IMO, Poland is the most racist and xenophobic country in Europe. While I wonder why you chose to even go to Poland, they will most probably reject your language course visa application.

You wanna check Halle Berry, Mariah and see whether or not they are paying their lesser earning ex.

Nick and Mariah - He pays money into a trust for their kids. She keeps the kids full time but has to pay the costs for him whenever he visits. She gave him a ferrari.

Halle is paying baby daddy Gabriel Aubry 16k a month as child maintenance for their daughter. They were never married.
Unworthy examples.

Did Nick Cannon get the house? No

Did he receive any alimony? No

Halle Berry was smart enough to have done a prenup.

Mariah only gets to pay for his expenses when he visits.

I repeat, Men should not legalize whatsoever relationship they have with female in the Western world. Just cohabitate. That way, your losses are minimal.

And if you must get married for whatever reasons, please do a PRENUP. If she says No, you should see the handwriting on the wall.

I have seen many depressed African men across Europe. They have been here for so long with nothing to show for it simply because they have lost everything they have to divorce settlements, coupled with the need to continually pay child support. Can't go back home for fear of being seen as a failure.

Please be wise. A wise man learns from the mistake of others. If you can't think of examples, remember Emmanuel EBOUE of Arsenal. A man who earned millions of pounds turning to someone who cannot even afford a washing machine.

The Key word is a PRENUP. If you ever think of marriage, think of a PRENUP.

shaybebaby:
All I am going to say regarding the divorce thing is that;

Men should maintain the status quo they would like post divorce during the marriage. I'll explain.

When you hear of the wife getting the house, alimony, child support etc, that's because she has been the one mainly taking care of the said house (ya know, cooking and cleaning instead of going to work or building a career), taking physical care of the kids and the likes.

So post divorce, you get to keep your career (which you maintained at her expense) but you gas to share the benefit that comes with it even though you are no longer with her and ofcourse still support the kids. Chances are that you didn't involve yourself in their care whilst married except to drop money so drop money you shall after divorce with the same ol token contact you maintained with them.

So you want to mitigate this? Empower her to work, contribute domestically on the home front, be actively involved in the lives and care of your children during the time of the marriage.

What you will find upon divorce is that if the lifestyle you both enjoyed during marriage was as a result of contributions from both of you including the care of the children, it would be easier to obtain equally shared custody, equal split of the marital assets with no alimony or child support paid or owed.

But if you insist on the whole "my wife must cook and clean and take care of children by herself" whilst I provide the funds, you will maintain that status long after you are no longer benefitting from it, why?

Because the opportunity cost for her is a career, which you must compensate her for.
Trust me, even if she has a career and you both contribute equally, she gets the house and the other benefits whatsoever.

I don't live in the US, and even though the law is not as much biased as it over there, It sounds familiar as it is here in Germany.

I have seen women purposely quit their marriage so they could frolick around while getting their monthly cheques. In most cases where the woman has more than a child, she even gets much more than she would dream of getting if she was working. So of course, most women in Germany take advantage of that. Which is why MOST GERMAN MEN stopped getting married/ do not want to get married. Here, cohabitation is the order of the day and marriage rate is falling drastically.

If you like cohabitate for 200 years, you are not recognized by any legal entity as a partner in Germany. You can only get child support for the child only which will not be enough for the mother. In fact, unmarried fathers have the right to sue for joint custody, meaning the woman may not even get child support at all.

The advice I can only give to the men is simple:

- If you live wherever in the Western World, DO NOT LEGALIZE a relationship. Just COHABITATE. You don't need a piece of paper to show you love somebody.

- If you need a relationship, do so with with someone over there. But remember, cohabitation alone. If it has to be someone back home, then leave her back home and only come for visitation.

- If you ever need to get married, Please and please, Sign a PRENUP. If she doesn't want to sign a Prenup, she is not the right one for you. Don't let love fool you.

I wonder where you got your information. Tell me one country that does not accept Travel insurance from Nigeria.

@ prodogunwanoe1 , you do not need to pay the €30k, you only have to get a 3 month (as a student) travel insurance from any insurance company in Nigeria for your intending destination/country.
Of course, it must be within the dates you expect to travel.

