba, a Nigerian is a Nigerian and should be protected. There is a saying in my village, if two brothers are fighting daily, it doesn't imply an outsider can come and beat any of the two brothers without being challenged by his quarrelsome brother. Besides, S African terrorists (Xenophobia) does not care about your tribe, they care about your country. |
pickatyou:I sincerely pray and hope so. I have never seen such a nuisance as a Governor. |
MR V President, I am very angry with the way you and PMB are handling this matter. Is the life of Nigerians living in South Africa worth a penny to your Government? There is nowhere in the world that American citizens can be treated the way Nigerians in SA are been treated.vWe have Ambassador or High Commissioner in that country and are reported to be failing in protecting our countrymen. Look, provide leadership in Africa on this matter and there will be an immediate end to this crisis. Suspend diplomatic relationship with them and see how other African countries will follow up. Invite their Government to a meeting thereafter and make your demand, failing which tlyou will not restore the relationship. |
We must all take responsibility for the way our Government is handling this matter as if the lives of Nigerians been taken weekly does not matter. It is now an aberration to protest against Government inactions and ineffeciency. The will be quick to tag you PDP. What is the quality of advice been given Mr president by the Foreign Affairs Ministry, Ministers, Advisers etc. Why can't we petition AU and seek for sanction against government and people of South Africa in strong term? |
To be honest, APC government approach to this Xenophobit attack has been encouraging S Africans and their government to continue attacking us. Nobody will ever try this under OBJ. Why is PMB sending messages to Thier President after repeated attacks and killing? What is the quality of advice been given to PMB by Foreign Affairs ministry and ministers? Why should we wait untill what is left of our dignity as a people and nation is trampled down? The right thing to do is to suspend all diplomatic relationship with SA with immediate effect. Do you know what?Other affected African countries that have suffered similar fait will follow Nigeria decision untill all forms of attacks are curbed by Ramaphosa. |
yarimo:APC supporters and the way they play god is unrivalled. Are you God who gives power? Is not God who can determine who will live till November and beyond?;You trust in your plan to rig the election but do you know that we are praying and God will deliver us us from Yahaya Bello and Lawrence Onoja. He did it for the children of Israel in Egypt band he is still bin the business of deliverance. Keep boasting. |
englishmart:European built free Hospitals at what cost? The colonialist took away our natural resources to feed their country's economy, all the infrastures provided was to help them cart away as much as possible resources. The Railway line was constructed to link the hinterland to the coast for ease of transportation of Agric and Solid Mineral resources. Remember the also have their Nationals working here that will require medical services? This was after mosquitoes thought them hard lessons. Now on the cost of service at the hospital built by RCCG, ( please permit me to indicate that I am not a member of RCCG ), please note that the Hospital must charge minimal cost to stay in business. NGO, can help the poor to pay where neccessary. |
seunmsg:I am not in support of Nigeria paying the $850m nor should Nigeria succumb to threat of asset seizure b without giving a fight. Some of us has always been saying that yar'dua Government did much damage to this economy , perhaps next to Abacha regime . A Government that did not allow the VP to have a say with Anthony General & Minister of Justice like Andoaka , and Minister of Petroleum Like Lukman Rilwane all so powerful and not being checked by and ailing president? The consequences of the vacuum of power is what we are reaping today? Have we learnt any lesson? I doubt. GEJ cannot be completely absolved of blame. Nigerians need to know what his Administration did to prevent this calamity. PMB should also tell us what his Administration has been doing to prevent this kind of absurd judgement, since assumption of power in 2015. Now the National Assembly is hiding behind their annual vacation? The entire members of Nigerian Parliament should be jailed if this Judgement should crystallize. What have they been doing? So none of them is aware of the imminent danger ? Why have they not alerted the country and called PMB and his Justice Minister to question?. WE ARE WATCHING! PMB, APC, PDP. SENATE & HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVE NOTHING MUST HAPPEN TO OUR MONEY. I implore the media, to fight on the side of Nigerians on this matter. The foreign fraudster and the Nigerian collaborators must not be allowed to get away with this. We shall come back after winning the case to request for punishment for all the collaborators. |
