psychologygh:What is Ghana's population and volume of Nigerian trade entering Ghana. Ghana as it were is an equivalent of Lagos State economy and population. Can't you understand we didn't send those Nigerian opening shops in Ghana any business? Perhaps you need some level of education on the working of international trade? I am not a supporter of the ruling party in Nigeria but this is the first decision that abluathe government will take that am supporting 200%. You may not realise how damaging it is for companies with operation base in Nigeria closing it down only to be producing in Ghana to feed Nigerian market. I heard you saying I don't care? O yes, I shouldn't expect you to care, but turn the table the other way round and let us see how the intolerant Ghana will react? The lesson is clear, don't expect the unemployed Nigerian to buy the products of companies closing down in Nigeria to produce in Ghana. It maybe hard, but Nigerian are ready to endure it to stpt the ridicule from Ghana and other West African countries benefiting from our pains and still disrespecting us. Economic war is not the best but when it becomes imperative, you face it. |
if the government shows commitment Russia will be willing to deliver, my fear is America will find a way to make sure it did not work[/quote Please don't bring America into this. Let B do this and then use it to buy my support. Mr. President, you achieve this and see how I will reduce my opposition to your Government. I wish you can stop tha GYB from becoming our Governor . Please don't give him the N10b |
Sleekbaby:Thank you for educating us . Can we have a graduate and professional english teacher finalize discussion from a position of an authority otherwise , I will just agree with you and move on, English is not my mother's tongue biko. |
The teacher must be a Yoruba woman.[/quo Watch your comment before go ignite another tribal firepower here. |
STFUand4kMeHARD:He was still in love with Bianca then and find it difficult to accept that Ojukwu used bigman power to deny him access to her . Please don't quote me. |
Your question is misleading. How are you sure Nigerians does not like him? What is or are the bases of your conclusion and I know that many Nigerians like him. Perhaps you should re frame your question this way; why did Nigerians like Gernot Rohr . |
Let them continue to fight. I don't like both of them. Sanusi is one of the people bthat created crisis for GEJ with his careless public comments, now he thought he can continue that with APC, I beg let him start reaping part of his rewards. Ganduje the Dollar man, you are PMB's guy, please keep stealing Kano money, as much as you remain loyal to PMB , you can't be corrupt nor will EFCC think about your crime. Thanks to PMB style of Anti corruption fight. Help us thank Buhari for imposing Yahaya Bello on Kogi people, there is reward for everything done under the sun |
mrvitalis:I have to restrain myself from using a hard language on you but if you have a sound understanding of Nigeria, won't you know that there are Yorubas in the Middlebelt or North Central? Do you know the essence of the National Conference the GEJ failed to implement? Are many of us from middle belt not angry with him for playong careless politics with such matters of crucial importance? If he didn't waste time to.implement the recommendation of the conference it would have been near impoy for PMB to be messing around with our collective intelligence on many issues of national importance. |
Well thank you Mr Governor for your response this time around, although Lagosians have really suffered on recent time due to your slow response to their crym Imaging spending about 3 hours from Anthony to Ketu on Saturday!? I will like to appeal to you to remember those of us around Agege Motor Way to Sango -Ota axis. The traffic on that axis is killing us gradually , potholes all over the road from Abule Egba while the unfinished construction work between Ikeja and Abule Egba is untold pain with traffic congestion everytime. PLEASE MR GOVERNOR HELP US, YOU CAN DO IT. |
Zhuhilat:I am a few year above 10 in.marriage. I secular system you probably will regard someone like me as a Fellow but there is no Fellow in marriage. Everyone is a learner till death do you part. Now to the issue, the foundation is very important and your faith. I will therefore use Christianity to counsel you. Are both of you Christians or you just go to church? This question is very important, because as Christians if you have an issue the first thing is for both of you to kneel down beside your bed humbly to pray that God should intervene and grant to of you wisdom and the emotional strength to resolve you differences. Don't be surprised that you have serious misunderstanding, because both of you have different upbringing and perspective, one can talk