lightblazingnow: http://newtelegraphonline.com/news/ambode-converts-mobil-oando-filling-stations-bus-terminal/ This is NOT a wise move. 1. Those filling stations are private properties of people/organizations. It makes no sense to destroy businesses because you want to build motor parks. Some people would lose their jobs because of this. This would also affect Mr Biggs 2. From experience, motor parks that are built very close to junctions/roundabouts end up creating more traffic and confusion. 3. If the governor is not being lazy, he should look for other locations where he can build motor parks. After they have sold all the lands to themselves, they are now looking for how to takeaway lands from private businesses in order to develop the state. The last govt. under Fashola destroyed people's shops and foolishly used the spaces to plant flowers. 4. They should look for land to build more motor parks and leave private businesses alone |

shukuokukobambi: For the umpteenth time, Postbusta just explained to you. That plane wasn't flying at any low altitude!!! Jeez. Why is it so difficult for you to understand??
See the pictures from his post. That plane was thousands of feet in the air and hundreds of kilometers away!! Also, a plane travels at hundreds of kilometers per hour to generate the power needed to keep it in the air so it can't hover close to a low 6story building cos it'll crash!!! Stop sipping the kool aid from TB and FFK!!! Military planes can hover around a building. They don't have to travel at hundreds of kilometers per hour to do that. Have you seen military planes hovering in the air and dropping off soldiers going for battle? Some countries even demonstrate this scenario during military parades. Stop thinking that commercial planes and military planes have the same design and functionality! Military planes are usually not as big a commercial planes. And as per the sizes in the picture, you need to know that the size of objects in a picture will be influenced by the distance between the objects and camera. The nearer to the camera, the bigger the object looks! |

PostBusta: Sir,
FFK has nothing to say. His future opinion is null and void.
Pls look at the picture attached. The small red circle shows the supposed plane just before the building went down and the bigger circle a bus on the road. The bus is obviously close to the building as it's size shows. Abeg why is the plane that flew right over the building looking like an ant in the video?
FYI, the plane is probably 200-300 times bigger than the bus. FFK should answer my question, why is the plane looking like it's flying far away over Ogun State?...lol
Picture 2 shows what a plane flying over a building looks like.
Case closed You are ignorant of the different types of planes and their functions! You are comparing the size of a commercial plane that carries hundreds of passenger to the size of a military plane that may be designed to carry only a few people. There are military planes that can carry only 2 pilots but they can destroy a whole town. It is not the size, it is the nature of assignment that matters. Why not ask the reason a military plane was hovering around residential building about 4 times in less than 30 minutes? |

PostBusta: This man shouldn't be given all these attention on social media. He is trying to score cheap political and religuous points. When he eventually talks, his explanation wont make one sense....I can bet.
Anyone familiar with the area knows that it is very close to the airport and planes fly really close to buildings uncountable times daily during take off and landing. Why havent all the buildings around Egbeda, Akowonjo n environs collapsed? This is just a lame excuse for a poor structure that collapsed due to low quality materials used. We went to school to have sense but this FFK went to school to lose sense. The location of the church doe not lie in the in-bound flight-route. If at all you would see a plane in that area, it would be an out-bound plane(going outside Nigeria) flying from the international airport and it will be flying at very high altitude and almost disappearing into to skies. No local plane flies around the Idimu- Igando- Ikotun axis because they axis is not in the in-bound. I have lived in Akowonjo-Egbeda for 20 years. The only place that experience flight is the Cement-Mangoro-Santos Estate axis because they lie in the In-bound route through which planes fly into the airport. The SCOAN does not lie in the in-bound route. And international flights going outside the country do not fly at low altitudes around Ikotun, so what is a local plane doing at that low altitude around a church building? |
Politics › Re: 'The Plane that Brought Down The Synagogue Building Targeted TB Joshua' - FFK by mikeapollo: 9:03am On Feb 28, 2017 |
People should give some thoughts to FFK's comments before they dismiss him.
Just consider these factors/facts: 1. FFK is a former Minister of Aviation. He definitely has loyalists, contacts and informants in the ministry who can always release classified info to him. 2.The incident happened during Jonathan's tenure and we know FFK and Jonathan are friends. Hence, this is not an idea of FFK fighting against an APC or Buhari govt. 3. FFK knows the implications of his comments. Sometimes, it takes some defiant characters like FFK to make controversial remarks/revelations which may or may not turn out to be truth. 4.Since the incident happened, no official report has been released by the aviation industry. Everybody in that industry and even the military have all kept quiet. This is very strange considering the fact that over 100 lives were lost. The lawyer representing SCOAN demanded that the investigating team should pay a visit to the aviation towers at the airport so that they could take records and readings of all flights on that fateful day of 14-Sep-2014 in order to ascertain the involvement of the aircraft(as alleged by the church) but that request was turned down! Very strange!
In view of the above, it is just proper to wait and see what FFK would bring out before we dismiss his opinion. He may be right, and he may be wrong! |

