agaugust: reason why i call you papa ajascoFacts PLEASE,stop crumbling like your malls "Early reports from sources in the area indicate that the action was successful, with the Rooivalks’ tactical approach through the clouds taking the M23 defenders by surprise and their rocket fire being accurate enough to disperse them and destroy one of the 14.5 mm anti-aircraft guns" |
rka1: Oh my!. It must really be frustrating to you that Nigeria hasn't crumbled and BH taken overCan't afford training? You're saying this while exercise Seboka is ongoing? FOO.L.... I don't think you've seen this. READ this quote out loud not forgetting to add OOOOO after every word "Early reports from sources in the area indicate that the action was successful, with the Rooivalks’ TACTICAL APPROACH THROUGH THE CLOUDS taking the M23 defenders by surprise and their rocket fire being accurate enough to disperse them and destroy one of the 14.5 mm anti-aircraft guns" |
drag_on: A small side track,India sends Satellite to MARS for just $40 million, from a $75 million dollar Mars program, cheaper than Gareth Bale. The USA has a rover in Mars. I think they're just putting it on China's face that we are the first around this continent to put a satellite in Mars. |
agaugust: The Nigerian FH-77Bs and the original Indian FH-77Bs had a parallel pepperpot muzzle brake but, following trials with the more recent ammunition types, including HEER used with charge 9, a new and more efficient muzzle brake of the double-baffle type was developed. This was fitted to late production FH-77Bs and has now been retrofitted to earlier weapons. You might have the range but ask the SANDF what learnt in Angola. You need target fixation, you can fire shells at 60km but without hitting your intended targets. That's why the SANDF uses drones and Ratels to select targets. Nigeria artillery pieces can be useless cause South Africa's Oryx helo can jam your communication posts in the field. Leaving them to be destroyed by air strikes from Hawks and Griffins. |
agaugust: nigerian army Bofors FH-77 B05 L52 artillery gun with 60km rangeThe G6 can put a shell precisely 70km away. Your 60km is nothing new to us. |
agaugust: south african army is fighting in Congo DRC under protection of Tanzanian army, and many other armies from about 15 countries of the world including Europe and Asia, that is why south african army agreed to fight in Congo DRC....they hide behind the courageous armies from other countries sent by the UN.Other armies within MONUSCO are not fighting only SANDF,TPDF,WDF are fighting. And this battalions fight in different fronts. I gave you the proof months ago. |
agaugust: Half-French south african Rooivalk helicopter gunship, never tested in any battle, never killed one single cockroach since the day it was madeThe Rooivalk caused the M23 to disarm, after a single mission by the BEST ATTACK HELICOPTER www.africandefence.net/after-23-years-rooivalks-fire-first-shots-in-drc/ |
chris365: actually, the fight is over. Congolese army have taken M23 last stronghold. so once again their roviaak is useless. they were busy painting the scrap when the fighting was intenseM23 disarming after the Rooivalk, hits them HARD!!!!! Confirmed now. http:///XawMpSv9OD |
agaugust: Chad and Cameroon were always supplied with France's weapons, go google their military equipment, almost all French weapons.South Africa and its Tanzanian& Malawian allies crashed #M23http:///bprbHR5YrR. The Rooivalk is in action from yesterday. |
agaugust: .And I'm titled the world's worst diplomat. And I suffered or lost hundreds of my men at the hands of parabats. I failed to defeat them and begged for a ceasefire. |
agaugust: answer us in one word only, did south africa defeat tiny cuba in that bush war ? yes or no ? answer usYes. |
agaugust: .....and one of the LEAST experienced in naval combat1. South Africa is only country in Africa that has sunk a submarine. 2. The South Africa navy submarines have been used to insert special forces. 3. South Africa No navy on the continent comes close in experience 4. South Africa's navy is the only navy in Africa to sink an entire NATO warships in an exercise. 5. Pirates don't come close to South Africa area of influence in the ocean 6. South African warships can be fitted with homemade offensive weapons......Any country in Africa to counter SAN's successes. |