carelessly , the other can take radh decision , but you are now one. The place of praying together sincerely cannot be overemphasized. Tell God all you typed here as it's paining you from the bottom of your heart. God hates putting away. Both of you must learn the teachings of Jesus in Christian Forgiveness. (Seven times of Seventy times Seven) Your suspicion must also be addressed. If you suspect he's cheating on you which you consider as the motivation for his actions, asking him with wisdom not with direct accusations . You should perhaps see your pastor for further counseling, but please for the sake of the child involved, you two have to make the marriage work. It is what is destroying the western society, we must not allow it creep into ours . If you both fervently pray together, see the development as an attack on your marriage, which is contrary to the plan of God , you will find it easy to handle the crisis. Pray together, be ready to admit you fault and humbly ask for forgiveness, let him also do the same, it should be a bedroom affairs. Holy Spirit being the chief judge of the appeal court will give your family the desired peace, but don't fail to go to him in prayer. |
mrvitalis:The elementary politics of Nigeria shows it was formed on a Tripod of North, West and East After OBJ (West), it was Yar'dua (North) , Goodluck (East), Buhari (North) then it should be West next. We are watching. |
mrvitalis:Your comment is just part of the reason why the North will continue to boast and dominate. Democracy is a game of number. When you say Igbo presidency /middlebelt you have forgotten that if you want the Yorubas that forms an integral part of Southern Nigeria band more than Igbo in population to buy your dream , you have to negotiate not fight or insult their sensibility? I as a person cannot take Ango Abdullah serious, he is a national embarrassment to Hausa race. Let it be known that power belongs unto God . Time it was some PDP leaders claim the part will continue bro rule for the next 40years or more, where are they today? Let us all be guided. |
etrouble:Can't you see that PMB and Yahaya Bello has failed on this matter? We may not like Dino as a person but for now, our people will continue to vote for him as long as Buhari keep supporting Bello ,.failed to execute any Federal project in our constituency or consider any of our sons worthy of any political appointment. |
NgeneUkwenu:You don't have to waste your time typing rubbish. We from his Senatorial Region are ready to vote him over and over again. Let Buhari and Yahaya Bello continue to intimidate voters using police and gunmen, we shall overcome. |
Pettyprincess:I think you are either deceiving yourself or you have been deceived. One year? Not all that glitters is good, beware! |
It appears Sanwo-Olu and Hamzat are not aware that they are not only putting thier personal reputations at risk , but the political reputation of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu? Considering the achievements of Fashola and even the immediate past Governor Ambode they replaced, Lagosians will not forgive nor take it kindly with them if they should fail us. How do we explain the sudden re-emergence of the Okada Ridders on major roads like Ikorodu Road (from Mile 12 to Jibowu?). Why will Lagos state Government considering the safety risk approve the likes of O Pay riders on such roads creating safety risk for both the rest riders and the commuters in vehicles. Will they claim ignorance of the bones been dislocated or broken daily? Have they ask Igbobi Orthopaedic Hospital for update? What about the terrible conditions of roads all over, and all I can hear is they are waiting till end of raining season? Must Lagosians waste so much time in traffic and spend more money to maintain Thier vehicles because they voted for you? How then are you rightly justifying the arrest of one way when indeed the roads are not vehicles worthy? Lagos must and should always be at the fore front of good governance in Nigeria and we want to see our roads working again, the streets light back, the Okadas off our express ways, the guys sleeping under the bridge between Ojota and Ketu stack naked removed, the median separating the towsides of Ikorodu roads broken down by reckless Danfo drivers fixed(it has help reduce incidence of robbing in traffic). We also want Danfo drivers and their conductors to be licensed, and practice strictly regulated such that it will be easy for passengers to call and report them for violating traffic rules, use of foal language against passenger, poor dressing etc, security cameras should be made to work effectively for ease of traffic monitoring/policing by LASTMA etc. These and many more are some of our expectations from you Mr Governor and Deputy. I hope you are aware that Lagosians are already complaining about your poor performance so far, you still have time to redeem you image before Lagosians and the time start now. |
