Her marriage couldn't last because of her attitude, can you imagine it lasted for a year the husband can't afford to take her back because of her way world life style she attacks the man with any available weapon around, the man couldn't take it anymore he had to throw her things out of the house.
Since then she has been in our house fighting every one ,the other time she wanted to fight my mom telling her that if time is not taking she will be in the hospital treating her self, Plus so many other things
Most times I just wish I never had a sister. This lady has caused us so much troubles in life, at every small thing she blows the families secret to everyone's ear and the worst part she is a single mother of two boys.
We are just tired of her on a serious note, I have decided to get her arrested and sent to prison if she continues.
I don't know if this is what having a sister means. in my next life I don't wish to have any I will commit murder if her nonsense continues. You are not alone. I have a sister who is probably worse than yours. Mist of these things are not ordinary, but spiritual. I will advise you take your sister to SCOAN or any other chur h you know for deliverance. Peter Obi paid millions to northern schools and even to some countries like Haiti when they had earthquake as far back as 2010 when he was a governor and when he was out office as a governor, he never used such to campaign because it's his personal humanitarian service which is left between him and his God, yet Bola Tinubu is here boasting because of Waec..
Shame !!! Stop talking out of context. I am a fan of Tinubu, but let us appreciate good gestures. How many other governors did what he did with the money if the state? It is not about whether the money was his personal money. It is about having the idea to use the money of the state in a way that benefits the people, and doing it in a way that ensures that every tribe benefits and no-one is discriminated against. |

Greattestman: My mother has been threatening to commit suicide if I won't leave the house for her and her husband to be (my step-father to be). She gave me ultimatum of some days so I decided to call my uncle in the US and told him what was happening, he advised me to leave and get another house and he promised to pay my rent.
Two days ago he sent me 300, 000 Naira and I paid my rent 50, 000. I packed in today but my mother doesn't know my house and I'm planning to cut my mother off my life.
I seriously miss my father. My candid advice is this; Please do not leave or abandon the house for your mother and her new lover if you are very sure the house was built by your father! You would regret if you abandon that house Explain to you mother that you are not against her remarrying or dating someone else after dad's death. But tell her you will never leave your Dad's house for her lover! Meanwhile, find another apartment elsewhere where you can stay on your own, but always come to your father's house daily and whenever you feel like without giving her any notice. But that is temporary because your uncle cannot be paying for your rent permanently. Make sure you take charge of affairs in that house Your mother wants to sell your birthrights away. Imagine what would happen if/when she gives birth;, that means your inheritance will be transfered to the new siblings! This is your fight for you inheritance and indignity. Don't fall for her blackmail. Stand your ground. Avoid having any word/exchanges with the man. But face your mother squarely and be bold and firm ! Otherwise you will lose everything and be called a bastard! |

lajid: Pls I need opinions on the above subject matter.
I want to choose a career path... I would advise you go for a Big 4 firm. The knowledge and exposure you will get is far better than what an investment bank would offer you. Remember that the Big 4 have clients in different sectors and cities across Nigeria. The pay may not be fantastic, but the long-term benefit is great. But you have to be ready to write and pass either ICAN or ACCA. A 5-10 years experience in a Big 4 could catapult you to work anywhere in the world. I know about 10 people from Big 4 firms who now live and work abroad, and were employed directly from Nigeria. Investment banking would be great if only you write and pass the CFA exams. But Nigerian banks are never reliable so you still have to work and pray that you don't get retrenched and laid off. |

NwaIdeato: Lots of exaggerations and falsehoods in your opinion, the only points I agree with from your post is that Ghanaians are more patriotic than Nigerians in the football sense and perhaps in other aspects because of the Nkrumah factor. But as regards to your submission about Ghana being better than Nigeria in hogwash, I call that a bunch of hogwash. Yes, maybe Ghana have had the better of the encounters between both nations (at least recently), but prior to Ghana beating Nigeria for the first time in the thr 1992 AFCON, the Brentford friendly game and the two AFCONs that followed (2008 and 2010 AFCON), Nigeria always beat Ghana in previous encounters when we had a much more better team. Ghana wasn't that good in the early 2000's when they suffered a decline. Remember Ghana only qualified for their first ever world cup in 2006, meanwhile Nigeria had been to more world cups since 1994 (only next to Cameroon). But I do agree that Ghana had somewhat of a better head-start and foundation in football ahead of Nigeria right before their independence.
Nigeria has won several international and continental trophies at all levels of football perhaps more than Ghana, but considering our population and pedigree, I'll admit that Nigeria has massively underachieved compared to Ghana. You want to argue about footballing prowess between Ghana and Nigeria? Do you know when Ghana defeated Nigeria 7-0?! Ghana had won 4 Africa Nations Cup as far back as 1982 when Nigeria had only 1! Ghana has beaten Nigeria more than any other team in the world! Ghana went down in the 1980s because of economic and political downturns and had even withdrawn from the Libya 1982 Nations Cup. The govt of Libya (under Gaddafi) had to sponsor them and catered for their expenses. Ghana eventually beat Libya in the final to win their 4th Nations Cup. Again, they pulled out after the 1984 edition and only reappeared in 1992. They have been to the final of the Nations Cup on about 9 occasions, more than Nigeria. On several occasions, Ghana used their local homebased players to play against Nigeria's best foreign based professionals in Lagos in Nations Cup qualifiers and we could not beat them. Even at Tunisia 1994, Nigerians were praying for Cote de'voire to beat them so we could avoid them in the semi-final, because we were scared of them. The fear of Abedi Pele was the beginning of wisdom for Nigerian defenders! Nigeria was very successful between 1994-2000, but football encounters between the 2 countries started long before then. Go and ask people like Segun Odegbami, Christian Chukwu, etc. who played against Ghana....they would tell you about Ghana. You can even google some of Odegbami's articles about football between Ghana and Nigeria |