agaugust: your male Gripen jet pilots cannot fly with guarantee, you are now talking about female Gripen jet pilot, that must be the cook/chef that prepares food for the real pilots...i mean the half pilots that you haveYour master Pakistan has a female fighter pilot too. The point here is SAAF has more pilots than you thought..... https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BRm1BdCCcAAzzKF.jpg |
chris365: simple yes or no would have sufficed instead of this your tiring blab. shall we also say nations that lost wars are to be feared cos they fought against tanks, fighter jets etc.. ? please grow some senseIt seems like you're suffering from some rare brain disorder. Countries that lost wars have experience, ask the British when they went back to Iraq. The Iraqis learnt from the 1991 war how to protect their tanks against air strikes. Answer this is Angola,Cuba,SWAPO under the advice of the USSR an easy foe?......Cuba didn't need experience all they needed was troops, cause the USSR supplied them with quality latest systems. Both Cameron and Chad don't or didn't have an weapons industry or an ally to supply them with Tanks, jets,APCs and artillery...Ask the Cubans maybe what happened when they meet South Africans during the Battle of cassinga......Soon you gonna have tp ask how many rebels have the Rooivalks killed, cause as of yesterdays atleast one helo was in Goma. |
Henry120: No. He should bail out your broke and grounded SAAF, and retrain your 6 gripen pilots.Saab trained 6 Gripen pilots for SAAF. Most graduated in SA with,SAAF even has the first female Gripen pilot. South Africa was ready to fight a force equipped with those T-72s,Cuba had them in Angola. |
zaandrew: Since when did money equal power? Is he more power full than obama?Speaking of Obama. There's actually a school in Nigeria named Barrack Obama. |
agaugust: nigeria has four ATR-42 Surveyor aircraft and south africa has NOTHING equal to such a modern maritime military aircraft, go d.i.e of envyThe South African navy is most advanced in AFRICA. That maritime surveillance air craft is not helping with curbing piracy. Those electronics are not used for Electronic warfare, stuff like listening and jamming radars and communication. |
agaugust:South Africa knows the capabilities of almost half of your arsenal,we destroyed/captured large quantities them.......Asking that shows you're stu'pid, you don't understand the complexity of that war. Cuba was supplied with the best or newest soviet of weapons. All they ever needed was troops. |
agaugust: you are now crowned as the Papa Ajasco of nairalandLet's talk facts. If tell you something you better counter it with real facts/information not this bad jokes. |
agaugust: south african military has never fought against 99% of nigerian military weapons.FACTS ONLY!!!!!.. "The First Ambush On the afternoon of 27 September 1985, around 1600hrs, a signal from a SAAF or UNITA reconnaissance team posted near the Cuito Cuanavale airfield was received at Rundu, informing the South Africans about two Mi-24s getting airborne and turning towards the combat zone. Immediately, the Impalas were scrambled to intercept. Almost half an hour later, the wingman of the second pair, Maj. Pine Pienaar, sighted the helicopters above him, underway at approximately 700m. Being in the more favourable position for an attack, Pienaar - imitated a climb towards the rear Mi-24, reached a position above it and attacked. A burst of fire from cannons hit the rear fuselage of the Mi-24, causing fire. The helicopter started to dive and the pilot initiated a controlled descent, firing all his unguided rockets off before jettisoning all containers for these in order to make his machine lighter. Meanwhile, the leader of the Impala-pair, Capt. Leone Mare, attacked the second helicopter that initiated a steep descent. Mare began a quarter attack approaching from bellow and the side. The Soviet pilot turned through 180° and was in nose- down attitude, continuing to descent. Capt. Mare opened fire from a range of 500m, pulling 4-5 gs and firing 19 rounds that hit the starboard fuselage of the target, bellow the main rotor gear box. A panel separated from the Mi-24, the nose of the helicopter suddenly dropped directly towards the ground and rotor blades separated under the stress.. The Hind then turned, going into a tail slide, hit the ground and exploded. Meanwhile, Maj. Pienaar repositioned for a second attack on his target and opened fire. Rotor blades separated and the helicopter crashed into the ground nose-high, exploding on impact. Both Impalas immediately dropped on a low altitude in order to evade any potential MiGs, and escaped back to Rundu without any further incidents." |
