Proxy001:Bros eh, that was a costly mistake. I was just overly concerned and defending my race. I'm very sorry. |
Proxy001:Don't expose your ignorance here. It's much more better to keep quiet if you are uninformed. Who told you there are much black Africans in France? Sub Saharan Africa only represents 12% of the total number of immigrants in France compared to North Africa with 30% of Immigrants. Even there are more European and Asian Immigrants in France than black Africans. In fact, there is no black country in France top 10 immigrants countries. |
God knows I cannot attend a school like this. See how they separated the boys from the girls. |
For those going to European Masters/Erasmus, please be careful of the countries you chose. I took a flight to Abuja on Sunday for my appointment on Monday at the Romania Embassy. I heard Romanian officials are bureaucratic, I didnt believe it but I'm witnessing it firsthand. They have refused to accept my application and I have been asked again to come tomorrow. They don't even care where I have been sleeping. Tomorrow is when my patience runs out. I have been wearing the same dirty cloth to the embassy since. Thank God I still have my SIA admission as backup. I'd rather apply to a regular program. |
Hahaha. South Africa and Botswana I hail o. Morroco is seeking to rejoin. What a nice destination for our brothers in the North. |
Switsex:I'm about to board one. Dana for 33.3k. I initially wanted to use Medview at 32.5k before it became fully booked. Note that Due to scarcity of aviation fuel, flights have been cancelled or rescheduled. My flight was initially 11:52 and I'm still waiting cos it's still delayed. |
While arranging my documents for my appointment on Monday, I discovered that my Original birth certificate is missing. It is funny because I still used it this week. Now I have many photocopies. How do I turn one of them to the Original copy? |
morayour:Thank you. I already did it. |
UncleJudax:Thank you. Your description was perfect. I just got insured. |
Lol. Now you are beginning to sound like a desperate Nigerian who is eager to leave at all cost and spent his last savings on it. I'll leave you to your problems since I don't support illegality. If you are looking to get employment, you have to come back and reapply for work visa. You cannot convert a tourist visa to employment visa. Imagine living everyday of your life running from immigration, you wont be able be able to do proper work or even open a bank account. And think of the shame that will come when you are finally deported with nothing but the clothes you have on you. You won't be able to go back home and will end up on the streets of Lagos. Being an illegal immigrant is not worth it. |
You have a tourist visa and you intend to work. No wonder embassies are wary of Nigerians. |
Please I need direction from CMS to IGI insurance office. |
biglord:Lolz. It's Romania. They don't pick calls, don't reply emails. No information online. I'm even regretting why I chose to go to Romania first. The embassy is at Abuja. If there's anyone who has gone for Erasmus program before, Pls help me with details. |
Please, I'm completing my E-visa application (not Germany) and I can see Travel health insurance there. How do I go about it? And secondly, there require an airline ticket (compulsory), Why should I buy a ticket when the visa isn't sure in the first place. Please help me. |
fwwins:A Grand ecole in Lyon |
I'll be starting my MSc by September. With France high Unemployment rate, on a scale of 10, what would you rate my chance of securing a job after study in the Food/Agriculture sector within six months. |
In a Courtroom, WOMAN: I want to divorce my husband. JUDGE: Why? WOMAN: Our sex lives is boring. We haven't had sex in 6month. He only wants to do missionary but I want to take charge and RIDE the wave. You know what I mean, RIDE. WOMAN: The only time we had it, he just lay there like a dead man as I rode him. He said and did nothing. Even when I said "Baby, do you like it", he said nothing. Only for him to hit start hitting me hard at my ass. This moved me and I kept riding faster. I really enjoyed it but he doesnt want it anymore. JUDGE: Mr, why is that. If you both enjoyed it the last time, why not try it again. MAN: I never enjoyed it WOMAN: It's a lie. I believe there is a woman out there. Why did you hit my ass then if you never enjoyed it MAN: my Lord, I Was Just Trying To Breathe JUDGE (Takes another look at Woman): ![]() |
NEEZY5565:Of course, you can work. But if you want to work, steer clear of Ukraine. I have no idea about China. Now the good news is that you have an alternative to the blocked account issue since Austria is your home university, meaning you have to use either a blocked account or personal savings account (not sponsor) to get the Austria Visa. You will enter Germany during the second semester and apply for residence permit. No need for visa, Besides Visa is free for you. But emm, emm, emm, If you are over 24. My brother, financially, I say go for another program. Austria visa is very hard and costy. 10k+ Euro blocked account or equivalent personal account (About half if you are less than 24). I remember they used to charge 120k legalization fee before processing. I wonder how much it will be now with the falling Naira. Where will you spend the last semester. |
okezie007:Hello sir, I only applied to just one Erasmus program. so basically, I don't know much about the others. |
dolpaz:Like seriously? I initiated mine by Monday and got my account number, deposited and transferred by Tuesday at GTB, Marina despite providing the 2 referees from Different Banks (Maybe because I already have an account with them). Hence, that's why I recommend using a bank you already have a savings account with. I only provided the Additional Account Opening form, ID card and 2 referees. If he doesn't have much time, he should find someone to help him with it. My advice was based on what I think. In this time of falling Naira where everyone now needs more Naira than ever, falling prey to scam at this time can/may be detrimental to your plans. That's why I think everyone is now better off doing it themselves. Btw, It's just what I think. I don't have to be right always. Cheers. |
