mrflow1: Hello people,
I can't seem to get a free date at ikeja TLS for visa appointment. If I pay flexi, does the mean I can go any date and anytime?
Thank you so much For the flexi, it seems you still have to select an available prime time. If you select a graded out time, it will advise if you want to go premium. And that's additional payment. Those guys are just making a ton of money from Naija. It's all sales drive. |

HRprof: First of all I’m trying to correct a mistake of you calling TLS embassy they are both different.
Meanwhile Nigerian work at TLS as visa application collection centre so anything can happen with those Nigeria worker with visa agent. Hustle is in our blood even when we know the risk involved we don’t care
When I applied French visa via VFS Abuja a staff of VFS gave me his contact codedly because they are not allowed to do so after I called days later I realize he is into visa agent. You are right. Some of those guys do runs with appointment slots as well. You can't get appointment online, reach out to them, they'll sort you out. Naija call it smartness, but its actually unethical and fraudulent. They'll keep getting emboldened until getting a slot becomes hard just like that of US visa. |

EmirOfBodija: Hi all,
Please I need kind advice on the visit visa application my mum. I have filled everything about trip and I have also noted I will sponsor her trip with 2500 GPB.
In the section about her trip, I put 20k NGN as the money she will spend as she’s unemployed. I want to ask if it’s important to submit her statement of account or just leave it out cos she took about 135k out last month and might raise concerns. Note: her previous application was rejected due to the statement issue not having any credit during the period we used.
Thanks. They also want to know her financial circumstance in her home country. If you can accurately demonstrate this without a bank statement, then it may fly. But the ECOs primarily rely on bank statement to demonstrate financial standing. Moreover, you want to state she'll spend 20k on her own. How will you demonstrate evidence that she has 20k? |

sanyaolurilwan: Just to give an update.
I entered France yesterday night via Orly Airport, Paris from London, and I wasn't asked to provide any documents at the POE, I was only asked 2 things: I should show him my visa and where I was coming from. He took my fingerprint and stamped my passport. That's all.
Maybe I wasn't asked for documents because I came in from London.
Thanks. The experience is usually different. Depends on the official, their mood, the arrival time, how they profile the visitor at first glance, etc. Both times I've entered the schengen area territory from Naija direct, I was not asked anything. Save when one guy opened to an expired visa and was looking and looking and I had to refer him to the area of the passport where the new visa is stamped. |

I’m going to Paris in May and from there to London. I have a UK sim but I don’t think it would work in Paris so I need something to communicate as I can’t always rely on public WiFi to use whatsapp and other social media while out of the hotel You can buy Euro sim at the airport. Or download this app, AIRALO, and use it with the esim feature of your phone, if your phone has such. All you need to do is recharge and you are good to go afterwards. Before recharging in dollars, ensure you phone has the esim feature, otherwise money otilo be that. Lol |

sasho9ja: Congratss to all who got their visas
Pls i have a few questions i would like to be cleared on before i proceed to apply.
Which tlscontact is the fastest? Abuja or Lagos?
Also, Which short stay has higher approval rate? Business or tourist?
What is the most recommended and affordable insurance one can get?
If don't have enough money in my personal account, can i use just my company?
What is the rough estimate for this process? No information on which is faster between Lagos and Abuja. Higher approval rate between tourist and business is dependent on how the application is packaged with the required documents. -strong justification for the trip -sufficient home ties -sufficient funds and evidence of same -proper evidence of activities to be carried out -proper evidence of intended accommodation -flight booking If you present the required documents broadly covering this either for a business or tourist intention, then you have a high probability of being granted visa to their country. For business, there's a high probability you'll be given those short stays (5 days, 7 days, 14 days), while tourist has a higher probability that you'll get a 1 month multiple for a start. You can use your company account. But you have to provide strong justification why the company is sponsoring the trip. Because ideally, company finances is not supposed to be indiscriminately appropriated by you. |

It's not the citizens that sold us to the iron chains of the IMF and world slavery bank. It's not citizens that destroyed the oil industry and made Ajaokuta commatose. It has always been the ruling class.
But for the citizens: envy, pull-him-down, hatred and lack of forgiveness, has destroyed the black community of Africans.
But we can repent, and seek godly and courageous ways. God will help us, Amin. It is the citizens. They were in leadership positions. The leadership have been changed several times with different citizens and the situation remains same. |

HaifaT: Hello,
I just got the horrible news that my mom's UK visitor visa have been refused, and it looks like it is accompanied by a possible 10 years ban. I live in the UK since 2020, I am Tunisian and German and my mom is Tunisian national. It has been conviened that she will be sponsored by her husband, living with her in Tunisia. She provided her bank statements showing money that her husband has sent her. She have also attached bank statement of her husband proving the transaction and the sufficient funds as well as a letter from him as a sponsor. The application seemed strong as she provided multiple documents such as : birth certificate of all her kids, their attendance to school in Tunisia, proof of owning à house etc. In the attached refusal letter, they state that the bank statement was a false document, which is a very serious accusation. It goes without saying that these statements came from her and her husband's bank, with the official stamp. What caught our attention is the first paragraph outlining the reason. They state : "In support of your application you have provided a statement purportedly issued by BIAT Bank, with an account number ending XXXX which is in your name and is dated 31/10/23. Checks conducted by this office, contained in a DER and held on file, have concluded to a high degree of certainty that this document is not genuine." The issue here, is that XXXX is not her number account, but her husband's !!!! So what happened here? Did they mismatched both bank statement (her husband is also at the same bank) It is clear that her bank statements that are under her name have the number account YYYY and not XXXX. This looks like a real ERROR from the end of the home office. Above all this, no way of appeal. Is it also an effective 10 years ban ?
These are serious allegations and could have really bad consequences. Can anyone advise us on what to do ?
Thanks a lot for taking the time.
Haifa Probably a mismatch. The ECOs are not immuned to mistakes, they make quite a number of mistakes due to work pressure or personal issues. Due to the consequence of this particular refusal bordering on alleged submission of "false document" you have to take this seriously. Get the bank to write a letter authenticating both bank statements, with emphasis on the owners of each and and also providing clear paths of communication for verification. Due to the consequence of this rejection, kindly get an immigration lawyer to review the refusal letter and write a PAP based on the areas of disagreement. The letter from the bank will play a role here. PAP (Pre-Action Protocol) is a precursor to a full Judicial Review (JR) of the decision. Home Office decisions are not a final nail on the coffin as parties can still seek the help of the courts. This should not be a problem to you as stated you are resident in the UK. |
