seunmsg: Ozekhome is a clown. The judgement doesn’t affect APC’s candidate. The party will immediately appeal the judgement and ask for a stay of execution. The appeal won’t be heard until after the election. Even if the appeal court uphold the judgement, the party will simply change the running mate. The time for substitution of candidates is over. The only way APC can get its way is appeal for stay of execution. However, if it was when the professor of practical politics, Nyesom Wike was still very much active and happy with PDP, I would have said APC should forget it. |

Pistotita: My brother, hype in prices are not caused by farmers, but by middle men who are in control of most markets. They are thugs. You will be shocked the profit of farmers is minimal. These thugs are everywhere, and they are the ones even smuggling in. You are correct. Nigerians are greedy. We are our problem. I do wonder what is the fate of this county given our selfish nature. An average Nigerian, be it a trader or whoever is as wicked as our politicians. Few minuted to this thread, I called a relative who do buying and selling of poultry. She told me she's been on the way in search of poultry to buy. That it's not getting funny. That the one they sold about N1,500 a month ago now goes for minimum of N2,500 on abeg abeg. |

Nigerians are greedy. With the closure of boarders, the farmers will raise price and create artificial scarcity to achieve their selfish aims. |

annford: I visited the Church in Kubwa, Abuja with my Wife cos we wanted to see the Pastor. We were visited on a Sunday, only to be told that if we must see the Pastor, we must check into the Church-owned Hotel on a Friday and the man of God would see us on Monday morning in our Hotel room. That sounded weird and fishy. We asked how much that would cost and we were told it was 250k. 200k for the Hotel room and feeding and then 50k for the pool of Bethesda. 250k to see Pastor? we had to bounce. No be Life and Death matter. I don't know if anyone has ever gotten their healing there. X That's serious. I am short of words. |

ufondunenye: Joshua Iginla of Champion Royal Assembly, Chikakwere, Kubwa. I used to be a conc member of this church before, I would leave my house every Sunday by 5:30/ 6:00am and by coming back at 8:00am at night, all in the name of church. I loved him because of his philanthropist nature. But, not anymore.after all the scandals and all that, I just decided not to go again and the worst is that its like he has moved in to South Africa maybe to be with the 2nd wife, because he hasn't been in Abuja church for a long time now. God save us all. So the pool actually does wonder? |
Christianity Etc › Re: Church In Abuja Where Pastor Charges N50k To Swim In Miracle Swimming Pool by Mires: 2:57pm On Nov 09, 2019 |
annford: It just doesn't stop there. The Church would have you lodge In their hotel on a Friday so you could see the Pastor on Sunday evening, one on one in your hotel room and the hotel is owned by that Church. The "complete package" amount in N250k. 200k for you to have a one on one meeting with the Pastor and 50k for you to be allowed to step Into the pool. The influx of people there is so mind-blowing. ¡ Have you seen them healed? Lame walking, blind seeing, etc |

valentineuwakwe: Your points are well noted but not well written....Dont knw what you intend to portray but is it directed to the Christians alone? I was looking for where you will state or mention where gambling is written in the bible but none I guess.....is casting lot the same as gamnling or betting as you may say? no where in the bible is gambling mentioned. I am a Catholic and according to the Catholic encyclopedia, gambling is allowed as long as neither of both persons involve i.e the staker and the betting company does not predetermine or know the outcome of the bet. Back to your main point, on a personal note, betting has never made me lazy or greedy....i bet responsively. From sept 2, 2011 i started online betting with nairabet and now sportybet, i have achieved alot....my losing streak is just 3%.... am an entrepreneur, the funds i used in establishing my business, building a house in Portharcourt and establishing most family and friends comes from winnings in betting....my dear, God can bless one in anyway he chooses....Though God is not evil but if you say betting is evil, he can allow a little evil to take place for a greater Good! Really? |

