What the hell are you saying huh
Can't you see her creative prowess huh
Most exceptional creative talents ain't good with inter-human relationships. Get that into your thick skull.
Abeg, this is just an inconsequential curve in the growth phase of OP. Let her move on, jare.
Maybe the guy was too blunt but the essence of what he said was correct. Even non-white collar workers should be able to perform basic administrative tasks in this computer age.

Her issue seemed to be more of a psychological one. She felt inadequate in the role so she didnt have confidence in herself plus the school issue wasnt helping. When its time for her to showcase her artwork in huge exhibitions with so many people, choose an agent and negotiate with art dealers, she will still face the same issue if she doesnt boost her self-esteem.

If she's not good at something she can still improve in the future. Being a creative is not an excuse for failure or lack of improvement.

Stop coddling her, she is not a baby.

People tends to misused kindness to something else sometimes. Ladies suffer it mostly when they appear friendly or too nice to a guy. Before you know it the guy start misinterpreting it to she likes me, she don fall in love, bla bla bla. Well if she is polite enough she can turn him down politely and tell him how he might lose his tips if he continues.
Thank you. theres even a security man I keep seeing but I had to be doing strong-face, even though its not really my nature, to avoid stories like this

Wanting to be treated badly is a fetish but wanting to seriously harm same gender already sounds like a psychological problem
Wanting to hurt another person is sadism which is another fetish.

But his own is coming from a place of trauma rather than just personal preference. So that's what makes it a psychological problem

Na so, everything loud music from giant speakers, smoking, drinking, laughing for no reason, dubious activities in the dark somewhere. Is that supposed to be relaxing? Abeg. What's the difference between those places and motor park or Lagos traffic?

When I was serving I kept asking people where I could just sit and relax...they kept directing me to one hotel or the other...one time I asked somebody where I should go...he said "go to your house na", can you imagine huh

At the end I found one football field at the back of a secondary school. I just sat there and thought of my life lol

Basically you're afraid pointing out the perceived grievance would expose your shallow understanding, hence this prevarication.
What you said there was right but you totally overlooked the bad manners on the doctors part, kind of biased of you

Manage it into the ground abi?

Even the person who was supposed to be looking after the empty building just showed up now after 2 months!

Marotzke:
How will a clinic run without a doctor?
A private clinic is perhaps the smallest and easiest medical practice to operate.
Mostly the patients are out patients.
He requires basically two auxiliary nurses and a receptionist.
Doesn't have to admit patients except for emergencies and discharges them hours later.
So if he has to travel, the facility will be shut.
The story makes perfect sense unless you are confusing a hospital with a clinic.
It's the Nigerian tendency to call even face-me-I-slap-you operations "hospital". When I read that it was two conjoined apartments I knew it was one of those misnomers but people always write the wrong thing.

Yonce:
You can't compare how engineers, architects, police etc interact with and handle human life to the doctor's own role.
Doctors' interactions are more intimate, more scrutinised, definitely more judged. Their actions will always be under a microscope even if the government writes and enforces good policies.
Yeah, you are right about that.

And more respected too, hence the higher expectation on them. Heavy is the head that wears the crown...

But at the same time they can't be expected to work miracles in a faulty system. The patient:doctor ratio in this country is terrible and their workload is too much.

If conditions were more conducive they would do better

In other word, he hire staff when he's around and lay them off when he's jetting out.

This story doesn't make sense at all. undecided except he ran the facility alone which is not even possible undecided
It's possible that they were contract staff.

maybe he went to Brazil at the same time every year so it would be easier to make a seasonal arrangement

or maybe somebody killed him and dumped his body inside the hospital, knowing it would be empty.

The guy who he asked to manage the place only came around now undecided after 2 months. What if the doctor was even paying the man

My comment wasn't intended to bash women.
This incidence is a reminder for both males and females about the risks of being old and alone.

Some females in particular who think that marriage is a sham and can do without men.
My apologies if it initially sounded one-sided.
Okay, thanks.

The last paragraph explained the bold. But what about the hospital staff?
It says that the hospital would be closed whenever he was not around

So basically he was inside there doing God knows what on his own.

He probably came back to check some Equipment, fell ill and died or was bitten by something living in the empty building and died.

Except somebody killed him

It's actually common for people with undiagnosed pain to be given treatment for mental illness. Even abroad they do make that mistake. You just have to keep insisting on it until you get an answer

For you to still be asking this question shows you've not learnt anything about Nigerians.

Your question is just like asking why the Devil is wicked. Are you a learner?

The average Nigerian hates the prosperity of another and doesn't believe he can make it without pulling down someone else.

Is that the kinda person you want to reform? Keep wasting your time oh, the only way Nigerians can learn is through suffering, that's why they respect anyone with a rifle than with words of wisdom...
Hmm..noted...

Didn't do MRI.

I did 2 ultrasounds at separate places including a teaching hospital.

Did endoscopy too.

Could you recommend any yoghurt brand?

Is it different from normal yoghurt? Like Aqua Rapha yoghurt?
Did the doctor use his/her fingers to push your stomach? There's a test they do that tells them where the pain is coming from

It's not that commercial Hollandia yoghurt, it's natural yoghurt with particular bacteria in it.

I think they sell "Activia" brand on Jumia, you can check there

CT is only good for bones and stones. Anyone that tells u he was able to sufficiently see the nerve in CT must be a magician.
US should only be able to pick up stones in the Gall bladder and not the kidneys. Pls let's form the habit of confirming things before we post.
You can't detect a trapped nerve with a CT scan?

Not that you can see nerves. I didn't say that.

I was actually referring to the bladder and not kidney. Otherwise I would have called them kidney stones. Ultrasound can show bladder stones but CT is better for very tiny ones.

Otherwise I think there are some palpation tests the clinician is supposed to do before it gets to all the scanning. And then treat with some analgesic injections (if it's nerve related)

This is more like excluding other possibilities than looking for something in particular

Or what do you suggest?

Did u miss the part she said she would SHOUT what conditions she has. At that point, it's not a conversation anymore but one person being just annoying and difficult to deal with. And if you present yourself in that way, little surprise if you are treated with an attitude.
You have a point. But most of the time when you are polite about it they brush you off as if youre inconveniencing them.

CT is supposed to pick up the nerve (and stones). Have you tried MRI?

Ultrasound should pick up the stones. Have you tried seeking a second opinion?

And have you eaten live yoghurt culture to get your gut flora back to normal after all those antibiotics?

Have you checked your prostate?
