39 bodies found in England. They sensibly did not reveal the gory images. But the stupid bloggers and media will keep assaulting us with these imaged that should be censored. They need to regulate our cyber space.
And those ones who posted photos of Emiliano Sala's corpse are in prison now

Time for safety measures to be put in place.

A removable stalk might have saved those lives
they cant do that. Once everybody hears that they wont die, people will start crowding themselves inside that container to the extent that they will even remove some of the fish that was being transported

they just implicated the driver cuz to me, it looks like those people are looking for passage into UK and the smuggled themselves into the driver truck to gain passage into UK but the information they got from wherever they got it isn’t accurate as they thought they could be able to survive the freezing for some hours not knowing it will take the truck 4days to enter UK...

Very intense investigation should be conducted.

RIP to the dead
Exactly! At times the smuggler will remove some part of the container, stuff people inside and glue it back

Then the unsuspecting driver will come and collect it

Why are they displaying this guys pictures without going through the casehuh

They probably faced a delay somewhere and were not able to take the cold or ran out of oxygen

This another sad event, very mysterious indeed.
Wondering if the bodies are to be used for some clinical analysis or what, since the bodies are frozen. Well further investigation will unravel this mystery.

but Explorers, the pix of the bodies were not shown just the truck. Sure human bodies are in the truck? My thoughts though!
They werent transported as frozen bodies, they hid themselves in there to get smuggled illegally into the UK

Its a refrigerated truck used for transporting cargo like meat, fruit and stuff. They couldnt take the cold (and air tightness to preserve freshness) and so they died

They cant show the dead body because its against the law

It's mysterious. We cannot be sure of what circumstance exactly would have made a truck carry 39 dead bodies in the UK. I hope findings upon investigation by the Police are made public.

The news is very true. I also read it on Channels TV last night.
The truck wasnt carrying dead bodies, the people snuck themselves in there to smuggle themselves into the UK

Sometimes the driver wont even know they are there because they will pick the container from the port after the smuggler has finished tampering with it

Unfortunately the conditions got too much for them (the truck is refrigerated/air tight) and they gave up the ghost

RIP

Learning what i need to know shouldn't be in a hard way...... Learning should be fun woman!
What's your own definition of learning again?
I dont know how English is suddenly a "hard way". Whats hard about it huh Why isnt learning in English fun? Didnt you do it? Was it a torture to you?

And learning is not supposed to be a bed of roses. A challenge is what you need to stretch and grow your mind. Doing easy stuff for the sake of it never helped anybody, especially in this country. In fact thats how we landed ourselves in this problem

Coddling people in backwardness has nothing to do with making learning easier and more accessible. If they cared about learning they would invest in better-trained teachers and better teaching materials

Sure the doctor lost his credentials but I think that was a bit harsh. Thermisol and mercury preservatives in MMR are the components implicated and not the actual attenuated microbes.

The debate isn't about vaccines itself but the preservation and other additives.

Personally, I don't know what anyone has to gain by falsifying research. He was just made a scapegoat to discourage further investigators.
Yes, they were heavy-handed with him because they needed to quash the panic. The pharmaceutical companies and government contractors will not want any bad publicity to affect their profits. Terrible but true

Im not saying that there is definitely nothing wrong but we shouldnt be basing our decisions on unfounded rumours and end up aiding the resurgence of devastating diseases which ought to have been wiped out decades ago.

Why should we still be having polio in this country on top of all the other crazy problems that we are suffering? Unless we want to provide wheelchairs and disabled access to all those afflicted children, we should keep shut and take our vaccine until we ourselves can invent a better one.

You dont know what anybody has to gain by falsifying research? Apart from fame, riches, prizes and adoration for the rest of his days and beyond huh

Yes! They should take fruits. Just 2 or 3 whole fruits!

Not juices packed with the sugar of 25 oranges and bananas!

this is why people are advised to seek professional help when matters like this come up. if this is the advice you give every parent in this situation do u know how many children with developmental issues will be missed simply because of this your advice?
@op it's good you are worried as it is unusual that a child at this age isn't talking. while in most cases it might not be a cause for alarm in certain cases it might point to developmental issues. so I'd advice that u ditch this advice and go see a paediatrician to ascertain that there's nothing wrong b4 u relax and assume everything is fine.
The thing is that babies of this age are supposed to be summoned for regular monitoring for their development and their vaccines. The doctor usually checks for these milestones So I assumed that she already went for check-up but is still doubting the doctors advice

Well I assume so anyway

there's nothing bad to add Hausa just like Yoruba is used in Lagos ...if we must develop in Nigeria our languages is part of it... remember we have other minority languages too... even pidgin can be used to teach too...
like I said stop listening to hear say the day u visit u ll know many things on internet are false... yea every society has issues but over exaggeration is a problem...
You are not really getting me

I didnt say Hausa is bad. If a child doesnt understand something, nothing wrong with explaining it any way you feel like

But normalising native language in place of English for teaching instruction is not a good idea

Yeah! pidgin could be used to help teach. In fact I would definitely enjoy that lesson cool but do you think Delta state should replace English with pidgin for all teaching, exams and textbooks just because all the kids find it easier? Terrible

How is juice sugary? Read the difference between added sugar and natural sugar. Natural sugar is less harmful than added sugar present in soft drinks. Also, what you blend into juice will determine if it will be sugary or not. He should research about low sugar fruits and vegetables. Juicing is the best alternative for her mum. Blend low sugar fruits like strawberry, lemon, oranges and add little high sugar fruit like Banana to make your mum feel that sugar taste.
We are not talking about natural and artificial sugar. We are talking about sugar content.