helinues:What is the role of Babatunde Raji Fashola here? He's no more the minister of power. |
Joystark:Your thought is dirty. Obaseki is not only a popular name is Edo/Benin kingdom, but a well known name in Nigeria. This man was more popular than the Governor at a time, indeed Gaius Obaseki a former powerful GMD of NNPC was another powerful Obaseki. So, when bloggers or press mentioned Obaseki, don't be o |
I have a different opinion. Why Tinubu? Yes he's is the political leader of SW as at today, but we must not be insensitive to the major political risk factors bin this country. If indeed we desire a united Nigeria, why can't APC shop for a detribalised Nigerian from SE who must be a Christian. PMB is a Muslim and now this people are trying to foster another Muslim on us in 2023 on the ground that religion is not one of the major issue in this country why we all admit that there's mutual suspicion between the major religions on plan surpress another. Again, why Tinubu? What is wrong with Vice President Yemi Odinbajo? Has any act of disloyalty been found in him? Must Nigeria be wired to satisfy individual political ambitions? I wish Tinubu should just concentrate on political kingmaking, he's good at that, let him source good hands but let him not ask to be president, he may not perform excellently. |
Felixalex:You have right to your own opinion. You care so much about this man not putting into consideration the people and families his action has caused grief directly and indirectly. Now that he's back to Nigeria, he should be satisfied with medical treatment here. |
Kingosytex: |
J111333:Absolutely your headache. |
El -Rufai will most likely misuse presidential power to the detriment of this unity of this country with what we are seeing in Kaduna. Very arrogant and insensitive to the feelings of other people that are none. Muslim and none Fulani. If the report about the power play in presidency is true, then I will say thank you to those guys. However, let me also sound a note of warn. Power must come back to the South after Buhari. |
duncun:You have a point. To be sincere, the seeming silence from SW was very annoying, however, we must look beyond that a forge a common front against the invaders. For the purpose of record and avoidance of doubt,I repeat, it is this lack of common strategy against them that has been giving them strength to bash all of us the way the wish. Imagine if the entire middlebelt , unite with the Southern Nigeria to confront them? Do you think them can subdue us despite Thier imported fighters from Libya? Is it not time to put away our differences to confront them? The longer we delay, the more they will continue to suppress us. Look at the appointments and heads of MDAs you will know they are very serious about subjugation. |
Rekhina:You are a typical example of the problem with Nigeria. A good reason for the Fulani to continue to dominate Nigeria.Absolute lack of respect for other people being propanded by the Yoruba, a case for continuous suspicion even when a genuine attempt is being made for Southern unity. One thing you need to be educated on is that Nigeria is so diverse and greater than Yoruba, Igbo and Hausa /Fulanis interest. Perhaps you are one of the few Igbos enjoying the status quo ? Just continue to wish Yoruba and Igbo didn't agree. |
This man has always been showing disdain for the tiny rope of unity hold Nigeria together. Because he was able to invite the Christians in Kaduna to win an election, he thinks it is now time to block the entire South using the Caliphates designed rigging plan? All because he want to be next president? It is time to challenge his wreckless comments. The other time, it was threats to international community on the election on live TV saying they will be returned home in bodybag. This same man l? Such a person should not be trusted with public office if not for the aberrations in Nigeria. |
Amumaigwe:I don't decide who and who will be part of the negotiations. I only made suggestions, I agree with you on the popularity of Tinubu, I personally doubt his willingness to be part of such negotiations given his painful silence on the continua kidnapping and killing of Nigerians. |
pinkPUSSY:Again, you may please bignore my "biase" and let's run with the message. It is this mutual suspicion that is the strength of the Fulanis. Believe it or not, the Fulanis are the most sophisticated politically in this country and can read in between the lines if the Igbo and Yorubas are willing to unite. |
