OkpaNsukkaisBae: Israel is just an overhyped military power in ME. If a rag tag militia group can take such time to prepare & invade Israel unaware, I wonder what big boys like Iran & Turkiye will do to them. You can also call US intelligence a rag tag because of 9/11 attacks. When Israel starts unleashing its war arsenal on Hamas, don't come here accusing them of high handedness |

OkpaNsukkaisBae: overrated mossad...even their imaginary god could not give them the intel. Thanks to Zelensky in Ukraine, all eyes were on Russia~Ukraine war. Are you a Nigerian? Calling Mossad overrated? Do you know how Israel has managed to exist though it is surrounded by sworn enemies that want them wiped out from the middle east? Does your own country have any credible military intelligence, for you to call Mossad overrated? |
Foreign Affairs › Re: AU Blames Israeli-Palestinian Conflict On Denial Of Palestinian People’s Rights by mikeapollo: 12:36pm On Oct 09, 2023 |
chronique: Stop sounding like a fool. Go and read history. Israel was created as a state in 1948. Before then, the region was ruled under the British mandate for Palestine which means Palestine existed before the current state of Israel. Before the British took over, it was ruled under the ottoman empire. This is the map of the change that has occurred in that region over time. In the picture, green depicts Palestine and white depicts Israel. I know most of you are emotionally supporting Israel because you think it's a Moslems vs Christian conflict but that is not true. By the way, Christianity in Israel is less than 2 % and Islam 18%. You have more Muslims in Israel than you have Christians. In Palestine you have more Muslims but there are more Christians in Palestine than in Israel. The major religion in Israel is Judaism and they do not believe in Jesus. They actually spit on Christians. So know what you are supporting. The solution to this conflict is creating 2 independent states of Palestine and Isreal side by side. Shallow talk! So there was no ''Israel'' before 1948? Which country is called the Land of Judah in the Bible? Was Jerusalem founded or created in 1948? Tell me which country King David and King Solomon ruled? You decide to start history from 1948 because you don't want to face the real truth! The Arabs only took over the land of the Jews when the Jews were scattered and went into exile. The Land of Judah (Israel) belongs to the Jews. |

Without the support of Russia, North Korea etc. the Arabs cannot face Israel even without the support of US and the western world. IMAGES OF KILLED "ALMIGHTY IDF" ARE ALL OVER THE PLACE.
YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED SHOWING BOMBED BUILDINGS WHICH ARE JUST SOFT TARGETS Hamas is showing pictures of dead Israelis soldiers, as a way to motivate their followers, supporters and make them happy. They are also the ones showing pictures of dead babies to win sympathy. Israel does not need to show anybody any pictures of dead Hamas fighters. At the end of the war, everybody would realize and count their losses. Don't start what you cannot finish! |

UncleKoboko: Okay. The most important thing is, WHAT MEGAWATTS OF ELECTRICITY IS NIGERIA GENERATING AND DISTRIBUTING AT THE MOMENT AND IN YEARS?
Nigeria is such a shameless, USELESS and empty country filled with the most evil, senseless, corrupt and old fool leaders.
South Africa here is producing almost 250,000 megawatts of electricity, while Nigeria claiming giant of Africa can't even produce up 30,000.
THAT MEANS SOUTH AFRICA IS PRODUCING ALMOST X10, IMAGINE!
HOW CAN A COUNTRY SURVIVE AND PROGRESS WITH ELECTRICITY IN THIS MODERN AGE? YET, NIGERIA STILL REMAINS 6TH LARGEST PRODUCER OF CRUDE OIL IN THE WORLD.
WHAT A SHAME! South Africa produces about 50,000 Megawatts. Nigeria produces less than 5,000 Megawatts. |

StOla: How the world watched in the 20th century and let Jews from all over Europe to come settle in Palestine and take land that belonged to the Palestinians, is one of the absurdities of the modern world.
Apart from the land that the zionist Jews bought from Arabs to execute their Aliyah, they also forcefully took over land from the Arabs that was never sold to them as settlers.
The injustice done by the Jews on the Palestinians should be blamed on the UK. So King David, King Solomon etc and other kings and people in the Bible came from Europe to come and settle in Israel (including Jerusalem,)? You people don't want to face the truth and reality ! |

Payunsin: The 14 minority shareholders that went to court has already sold their shares during the last rally. No case to answer again. Shareholders left are like me who is gambling on the long term prospects of Oando. I see N25 in near term If that is the case, then the 14 minority shareholders should officially withdraw the suit from court and kill the buyout offer, otherwise the court would still go ahead and grant Oando the liberty to delist the shares, and that would mean N7.07 per share for everybody. The long term prospects of Oando shares on NGX still depends on the outcome of the court case. |

megawealth01:
The big uncertainty about Oando is the outcome of the court case on Oct10. If the buyout case is withdrawn, or the company decides not to delist, the price would cross the N20 mark. It is strange though that the price is rallying up once again a few days to the court case. Could that mean some insiders know about new developments or something is about to change? |

BabsO2: A clear message from management that they do not want to pursue delisting but prefer to remain listed on the Stock Exchange pending minority voting will be a positive signal. But stuff like not wanting the scrutiny of issuing reports as required for listings sends a very negative message. ( You are right. I am actually guessing that the 14 minority shareholders (if real) may withdraw the case from court and pull the brakes on the delisting. |

BabsO2: Many have entered OANDO in time past with the offers (Rights and PO). Some with serious Odaju (boldness) with their money. Management seem to have destroyed their funds and is not giving good information on progressive use of their funds. It is painful. and I agree that the Oando management has not been very proactive in releasing and managing information about the company. But something still tells me that something drastic could still happen that would favour Oando shareholders....like a die minute positive news! |

Frangel: I saw that last paragraph. It's a text by the author of the notice.
Notice that the order of the court stopped at (v) which determines how the voting approval is got. The Court cannot give any definite order or judgement on the delisting without the minority shareholders voting to decide on the buyout. It can never happen. There are other minority shareholders who must be given the opportunity to decide, otherwise they will also go to court and scuttle the whole process once again. The 14 shareholders cannot represent all millions of minority shareholders and you expect the millions not to express their opinion on the matter through voting. |