BUA must be thinking this APC Government care about rule of law or respect agreements. I wish you well in your attempt to test the will of Buhari administration. Perhaps, you can be lucky with the judiciary. |
alphaNomega:I don't think the owner of the Home Grown Rice are of any importance. The important factor here is they are grown in Nigeria. The implication being that we won't spend our hard earned USD to pay for it as a country, that can be diverted for procurement of machines and equipment for mass production. In the long run, the value of Naira against USD will raise(indirect salaries and Wages increment) for all work force . |
ShitHead:We may not like them but once they are making attempt to do the right thing, please let's support them. The IOC have been accuse of under remittance, let them prove that they are innocent. |
Kwanza:Arrant nonsense! Why will MURIC not rate him best because of his deliberate act to favour Muslim and Islam? What corruption are they talking about please? How has his anti corruption fight help this country? This same man that said Abacha did not steal money because he built hospitals through PTDF? How can you compare his anti corruption fight with the achievement of OBJ in this regard? It was OBJ &s administration that set up. EFCC, ICPC etc. It is also on record that OBJ did not limit his fight to opposition, his IGP we can remember what was done to him, tell me where is Babachir Lawal? Why is he shielding Yahaya Bello despite the absymal performance of the guy? Anyway, we will knowore at the end of his tenor. |
realstars:Perhaps you need to recognise that this is about the best decision this man has ever taken as a civilian president. Now, the FGN has been subsidising petroleum but the unscrupulous businessmen will take such product across the boarder to sell at a more expensive rate for profit why people on East and North can't get products to buy at the controlled price. You talk about importation of rice our Benin Republic neighbour is about the highest importer of rice in the word , which they dumped on Nigeria without remorse, the implication is that our home grown rice producers can't sell theirs at profit after obtaining loan because there are cheaper rice from Cotonou? Such act is nothing but ECONOMIC WAR!. Now imagine them saying Buhari want to kill them when indeed their government and people are killing us?.They deliberately refuse to police their boarder to keep us dependent on their rice forgetting that if we are self sufficient, we can supply them cheaper rice and their country supply us home grown products where they have comparative advantage. Economic war is a serious crime and must be confronted. It is on record that OBJ also closed the boarder, Benin Republic promised to police her boarder but here we are 15years after nothing has been achieved. Buhari should just give them and their Nigerian collaborators Dasuki's treatment. Look at Niger and tell me how helpful has she being in our fight against Boko Haram. Should we continue to deceive ourselves?Go to those African countries and see how much respect they accord Nigeria , perhaps just a little better than South Africa? Do you think if they are the countries with Nigeria Economic advantage, they will do half of what Nigeria is doing for them for us? BUHARI BE WISE DON'T GIVE UP UNTILL YOU WIN THIS BATTLE. |
It is very disturbing to note that a project that should cost about $183m is being executed at $1,2b and nobody is talking about it? It is also very heartbreaking that the completion date is being dragged without the government offering any explanation. Our hope was high with the assumption of office of Sanwo-Olu as Governor giving the reasons advanced for preventing a second term for Ambode. Today, it appears an average Lagosian will prefer to have Ambode complete a second term. There appears to be a conspiracy of silence. The bike riders(Okada) have taken over our highway/roads and the business of bone breaking has once more assume an alarming dimension because of vested interest in Alausa, pot holes have taken; over the major roads including some considered as Federal but critical to smooth movement in the city like Ikorodu Road ,Agege Motor Way to Sango Toll-gate etc, the street light are going dark , and nobody cares talking about new project when the uncompleted projects dots every corner. Now people have returned to sleeping under the bridge at least I saw one under the bridge separating Ketu-Ojota. Mr. Governor we had better expectations. Sawolu-Olu should wake up before Lagosian come after him! |