forumcitizens: The Nigerian Army.Yes,the Nigerian army lacks experience, quality equipment, weapons industry to back them plus an air force to protect their heads. |
agaugust: south african military has never fought against 99% of nigerian military weapons.I'll hit your blue balls so hard. South Africa faced the APR-40 rocket launchers, during the 1970s period of the war, some were captured inspiring SA designs. Your ATR-42 is a maritime surveillance craft and Nigeria only has one. The F7 I proved it to you that it is a chinese copy of the MIG-21,which SAAF downed in Angola. The Soviet Union had spy satellites focused on South Africa, they even detected an area meant for a nuclear test. I won't talk about artillery cause the G5,G6 and G7 are the best in world,Nigeria has nothing to counter them. SANDF can take anything Nigeria can throw at !!! Check this quote about the MI-24/35. "Angolan Air Force in 1985 In preparation for this offensive the Angolan Air Force – FAPA-DAA – was reinforced by supplies of soome 20 MiG-21bis, ten Su-20s, as well as approximately 30 Mi-25s and Mi-8s. The Angolan Air Force was – especially for African circumstances – a modern, battle-proven and actually a self-sufficient force, with 7.000 personnel and some 180 aircraft and helicopters, organized in six regiments, of which three were to participate in the operation, including two equipped with fighter-bombers and one with combat helicopters. At the time these three units have nominally controlled five squadrons, but for their participation in the Second Congress each has got at least one additional unit. The helicopter regiment operated a Soviet-manned squadron of Mi-24s, a Cuban-manned squadron of Mi-35s, and a “mixed”, Soviet/Cuban/Angolan-manned squadron of Mi-8s and Mi-17s; one fighter regiment has had two Cuban-manned squadrons of MiG-21s, and an Angolan MiG-21 unit, while the other had a Soviet-manned “special” MiG-21 squadron, an Angolan MiG-17-unit, and a Soviet- Angolan Su-20-unit." |
agaugust: nigerian technicians have been trained fully in pakistan so we now fully maintain all our F-7 jets 100% at home in nigeria, we even started locally manufacturing some of its electrical spare parts.NO Griffin,NO A109 is grounded. Anyone can manufacture parts of that old jet. Even is SAAF was paralysed, your Nigerian air force won't be any close..........SAAF or the SA army dealt with almost all the weapons in Nigeria's arsenal during the bush war systems like the T-55,MIG-21,AA guns and many of Nigeria's soviet era artillery and rocket launchers. Even the AK47!!!!!! Now check this link www.iol.co.za/news/south-africa/hawks-gripens-thrill-polokwane-crowds-1.1598341 |
agaugust: Gripen jet too is a copy of year 1955 swedish Draken jet.Stop avoiding the fact that SAAF shoot down the MIG-21s with cannon fire. South Africa can take anything Nigeria can throw at it. While your forces would perish under real fire, which you have never seen. YOU CAN READ RIGHT? Then read this quote "In 1979, the Swedish government began development studies for an aircraft capable of fighter, attack and reconnaissance missions to replace the Saab 35 Draken and 37 Viggen. A NEW DESIGN from Saab was selected and developed as the JAS 39, first flying in 1988. Following two crashes during flight development and subsequent alterations to the aircraft's flight control software, the Gripen entered service with the Swedish Air Force in 1997." A NEW DESIGN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
NaijaPikinGidi: You really need deliverance! You really need a brain. |
agaugust: nigeria has more money in dollar cash reserves than south africa, we can buy enough weapons to level south africa to the ground with our $60 billion cash resrves in the event of war. so shut up dudeFrom China?.......South Africa would modern missiles from Sweden,France,German,USA and Britain..........You can't buy weapons without operators(pilots and other stuff).....We can even manufacture real offensive weapons like cruise missiles and long range missiles. |
agaugust: not in a hurry to buy a super jet....remember the expensive Jaguar jet experience, $300 million wasted in 1983.South Africa flown its Mirages with sanctions on. Even developing the Cheeter from the Mirage air frame...."wetin" your pants? |