JAYTUNEZ: The Nigeria music industry is the fastest growing in the continent and has produced countless amount of top new acts in the past two years that the guys below have been missing. Kiss Daniel, Adekunle Gold, Simi, Mayorkun, Dremo, Ycee, Niniola, Aramide are slowly pushing these guys into oblivion unless they drop a hit song soon...they include..
1. Chidinma -- Has slowly gone under the radar in the past 2 years and her recent song, 'Fallen In Love' was not enough to bring her back to the limelight.
2. D'Prince -- Last year was a struggle for him as none of his music release even got any attention for a minute. Desperate measures need to be employed to awaken his redundant music career.
3. Kcee -- It’s an old gist that Harrysong helped revive his lukewarm career, maybe that's why they went through hell, to get him back into their label.
4. Banky W -- He has managed to remain relevant not for his music but for his recent role in 'Wedding Party'. But he needs a quick hit track before we all start referring to him as Nollywood actor.
5. Ice Prince -- From a BET award to an EP that could not sell past his doorsteps, another fellow that is in desperate need of attention before he follows Edris, Ruggedman and Mode 9 down memory lane.
6. Waje -- One of the most talented vocalist in the country is slowly getting swept under the carpet by the emergence of Simi, Aramide and Niniola.. Hit track in 2017 or another Nollywood star in the making
7. D'banj: if its Don Jazzy missing link or his koko Garri business has been distracting him... Nigerians don't want to hear.. If D'banj doesn't drop a hit track better than Emergency this year, we are throwing a surprise retirement party...shikena!!
8. Dr Sid -- The weakest link in Mavin Records is now a video director and with his Dentist degree in the bag, he can easily diversify unless he has one more hit track up his sleeves.

We haven't had #PHCN power for more than 30hrs in the last one year, the cost of running generators is neck breaking. In a new interview with Sound City‘s Moet Abebe, Falz said he recently went holidaying in Kenya with a group of friends, and at the airport, was treated with the worst discrimination he had ever experienced.
“We were about getting into the airport..in Kenya. The [immigration] sent us to go to the side [along] with Nigerian people [and] they just kept on saying ‘cyber crime! internet fraud!,” Falz revealed.
“It was disgraceful. It was extremely shameful. Obviously, it is discrimination. Because I’m Nigerian, you automatically think I am a cyber criminal?”

A country that can't protect her citizens within its own territory, how do you expect it to influence or persuade other sovereign countries to protect her citizens abroad?
Next, check out the preferential treatments SA owned companies receive in Nigeria, and you begin to wonder! MTN makes its biggest revenue in Africa from Nigeria.
Almost 80% of big business holdings in SA are owned by whites. These blackheads can't seek for legitimate means of breaking through to own and control a significant portion of it. Its the small, street side businesses run by hardworking migrants from neighboring countries and fellow blacks that they always vent their frustrations upon. You have missed out the MOST IMPORTANT aspect of this whole issue: Nigerian must be lawful and conduct themselves well in foreign countries! PERIOD! You cannot be lawless and engage in criminal activities like drugs, frauds and expect to be left alone. We Nigerians should ask ourselves why other nationals like Ghanaians, Kenyans, etc are not being attacked! |

Present day Nigerian so called ''hip hop, afro pop,'' sounds are not ONLY influenced by Ghana's azonto and Alqaeeda beats. In fact they are copy cats of the Ghanaian beats! Go listen to beats pioneered by Sarkodie, Guru, Joey B, Shatta Wale etc and you would know! Have you wondered why no single Nigerian musician or producer has guts to challenge or contradict what Mr Eazi said? It is only ignorant fans that are making noises. No Nigerian producer or musician will say a word against Mr Eazi because virtually all of them are either traveling to Ghana or sampling the works of Ghanaian musicians or producers in their studios. The truth stands! Jamaica gave reggae to the whole world even though the country is less than 10million in popluation! If you play reggae beats today, even if your population is 1billion, you are being influenced by Jamaican creativity! Same for Ghanaian Azonto, Alqaeeda tunes. A Nigerian with Ghanaian passport, Chigozie Francis Christopher, is under lock and key in India for allegedly possessing 11 grams of cocaine illegally. According to the Central Crime Branch of India, the 37-year-old was nabbed on Monday at a town called Lobo Lane in Mallikatte upon a tip-off as Christopher was hunting for customers for the cocaine. The police said in a statement that Christopher “came to India on a business visa two years ago and continued to stay in India illegally. In the past few months, he came to the city from Goa a couple of times to sell cocaine to customers here”. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime and Traffic) M. Sanjeev Patil said the quantity of cocaine seized from Christopher was the highest seized by the city police so far. Three months ago, Mangaluru South police had arrested a Nigerian national for alleged illegal possession of four grams of cocaine. Mr. Patil said investigation is still ongoing to find other persons allegedly involved with Christopher in the illegal sale of cocaine. Corruption, incompetent cabinet, wasting resources, poor performance are some of the things levelled against his government. They rate him way below John Kufuor. The Ghanaians that you are speaking with are the members or supporters of the opposition. Kuffour is the most corrupt president In Ghana's history. His corruption scandals are endless, including Wiki-leaks exposure of his ill gotten wealth stashed in the Caribbean etc. He is the only Ghanaian president in history that gave himself a national award as a sitting president. He spent 8 years in office, did not build any new hospital, no new university, did just a few kilometers of road. Did redenomination of the Cedi but there are records or trace of where, when and how much the old currency notes was destroyed. He dubiously acquired numerous state properties unto himself and his cronies etc. This current President Mahama has built at least 3 major hospitals, he has built a medical school for the University of Legon, built a new university, several hundreds of kilometers of roads, new secondary schools, etc All the shouts of corruption and incompetence are orchestrated by the opposition NPP for political gains because they control most of the media houses in Ghana. |
