How much to start with do they pay as sch fee to receive their training in Nigeria such that they will be comparing their salary with that of more qualified Drs at Canada who spend fortune to be trained.

They are happy to see CNO of over 25 years earning less than a fresh Dr who's Junior registrar and goes home with about #400,000 - #450,000 monthly.

So it is easy to be absorbed in developed countries, and they are still here.

Like many Nigerians have said it here, how does a pay rise for JOHESU affect medical Drs wellbeing if not that they are barbaric and evil.

Permit me to say that a junior registrar (first appointment after NYSC) in tertiary health care such as teaching hospitals earns a minimum of #400,000 per month. At the same time, a registered nurse with first appointment as Nursing officer 2 (NO 2) earns about #85,000. At the same time, a Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) with over twenty five years of cognate experience doesn't earns salary close to a medical Dr with first appointment as Junior registrar. Yet, the so called egocentric group of individuals are threatening federal government if it reviews the salary structure of JOHESU.

One of them here in an attempt to buttress their selfish agenda, likened JOHESU and NMA to ASUU and NASU. I wish I can tell him that his reasoning is shallow. First, disparity in take home amongst ASUU and NASU is infinitesimal. In some instances in Universities, a non-teaching staff earns relatively higher then a teaching staff. This will never be allowed by the so called evil group called medical Drs in Nigeria who can't do anything in hospitals without the presence of JOHESU members.

Why on earth will he b making reference to ASUU. If he's told what a professor takes home monthly, I am sure he will say "God forbid". Nigerian lecturers are not as greedy as medical Drs. The former are after humanity while the latter are after their self-centered pockets.

Before I am mistaken to be a member of JOHESU, I am not one and will never pray to work in a sector where some evil being see themselves as gods.

There should be amendment on electoral act that any candidate who contest primaries in a political party and lost cannot be allowed to present himself/herself to the proposed election under any political party.

Such will help to curtail the level of political "prostitutes" in Nigeria.