agaugust: you eyes dont see beyond your nose. The SU-27 carries a lot of missiles. It doesn't fire one missiles at a jet but a salvo of two missiles. Nigeria has 12 F7s each with five hard points, well the SU-27 has like 10 hard points to carry missiles like ----» en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vympel_R-73. ......The SU-27 is even capable of pulling that cobra manoeuvre, six SU-27 each with 10 hard points for air to missiles(60 missiles) can wipe out your entire air force. |
agaugust: "Ground attack missionsI quoted this from your link "The J-7 fighter aircraft is a copy of the Russian MiG-21."........months ago you said "the MIG-21 obsolete against SAAF's Mirage F.1CZ during the war..".......Here's SAAF's encounter with this dinosaur,we even know its capabilities. "However, both Angolan and Cuban MiG-21s often had encounters with South African Air Force Mirages. On 6 November 1981, Major Johann Rankin, flying a Mirage F.1CZ, scored the SAAF's first kill since the Korean War, downing the MiG-21MF of Lt. Danacio Valdez. On 5 October 1982, a SAAF Mirage IIICZ damaged a MiG-21MF with cannon fire, but the MiG managed to return to base safely.[1] The SAAF acquired a MiG-21bis from the Angolan Air Force No. 340 through defection and the aircraft currently resides on display at the South African Air Force Museum, Swartkops Air Force Base in Pretoria." |
NaijaPikinGidi: Mike..ZA ... nice way to recoil into your confused skin! It's convenient to hide in the shadow of Military talk yet could open your mouth to vomit careless and ignorant assertions? Henry120 ... your maturity too much ... I mean the calm and intelligent way you have poked this kid back into his tiny ignorant corner.I don't wanna eat yum Igbo boy. I just like talking about facts not some rubbi'sh,If you're going to talk "trash" I'll reply with trash. But if you bring in facts,we'll have a "matured debate"...........Not some "Rooivalk is crap" when I ask you to prove it,you reply by saying "It is using french engines",forgetting you're flying the super puma...Even the Abrams MBT uses a German Rheimental 120mm gun. |
chris365: Dreamer boy. I thought grippen was a light attack jet. So what makes it better than Egypt and morroco's F-16 jets. Uganda, Sudan and Algeria have more better fighter jets and attack hellicopters than SAAF so stop dreaming.I might be a dreamer boy. But I'm not stup'I'd. Egypt and Morocco are in sub-saharan Africa?....The Griffn carry precision weapons to make up for its small weapons load,it is a multi-role war plane it can do recce missions and can swing between roles without having to head back to base. This jet gives commanders a serious flexibility,it can overtake many missions in a single sortie giving commander "REAL TIME" situation awareness. On the issue all countries in sub-saharan Africa fly Soviet era attack helicopters, the MI-24/35 to be exact,South Africa even upgraded Algeria's Hinds remember Aerosud was formed by people from the Rooivalk project.....Foreign purchases are not a prove of how good a weapon system is. How many countries operate the F-22 jets, the spirit bomber,Merkeva MBT,The Virginia class submarine,Iron dome air defence system,Gotland class submarine,Leclerc MBT,G6 howitzer and Mokopa missile?......What you don't know is that weapon purchases include politics, don't you wonder why Nigeria is looking to the east when in need of new systems...................Lastly here's quote for you,Sweden studied the F-16 "One ambition was for the aircraft to be smaller than the Viggen while either improving or equalling its payload-range characteristics.[6] Early proposals included the Saab 38, also called B3LA, intended as an attack aircraft and trainer,[7] and the Saab A 20, a development of the Viggen that would have capabilities as a fighter, attack aircraft and sea reconnaissance aircraft.[8] Several foreign designs were also studied, including General Dynamics F-16 Fighting Falcon, the McDonnell Douglas F/A-18 Hornet,[9] the Northrop F-20 Tigershark and the Dassault Mirage 2000.[10] Ultimately, the Swedish government opted for a new fighter to be developed by Saab" |
chris365: True. But how Israel flew past sudan'sradar and bombed their territory, flew back without being intercepted makes me wonder the air worthiness of their advanced air crafts or efficiency of sudan's air force. Just my opinion shaAnd Israel doesn't have radar evading stealth jets. They bombed a weapons factory. |