Yes, you have to let them know the insurance should cover you up to €30k. You can even find it in the document you will be given. I used IGI then, costing about N19k. I have also had someone purchase IGI travel insurance for me back in Nigeria for three other countries (including Germany and France) since I found them cheaper than buying in Europe.

if you need muscle, you can try to hit the gym and some protein powder may be of help( you can order it on amazon) or rather some steroids lols......

but me I don't need to gain employment first, wait will be added onto it¿
Please don't listen to this advice to take steroids. They have many side effects such as damaging your liver, infertility, aggression etc. Besides you lose all the gains immediately you stop taking them. So they won't do you more good.

I'm in your shoes. And I started my weight gain challenge back in April. Actually, I have started late last year but I just got my strategies right this April.

The only way to gain weight is to eat more and more. If you are in a hurry, take 1000 calorie surplus per day. Forget about adding fat now, it doesn't matter for now. You are slim and need it anyway.

If you are having problems eating like me, turn to liquids such as Milk and take oil as a cheat.

And like someone rightly pointed out, if you really want to gain weight fast, maintain a sedentary lifestyle. It is pretty useless if after consuming all those calories, you go ahead to play 3 hours football or walk a long distance. You're going to burn them all away.

If you're involved in physical work, your challenge gets harder smiley .

Calorie dense foods: Noodles, Pasta, Rice, Palm oil, Vegetable oil, Banana, Chicken, Bread, Eba, Fufu etc.

What do you expect "them" to say. That they failed? ALL the missiles DIDN'T hit their targets. But of course, some did.

I'm not debating if they hit the targets or not. But something sounds fishy when there are more than 100 airstrikes on MILITARY targets and there are no casualties, either Syrian or Russian at a time when the said military is at war with others.

Or you expect me to believe these sites will just be left unguarded and there won't be any Syrian or Russian military personnel at these MILITARY facilities when they are at war with Terrorists?

It shows these military strikes is a sham.

They only struck facilities in Barzah and Jaramani. Now these supposed chemical facilities have already been evacuated and abandoned preemptively. So of course, they didn't bother to defend it. Most of the others were repelled so the Syrian military is still intact.

These military strikes look like a sham. There have been no casualties for 103 airstrikes.

What sort of useless thinking is that. Not every Nigerian has low self-esteem and lack of future hopes like you. I went to the UK for a summit myself, and left after just two days. I didn't abscond because I have no intention of being an illegal immigrant or relegate myself to doing menial jobs that I wouldn't do in Nigeria.

So speak for yourself and not every Nigerian.

Livie2016 , I understand your frustration about her absconding etc. and the legal immigration problems this might cause but I don't understand what you mean by being "exploited despite all the investments you made on her". It's not like she is a slave sworn to worship you and you family till the end.

She is an employee, giving you services (taking care of your baby, home etc) in exchange for pay. Same way people work for Nigerian Breweries and get paid monthly, with added benefits of health insurance etc. Consider it as she worked and she quit

I beg to wonder what her salary was despite the investments, now try hiring a live-in nanny in the UK (with sane employee protection laws), pay hourly like they do and see how much it will cost you.

US Embassy Statement

Foreign AffairsRe: Protest In Ghana Against US Military Is Massive (Photos) by Mille(op): 1:58pm On Mar 29, 2018
Police say around 3,500 protesters took part. Some voiced unease over the growing US military expansion in Ghana and beyond. “As a right-thinking citizen, I am here to fight for my country. I am against selling our peace and security for $20 million,” Gifty Yankson, a 49-year-old trader, told Africa News.

“They [the US military] become a curse everywhere they are, and I am not ready to mortgage my security,” the man added. Though riot police were deployed, the demonstration was peaceful.

The agreement was approved by Ghanaian President Nana Akufo-Addo’s government last Friday, but has come under fire from the opposition which voted against the pact in parliament and insisted it was a blow to the country’s sovereignty.

The US Embassy in Ghana said Washington had “not requested, nor does it plan to establish a military base or bases in Ghana.” It added: "This year, the United States of America is investing over $20m in training and equipment for the Ghanaian armed forces.”

Joint exercises were planned for this year “which require access to Ghanaian bases by US participants and those from other nations when included,” according to the embassy.

Similar protests against US military presence took place in different locations across the globe. The Japanese island of Okinawa is one of the most active venues of anti-American rallies. In recent years, demonstrations lambasting the US military occurred in Italy and the Czech Republic.