NwaIdeato: How come the Hausas in Ghana are so good at football with the likes of Kudus, Salisu, Muntari, Baba Rahman etc but the ones we have here in Nigeria just don't excel in football save for a few like Babangida? same thing for the fulani players in Mali, Guinea, Senegal etc that produce some really good footballers...but the ones here in Nigeria, the fulani we have choose to live in bushes like wild animals and kill people at will. Honestly, we really got the wrong end of the bargain as a nation, if Igbos had their own country, we should be competing with some of the best teams in the world considering how most of Nigerias best players have typically come from the East- Kanu, Okocha, Mikel Obi, Amunike, Celestine Nwoha (Babayaro) etc, we need to divide Nigeria honestly. It is because Ghana is generally a better footballing nation than Nigeria. They get to learn football techniques very early in age because of the street football (which they call gutter-to-gutter_ and monkey post football where the emphasis is more on how to out manouvre your opponent. So they grow up being more skillful. and it shows in their ability on the ball. Ghanaians are also more patriotic and passionate about their country because of the influence of Kwame Nkrumah. In the past, many Ghanaians came from Ghana to play for the Green Eagles in the 1980s. e.g Leotis Boateng and Sam Benson. There wer also Nigerians that played for the Black Stars but they were born and bred in Ghana e.g the Olabode brothers and Kayode brothers |

People should learn. Money makes people to take things for granted. It s not everything that one could afford, that is desirable. And if you must do it, do it with great caution! Swimming pool in a house should not be something that everybody should have easy access to, especially kids. The pool area should have a barricade / mini fence that is high enough to prevent kids from accessing the place. People want to live like Europeans and American, but forget that most of these westerners do not live with many kids in their homes. D'Banj, Sammy Kuffour (former Ghanaian footballer) also lost their kids to swimming pools in their houses! |

That is the bitter truth. Ghana does not have it but Nigeriacpied their Highlife music. Fela went there to learn Highlife/Afrobeat in the 1960s. Current Nigerian musicians including Mr. Eazi, Wande Coal, PSquare, Wizkid, Davido, Olamide, Smi, Tiwa, Yemi Alade, etc. all have been copying Ghanaian rap, highlife, hiplife and Azonto beats like crazy. |

mrvitalis: Funny thing is Ghana was on it way around 2010 to 2013 when they had their dancehall beats in all Nigerians parties then they had inferiority complex and started to copy Nigeria
For years Nigerians tried to sound like black Americans in music blacky , rugged man , mode 9 , Sasha p , style plus ...but we never made any headway ...till be stock to what we liked and made it popular
Look at south Africa amapiano today ...you can't go to Nigerian night clubs without hearing it
That's how you grow stick to what you enjoy sooner or later people would understand why you enjoy it then join you Big ups to you for your comments. The truth is, Ghana has had the biggest influence on Nigeria music, right from the days of highlife to the current, so called''Afrobeats''. Fela Kuti traveled to go and live in Ghana for 2 years so he could join a band called Hedzolleh and learn Afrobeats. He became the most successful because he stuck to it while most others experimented with it. The biggest Afro band from Africa is a Ghanaian band called Osibiasa. Most of the sounds, rhythms, melodies and beats/progressions in most of the so-called Afrobeats nowadays are copied from Ghana Highlife, Hiplife, Azonto, Alkaeda etc. They are the originators of putting rap over highlife tunes, which is dominant today in Afrobeats. Many Nigerian musicians have acknowledged that. But Nigeria has the population numbers and the market which are important for promotion, so we can push our songs farther and in mush bigger . Nigerian musicians also sing in English/pidgin which helps to promote their songs, while Ghanaians sing more in their local dialects. |

ASUU should go and lock National Assembly complex instead of locking schools for average Nigerians. They've been going on strike for decades yet nothing is happening. No matter how you look at it or how you think it, Nigerians are not the only Africans in Ukraine. But Nigerians are the only ones calling and they're not just calling for themselves alone, because if you watch the video you see everything they're saying is about the blacks/African unjust treatment.
Now their voices have been heard and other Africans from Ukraine are buying the Nigerian flag in Poland for €7 in order to identify as Nigerians.
Remember. Those who has someone to call unto, in time of distress call for help. And those who do not have anybody to call, never bother to call because no one will hear them.
God Bless Nigeria
Don't get it twisted! The stranded immigrants wanted anything that would enable them have safe passage and escape from being caught in the war. Rather, the Nigerian flag was available and Nigerians used the opportunity to exploit other Nigerians and non-Nigerians by selling the flag to make money. Any other country's flag e.g. Kenya, S/Africa, etc. would have been rushed for the same purpose if available..