Principe:Since most are going to charge you at BDC rate, why not go and open a dorm account. If you already have an account with the bank, request for additional account opening form. There is no opening balance. And withdrawals are in same currency as deposits. Source for your Euro from those Mallams, follow them to the Bank, let them deposit it into your dorm account (to be sure it's not fake), pay them the Naira equivalent and then transfer to wherever you want to. That way you are less likely to be scammed, you have evidence of payment and most importantly, you will have an account you can always use for future transactions. My two cents. |
okezie007:Believe me, there are no special considerations/procedures. You apply same way you apply to normal university programs. Most I believe are in English though some may require proficiency in two or more languages like the MSc Food Identity which requires proficiency in English and French but still considers adequate knowledge of Spanish, Italian or Romanian a plus for admission. Funny though. |
okezie007:No it's not. The contract is for those admitted to Erasmus programs or regular students who would be going for an exchange and spending a semester or two abroad. |
UncleJudax:Cc: Toroze , chrisley024 Thank you. I have even forgotten there would be public holiday next week. I was concerned about the cost. Any idea on cost of Dhl or Fedex? okezie007, I'm sorry but I don't seem to understand your question. Are you going for an Erasmus program also? |
Please, how reliable is NIPOST? I received my Erasmus contract today and I was told to sign and send two copies to Lyon before July 15. Can I trust Nipost to help me beat the deadline? |
baggylips:There is only one study loan I know of and I believe most banks offer it ( I am sure of Wema, Access, and GTB). The school fees Advance loan. Minimum 50k and maximum 3M. I remember asking GTB years ago. The requirements are less tedious and there is no need for collateral. Target Market: Parents/guardians of Royal Kiddies/Purple Account customers Permanently employed individuals with or without salaries domiciled with the bank Self Employed with proven capacity and character to repay. Features: Minimum Facility Amount of N50,000.00 Maximum Facility Amount of N3,000,000 Maximum tenor of 3 months (For Nursery/Primary/Secondary schools) and Maximum tenor of 9 months (For tertiary institutions) per request Parents of Purple Account Holders and Spons School/Tuition fees will be paid directly to the child/ward’s school Repayment: Equal monthly repayments or bullet repayment comprising of principal and interest Shall not exceed 60% of parent/guardian net monthly salary Maximum number of children is four subject to DSR restriction Benefits Supports the parent/guardian’s desire to give their child quality education. Access to funds for early payment of child/ward’s school fees. Borrowers employer does not have to be listed with the Bank No collateral needed Easy renewal of loan Flexible repayment terms Doc Required: Completed Academic Loan application form Letter of introduction: This is to determine the employment status of the parent/guardian Irrevocable letter of domiciliation from the employer: This is to ensure that the parent/ guardians salary will remain with Wema Bank until the advance is liquidated Invoice of School/tuition fees Proof of identity (Driver’s license, National ID, International Passport or Voters card). Employment ID is not sufficient Proof of address i.e. utility bill Last three month’s pay slip Six months’ salary/business statement of account (for customers whose salary/business accounts cannot be or are not domiciled with Wema Bank) Now the problem is how you will convince the bank to use same cash to fund your blocked account instead of paying to the school's account. You can make enquiries from individual banks and try convince them. |
sapiosexual1:My brother, you don't know what peer pressure can do. I remember years ago when I hung out with friends. After everything, they wanted to go swimming. I didn't want to go because I can't swim but they pressured me into go. When they got there, I didn't even UnCloth talkless of entering the water but again, the pressure got to me. I remember going down in the middle of the water and starred jumping up. My supposed friends didn't even notice. Thank God for an eagle eyed stranger. Someone would have typed RIP for me back then. Since that day, I have been scared of any water that is more than 1 litre. |
djlaqua91:Thanks. I appreciate your input. Still hoping on other inputs |
CCsurplus007:Thanks. So does it mean that if I spend the last semester in Germany, I am entitled to the 18months? |
Brothers, please I need help. 1. Am I qualified for the 18months post-study stay if I only spend the 2nd and last semester of my Masters program in Germany? I have been looking to spend the last semester in France because of my French skills but with the present economy of France and their conditional one year offer, Germany seems a viable option. 2. I learnt French up to A2 and the rest have been personal study but I have a goal to go back to class and reach C1 by March. But since I'll be staying in Germany, German is pretty much important. Is it possible to learn the two langauges at once combined with study without it affecting my grade? Please note that I have no intention of working for the first semester as I am dedicating it to improve my language skills. |
CCsurplus007:Please I need help I'm going for Erasmus also. Though as a self-funding student. According to my mobility track which I selected based on my specialization, My tracks are as follows; University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Cluj Napoca, Romania. 1st semester University of Kassel and Fulda University of Applied Sciences both in Germany. 2nd ISARA-LYON, France. 3rd The last semester is a internship/master thesis and they say it should be done in a country that I haven't studied before which automatically means Ghent University, Belgium or Arrhus University, Denmark. Though they have agreed to let me do it in either Germany or France. I want to know if it's possible to get a stay in Belgium after spending the last semester there. Like maybe a year to get a job. The lure of studying in one of Ughent or Arrhus is too much to bear. The 6th and 7th best in the world in my chosen subject. |
.btw German education is free indeed