Juice is sugary. There is a difference between cutting up 2 oranges into pieces and eating and blending plenty of oranges into juice.

One orange just produces just 4 spoons of juice. So how many oranges will it take just to make one bottle? You will be drinking liquid sugar and your case will be a sad one. Drinking the equivalent of 10 or 12 oranges every day, on top of your usual akpu and soup, is a total disaster!

Doctors (and dentists) have been running helter skelter trying to get people to stop taking "smoothies" thinking that they are healthy when in fact they are the worst culprits for high blood sugar. And when you blend fruits you destroy the natural roughage that helps your body to process the excess sugar gradually. Total system overload.

What you're saying can only make sense if the lady agrees just to take one or two glasses of "juice" a day. Does it look like she is going to do that huh

So she's craving sugar? Women experience sugar cravings a lot

Get her to take fresh fruit instead. Be buying it for her and washing and cutting it up for her, put it inside a container with a fork and give her. Somebody down there mentioned honey, a great idea! Drizzle it over the fruit chunks

Dont blend it into juice because juice is very sugary as well. Blending dozens of fruit and drinking it every day is a fast route to Diabetes Central LGA

If it is also an addictive behaviour you can be packing groundnut, seeds, maybe some dark chocolate etc for her to chew and satisfy her oral fixation.

The point of this is to fill her stomach with non-harmful stuff so she wont have space to take unhealthy food. At this point it is an addiction so nagging is not going to work because she wont listen

Well, I largely agree with the bolded, but not sure it wuld apply in this case.

FYI, I worked in mission (hospital) so Im speaking from experience. the truth is, their expectations of staff character is one of charity, selfless service and dedication, hence its no secret such mission organizations dont usually pay too well. so for this new staff to be asking for increase barely a week into her appointment is in direct contrast to what they stand for. I can assure that if this gets to the Archbishop, she will almost certainly be sacked on the spot.

Anyway, the good thing is OP has shown remorse and I'm sure the Sis will come around.
As in, mission hospital is just something else. Even the director will be looking somehow

Yes my friend.
Let's hope you are wrong though.
The Measles mumps rubella vaccine normally given at 12 months has been implicated by some researchers to trigger autism spectrum disorder.

In Europe it's given even earlier.
The person who started (and falsified) that research was disgraced and stripped of his medical credentials almost 10 years ago!

It has side effects and it affects some children badly but theres no evidence yet for a link

This rumour is what the Russians are using to undermine public health and epidemiology in the western world, now UK has lost its measles-free status because everybody there is panicking

But I still agree with you that there may be something sinister going on, I just prefer for there to be actual evidence rather than just scaring people.

We dont have adequate health facilities to deal with resurgence of crazy diseases because people listen to rumours and start panicking. if people stop vaccinating it will be a disaster

Kenya’s opposition leader Raila Odinga on Monday claimed that at least 500,000 young girls and women may be infertile, following a tetanus vaccine administered by the government in 2014 and 2015.

While addressing the media in Nairobi, Odinga said girls and women aged between 14 and 49 from the fastest growing populations in the country will not have children, because of a state-sponsored sterilization exercise that was sold to the country as a tetanus vaccination.

Just use google. Many more examples.
"The aim of the vaccination campaign is to prevent neonatal tetanus in newborns who are the most vulnerable and bear the highest burden of tetanus disease. These children live in the parts of the country with limited access to health facilities — most births occur at home in unhygienic conditions. Some of the babies are born to girls as young as 15 years old from communities living in marginalized areas. Children born at home under unhygienic conditions are at risk of tetanus infection through the cut umbilical cord. Their mothers are also at risk of infection with tetanus infection during childbirth."

"When the vaccines were tested in laboratories which used properly validated test systems, the results clearly showed that the vaccines did not contain hCG. The low levels of hCG-like activity seen in some samples were the result of false positive reactions. In fact, in a laboratory in Hungary, it was shown that the sterile water supply from the local hospital gave a higher false positive level of hCG than did the TT vaccine."

Why?? Parents should know the risks involved when it comes to vaccinations. Right now WHO and other World Organizations are trying to sterilize African babies and children via vaccines and prevent them from having babies in the future. Should I hide that information?? Do you work for them??
Can you please provide some evidence for this claim?

You are disseminating claims that may scare people from getting essential vaccines and children will die and become disabled because of it

There are risks, sure but there are risks to all medications

What you watched there is neither Tiv mamiwater nor Swange, it is called Tsuwe-tsere, a cat dance. It originates from s Tiv hunter who went on a hunting expedition but could not get a game. On his way home, he stumbled over a wild cat, took it home and gave to his wife to prepare. The taste was so great that he decided to celebrate it with his friends he had invited to join him in the meal. You can see the dance steps of the cat , the cat ' face worn as mask and the cat 's head drawn on the dancer's back.