In Italy, locals have repeatedly voiced their unease over the US Dal Molin Army base. The country has one of the highest numbers of US bases in the world, and is the second-largest state in Europe after Germany which hosts an American military presence.

Foreign AffairsProtest In Ghana Against US Military Is Massive (Photos) by Mille(op): 1:57pm On Mar 29, 2018
A controversial pact, in which the US military wants to invest $20 million and get access to Ghana’s runways and communications, set off rallies in the West African nation, with people chanting their country is “not for sale.”

Thousands of people flocked to the streets of Accra, the capital of Ghana, to protest a military deal the government recently signed with the US. As part of the agreement, Washington would allocate around $20 million to train the Ghanaian military, carrying out joint exercises and using the nation’s radio channels and runways, the New York Times reported.

On Wednesday, massive demonstrations erupted in the capital, with people decrying both Ghana’s government and US President Donald Trump. Demonstrators held placards that read “Shithole government,” “Trump take your military base away.” “Ghana not for sale,” and “Ghana is better than $20 million.”

Did you write your IELTS in Germany? I am planning to write IELTS or going to Berlin to write PTE Academic next month. I was nominated for academic exchange at University of Queensland Business School by TUM SOMex. Since I already have BEng Mechanical Engineering, I plan to use PR instead of student visa as I still have till February 2019.

Will like to connect with you so as to hit 20 points in either IELTS or PTE Academic here in Germany.
I did. I wrote mine at the University of Goettingen (I don't study there though, but it's the closest to me).

I was probably helped by my experience with the Erasmus language tests which is similar to IELTS (I had to compulsorily write it four times due to nature of my program).

Dear house, I am new to this Australia thread. And I am considering using it as a backup.

I recently wrote IELTS (8 band) bringing my total score up to 65. I would appreciate a few honest answers before applying.

My Profile:

I intend to apply as an agricultural scientist. I have a 5 year bachelor degree in a related discipline, and I am in the final semester of my Masters in Germany. I have no work experience in the field, except the practical year as part of my education.

- Do I qualify? I have heard people say you need a degree and one year of experience for it to be assessed against your occupation field.

- Can I apply with an incomplete Masters? or do I need to wait till after receiving my degree? I can get my current transcript and an accompanying letter from my university saying I am well on course to finish in a couple of months.

- Can I use the practical year as a work experience? We were paid, but only at the end of the one year program. No payslips but of course, I can get an attestation/reference letter concerning it.

Thank you. I will appreciate any reply no matter how bad it is.

My friends in Germany and Estonia are saying same thing with you.
My brother, If I would advice you. Don't take it. Agent doesn't care about you, he is only bothered about making his money off you and leave you to your struggles.

Besides if you really want to go there, I don't understand why you have to use an agent as I have never used one myself. Go to the embassy and apply yourself. It will save you more than 90% of what he is telling you to pay.

It's your choice anyway. You can choose to follow his words but please verify any employment contract he may bring up to you (If you see anything like 'per hour', know it's a scam) and do not accept a tourist/business visa. Azerbaijan no longer allow conversion of other visas to work visa.

Hello guys,
A travel agent invited me to apply for a 2 years working visa in Azerbaijan and the way the offer appears, they pay $12 per hour to work for 8 hours only.
He assured me that there's a lot of job opportunities currently in the country.
Please I need people who can tell me if this is real before I spend any dime.
Thanks
People are coming to call me a hater. But I'll tell you the truth. If you listen to the agent, you're going to get stranded.

Azerbaijan doesn't pay per hour. Just like some countries in Europe, they pay per month. The minimum wage is 130 AZN or 76 USD or 62 Euro PER MONTH, While the average wage for skilled work is 450 AZN or 213 Euro or 265 USD PER MONTH. You will have to search for unskilled work as your chances of getting even that skilled job is very slim. Not only do you not speak the language, you have a big hurdle in getting your Nigerian qualifications recognized.

Even bigger countries like Germany, Italy, Turkey, Czech, Hungary, Spain etc don't pay up to 12 USD for most UNSKILLED jobs not to talk of Azerbaijan. If that was true, I would have moved to Azerbaijan myself.

And lastly, please do not go there and search for a job. If he said there are multiple available positions, let him get one for you before you leave the country.