murphyibiam15:When you say the "West", it is an unfair and sectional generalisation. You know the Afenifere were opposed to PMB's candidature, you are also aware that many people from SW are independent minded and will not cast their vote just to favour Tinubu. Now will it be fair to say SE voted PMB but was rigged by PDP? When making comments on political issues that are capable of dividing us we should be careful. |
Who does not know that this current INEC chairman is working for APC/PMB? The Kogi election is abinito rigged in favour of Yahaya Bello. They will all have their reward. |
Calculating:I am not a fan or supporter of APC but this call on VP to resign is one of the most dishonest criticism of our time. Yes, PMB and his kitchen cabinet may be sublely sidelining him , but for you to now ask him to resign to prove his innocence is like calling PMB to resign to prove he's not complicit in herdsmen attack all over the country. FFK and Co please let the man be. |
Emmy9ite02:Yes. It's the same location. The issue with the location is the the steep slope that made it difficult for trucks to climb and traffic jam speed. Once there's traffic and trucks can't accelerate to climb, there's the tendency for the truck to reverse under the weight if! load. Often, you see Thier "Moto boy" hastily alight trying to wedge the tyre from rolling back under such circumstances, once the wedge is unable to stop reverse under the influence of weight, the probability of a fall will almost be 100%. Lessons: cars should never move close to loaded truck when climbing a hill, Never allow the danfo drivers to block that Berger bus stop. That is the major cause of traffic and live has been lost with million of Naira. The construction of Kara Bridge most likely to have induced the traffic that lead to the fall of yesterday. |
Some comments here are really very provocative. If a church that has been in existence for more than 110years s being demolished and some of you are carelessly supporting the idea because it is a church, then I say unto you, wait till another extremist like El-Rufai will come up from another part of the country to demolish a 50yeats old mosque without documents. At least the church has the required documents but some mischievous politicians are determined to continue with Jihad against Nigerian Church. We must tell the Government the truth and ask him to redesign the plan for the common good. |
kelvinginzie:What about if I tell you that Wike and Amaechi are still good friends in secret pretending to be enemy in public? Both of them can reconcile within a few hour and come together as same party men. Forget about the noise out there, you don't know Nigerian politicians at all. |
kelvinginzie:You are one of the people the duo have succeeded in receiving that the are fighting and arch enemy. Don't be surprised to read or hear they still meet to discuss how to deceive Nigerians. |
It is strange for you to start apology now after your top Government official has shown flagrant support for the devilish act. After your Foreign Affairs woman minister insulted us collectively and our president. Here in Nigeria, we take serious people's insult in time of bereavement. You killed our people, we didnt retaliate by killing yours, our police made frantic efforts to stop looting of your companies here why your police watched, supported the killing of our countrymen. Insult upon injury? Yet we realise that there are many reasonable South Africans out there like the Catholic Bishops Conference of S A, a parliament member, and some few ladies that have decried the barbaric attack. We have also watched many videos of further insult on us as a people. As a Bible student, I want to believe many South Africans that claimed christianity are familiar with the story of David and Shimei? Read II Samuel 16: 5-13 Our request is simple, make full compensation for the life and properties destroyed. We have not intention to retaliate, but if your Government ignore the plea for compensation be assured that God will soon avenge the blood of the slain in multifold. It is not good to disown your benefactors in thier peroid of distress, you have allowed envy to make you sin against fellow Africans because your counrty is propering? REMEMBER APARTHEID, HISTORY HAVE A FUNNY WAY OF REPEATING ITSELF |
AtikuNetwork:No ye not this fact except ye are not of political discerning mind? It has been observed that Chief Woke the present owner of River state, bis going the way of his former boss and mentor, Rotimi Amaechi , going to APC. He consult with Godswill Akpabio of how to become a beautiful bride to APC. What more art thou expecting to hear or read or smell about this strategy? Wike-Rotimi-Ameachi, I hope PDP will forgive thee. |
Oya, go I tell that SAN with a sound mind. Tell him we now have solution to one of his major headaches. Let him pay us consultancy fee and we help him make Nigeria great again. Babatunde Raji Fasola ( SAN),. people are talking about your business here on Nairaland oooooo! |