Let the truth be untold,to be a female student in any Nigerian higher institution is equivalent to taking a trip down to hell....These so called lecturers are hellish, and stern warnings should be issued to lecturers during recruitment.. Bro, please don't generalize. Not all male academics are randy. Some of us still have names and conscience to protect. I am one of those who has been advocating for any randy academic caught to be send off the system. Same holds in other agencies and institutions. For your record, an average Nigerian, be it a politician, medical Dr, academic, name them, will always want to used his position to oppressed vulnerable individuals. |

shogsman: you're naive and ignorant, both the supervisor and the head of department have it in for him, there is something called cabal in this institutions,he's fvcked until those people decided to let him off the hook, even if he goes through the channels you guys gave him,it will take him eternity, and if you think a departmental president will make a difference then you're even more ignorant than than i thought. you were just lucky in school or you went to a private school,if you finished from the same institution i finished from ,it doesnt matter how brilliant you are,you are fvcked if you dont pay a if this still sound like news to you its either you don't live in this country or you're just an hypocrite. One of the bad eggs in Nigerian has shown himself. You are rather the one who's not only naive, ignorant but also a social problem. I am much informed than you in all ramifications. You have just exhibited your stupidity by making reference to a departmental president who's a student and under the authority of the said lecturer and HOD. In the same vein, for your record, I wasn't lucky. I worked hard and earned desirable grade in all the courses I took from my BSc to PhD. Lest I forget to educate you given your stupidity that I went through private Universities, keep deceiving yourself possibly because you went through a mushroom or Agbowo University or Polytechnic. I am a product of two notable and prestigious Universities in Nigeria - University of Nigeria and University of Ibadan. People like you are the bane of our society. |

shogsman: Be living in your distorted reality and claiming know all,it is simple rational thinking,if the gains outweigh the loss you do it,all his problems could have been avoided if he had paid a stipend, the grease palm in every part of the world so stop attributing the problem of Nigeria to that shit,if you’ve been outside of the country you’d know what I’m talking about,he was being moral you all say,now he’s fvcked ,only he knows what he’s going through now. My friend, there's no rationality in the poo that you spit out. As an academic, I can authoritative tell you that all through my level of education to PhD, I have never given any lecturer a dime. And none have ever asked me. In the midst of that, my PhD supervisor "spoilt" me with hundreds of thousands of naira. Let me shock you a little. There was a time I was looking for lectureship position. Two good friends of mine called and told me to do what they termed the "needful" to be employed at IMSU and two Federal universities. My respond to them was if I have never given any lecturer N1 to passed a course, why should I pay as much as N1 million to stand before students? What's the dignity? Who's to pay for the money? I don't subscribed to it in as much as I wouldn't want to push the burden to the end users (students). For your record, the student acted accordingly. And like I said, let Ordinary president be notify of his case, you will see table falling down in Fed Poly, Bida. |

shogsman: Na oversabi kill you,as a human being you ought to adapt to any situation you find yourself, your supervisor asked for money you said no because you think you’re brilliant and can earn good grades without greasing palms.now you have yourself to blame, the only solution is to go and beg that supervisor and see how it goes from there, seems your result were tampered with by someone in the department. People like you are the reason why Nigeria has nothing to show for her independence all these years. Why will you advised a promising student to sort a lecturer? One who has value wouldn't descend so low like a poo. It's unfortunate that some people in Nigerian tertiary institutions have no business being there, let alone being labelled academic. Of course, I for one will hardly recognized anyone who stand before students in polytechnic as academic except he/she has PhD in his chosen field. Where BSc are allowed to lecture students and many of them climb the rung of their career with such requisite degree as is the case in Nigerian polytechnics, one is bound to hear such atrocities. Nonetheless, op, a lot of people have advised you to tagged some activists on Twitter with all relevant information. I will advise you to tow that line. In addition, also reach out to Ordinary Ahmad Isah (Brekete) on WhatsApp - +234 704 040 8060. Once he chats with you, the institution will provides you your result. |