highcollide:If Nigeria will be free from Fulanis control, the two tribes must sincerely reconcile, put together a workable relationship, enlighten Thier youths to stop social media attack on each other then face the Fulanis. As per FFK, remember, his political pedigree is of no consequence in Yorubaland, only the leadership of two tribe can do this. The likes of Woke Soyinka, OBJ, Prof Ben Akabueze,Jim Nwobodo,Former Commenwealyh Scribe,,Ooni and Alaafin, The Obi of Onitsha, Champion Publisher, etc. Will start with reconciliation meeting, silently set agenda and politically set to dismantle the military structure put in place by the likes of Abacha and IBB to protect the Fulanis and invade the South. |
The issue with Nigeria is not the Fulanis, it unfortunate to say the Igbos and Yorubas are the main problems Nigeria is not moving forward and this has been giving the Fulanis to do what they want. They can treat Yorubas the way they want because they know the Igbos will applaud such act as vengeance for Yorubas role in civil war despite the fact that manyYoruba supported Igbos during the war, house them, protected them or even fought along with them. They won't remember that Fajuyi choose to die to protect Ironsi, rather they see Yorubas as traitor. Yorubas, see Igbos as selfish, unreliable when it comes to political alliance and unrepentantly domineering. Armed with such information, the Fulanis finds it easy to manipulate the South to get what they want in Nigeria at the expense of others. The only solution and indeed a fast one that will send fear down to thrones in the North is not this type of letter, it is a reconciliation meeting between the Yoruba leaders and Igbos leader with other ethnic minorities in South not taking sides but facilitating reconciliation between all. Thereafter, a joint communiqué of this nature above to FGN, Fulanis , ECOWAS, AU and UN with deadlines will cause the desired reactions. |
inoki247:Nature teach the rude to elders hard lesson in life. If you are a Bible student, check the story of the children of Noah and what happened to the child that derided him when he was drunk and naked and compare with the one that covered his unclothedness. Remember also the children that called Elisah baldheaded and what the Lion did to them? |
seborrhic:I share the same opinion. An attack on an Embassy is an attack on a country. I doubt if the story is true in entirety. Why do we have Diplomatic attaché? |
Oddnumber:He was able to rig state the state House of Assembly election using the Police to initmidate the voters. He couldn't have won without the help of his gunmen. |
Oddnumber:Our dear is not about people voting for him, our dear is about his capacity to rig election backed by Federal Police against the wish of Nigerians. No rational human will vote the person responsible for his/her hardship. Kogi people are wise enough. |
[quote author=Davash222 post=81019293]Wife of the president now decides who becomes a Governor We’re going deep down day by day. Nigeria’s condition seems irredeemable.[/quote That's not strange in Nigerian politics. People worship political leaders in power. PEJ did it in River state, it got so bad that Amaech said he was prevented from going out of Govt House by PEJ.. Now to Kogi state, it appears PMB is not interested in the plight of Kogi workers and anything that may be of interest to the welfare of the citizens of this country resident in that state. How do we explain the imposition of the most ineffective and inefficient Governor in Nigeria on the people of the state of Kogi? Why is the presidency not making any denial of the allegations levelled against the First Lady? why is GYB always running down to Abuja to take photographs with members of the first family to debunk rumours that he will soon be denied of APC ticket through a free and fair direct primary? etc. Aisha may be powerful today to use her position to inflict pain and agony on the people of Kogi state, but believe me God who gives power is capable of delivering us from her. As per the role of Dino Melaye in the whole saga, he has tendered a public apology for his role as for me I have forgiven him because of his recent change of attitudes and pro-masses campaign against the misrule of GYB. Remember, it is possible to trust someone only for the trust to be betrayed. GYB betrayed the confidence reposed on him by Dino. Saraki already has his rewards in the saga. One will like to ask, why is Tinubu not insisting the Faleke should contest the primary again in Kogi state if he truly has the interest of the suffering masses in the state at heart? ] |
naptu2:Ifeanyi Uba the young biggest debtor that is now in the Senate. May I suggest we stop big debtors that are in default to stop contesting political office in this country? If you support this motion, click like. |
