Hello, I didn't write any test then. It was just an interview (more of a chat) with a manager there. I was being recruited for Noemdek directly not for other organizations. So I don't know anything about their test or cbt.

I did not abuse you, show me where I abused you? I stated my views just as you stated yours. You are the frustrated one since you want to use someone's past to make mockery, typical of Nigerians when they want to insult. You can't handle another person's counter views then don't open a thread. Nairaland is for everyone so shift.

thebosstrevor1:
No it didn't, if it did, then you won't be this abusive just because of my views.

The symptoms of frustration and depression is still evident in your life. grin

Awww, that was years ago. My life has changed tremendously since 2020. I am not ashamed of my journey. You are the frustrated one dear, looking for people to support your frustrated self. Why should I commit suicide because of you, someone I don't even know. I won't even go through your profile, that's a waste of my time.
Bring more, I have your time today.

thebosstrevor1:
Interesting.

Don't bring your frustration near me, i have just check your profile and the threads you made. It all filled with frustration.

It potrays a person that has low self esteem, inferiority complex, depression and no confidence.

How about your sucidial posts,

I won't write further because if i do, you might end up committing sucide. I am not that evil. So if you have nothing important to write, ignore the thread.

Awww, inferiority complex is a bad thing. I am not the cause of your problem. Enrich your mind and associations so you can be confident.

thebosstrevor1:
Funny enough, you never wrote anything intelligent or intellectual for me to judge your intellectual capacity, you didn't even bring one countering opinion except ranting emotionally and throwing tantrums all over the place.

Now, you claim i am not exposed, i sound shallow and uneducated, this is so funny coming from someone who think traveling abroad or dating interracially and inter tribal makes one exposed and educated, typical shallowness of an average Nigerian.
Family › Re: Inter Ethnic Marriages Can Be Very Dangerous by missidy: 10:04am On Aug 28, 2021
No dear, exposure is not by any of the above. You are not exposed because you sound shallow and uneducated. It's not just about going to school, let the school pass through you as well. Marry from your village and suit yourself, don't disturb others. Shalom.

thebosstrevor1:
It is funny that your "exposure" is determined because you dated non nigerian and because your father engages in inter racial marriages or because your family is inter tribal. How does marrying from a different race or tribe determines one exposure?

So if someone agrees with interracial or inter-tribal marriages, the person is exposed, if the person doesn't, they are not exposed, what kind of naiveness is thathuh

Do you have to step out of Nigeria to know about something? You are naive if you think you have to step out of Nigeria to know about a certain subject.

Or do you want to dismissed the aggression from both black and white people when they see an interracial couple, the spitting, the slight abusive remarks from people, the different cultural differences between the couples in terms of cooking, raising kids etc, the disappointment from parents that their child married a black, how about isolation from friends and family. I hope you know that when a black guy sleeps with a white girl, to the whites, she is already a condemned woman.

Spare me your rants and your "embarrassment claim" when did having discussions and opposing views becomes something of embarrassing and this is coming from someone who claimed she is " exposed", it is laughable.

Honestly their thinking pattern amazes me, like people that have never seen civilization before. God forbid that I will even relate with anyone of them. See that one telling me to go and date inter- racially as if he has ever dated a non nigerian before. I pity the ladies that marry them, unending suffering.

Magnoliaa:

Family › Re: Inter Ethnic Marriages Can Be Very Dangerous by missidy:
And who told you I haven't dated inter racially? Throughout my university days I never dated a Nigerian so you can't even school me on that. That's the thing, people that have never stepped out of Nigeria will be claiming to know more about certain things than those that have. My dad and stepmom are an inter-racial couple. All the children in my family are into inter-tribal marriages. Get exposed and stop embarrassing yourself online. Nonsense.

thebosstrevor1:
You come from a backward country and then you are claiming you are exposed all because of my opposing views on inter tribal marriage.

Carry your "exposure" to the advanced country and date interracially then you will understand the reality of things.

According to miss exposure, my views are backwards, and myopic because it goes against your fantasy of inter tribal marriage.

Family › Re: Disadvantage Of Being A Full House Wife by missidy:
It leaves room for abuse and men take advantage of housewives a lot. That is why you have to choose your spouse well, don't go and marry a stingy man. But then no woman sets out to become a housewife, things change when a child is born. I used to bash housewives too until I realized it is not easy raising young kids. How do you leave for work in the morning especially in Lagos when your baby starts running temperature at night. Babies sickness always start at night. How do you trust a nanny with your child when you don't even know what they are doing to that child when you are not there?

Most men bashing housewives can't even stay with a toddler for one full day, they will run away from the house and return in the evening. Everytime my niece who is 1yr plus comes to the house I can't sleep until she is sleeping. If I just leave her to do something and look back, she has either picked a sharp object or is doing something mischievous. I'm always relieved when they come to pick her. You dare not sleep when your toddler is awake or else you will regret it. Or is it my friend that took care of her 2 nephews for the holidays and developed knee pains from stress. Nigeria is even better, you can get help. Look at your female friends abroad that have little kids, they can't work until the kids start school at 6yrs for US and 4yrs for UK. Their career takes the back seat for the first few years.

Finally, girls make sure you marry a generous man. A man that spends well on you while dating cos that is the same habit he will carry into marriage. So that if you have to stay at home and care for your young kids, you will not regret it. God bless my neighbor for spoiling his wife silly and respecting her despite being a housewife. Babe is always dressed on point, as he changed his car he also changed her own too. Everyone respects him for taking good care of his wife. Being a stay at home mom is for a period of time, it isn't forever.
No nairaland guy should quote me, read and pass.

Hi folks

I had like to highlight this matter to seek for inputs
I called the FCC of my state {Anambra} precisely. I tried to introduce myself then explain how I got his number to call him
The man was pretty aggressive. He was yelling at me about how I got his number.
Each attempt I made to call back He cuts the call.I tried to calm him down so as to listen first.
I waited for an hour and called for the last time then he picked and told me to come to his office but I told him I am not resident in Abj.

After a while I got call from someone I assume is his PA.
The guy introduced himself as Nonso,
He said, his oga directed him to discuss with me.
Mr Nonso told to come down to Abj to see his Oga in person as my request for a govt job offer isnt enough to be discussed via phone conversation.

I tried to convince him to tell me atleast what to do cos transportation fare from my enclave to Abj no be here.

I expect the guy to tell me stuffs so I know what to do first before embarking on the Abj trip.
But he insisted I come to Abj for discussion with him.

Please guys I need your suggestions/opinions

Cheers

You clearly don't know what you are saying about forex, bitcoin not being a career. I can confidently tell you that they are careers, if you can learn those skills please do. My cousin is a forex guru, he is already building his house from forex. He sat at home during the lockdown and got a job because of how good he is. This is someone that searched for job for 6 years then gave up to focus on forex. He is already preparing to get his office space and leave the company he is working for to continue his own broker. Do you know there are so many forex companies in Lagos and Abuja? Abeg don't ever say forex is not a career.

I have tried to learn but my brain is not just carrying it. If you see a forex broker marry abeg, my cousins wife is there living lavishly thanks to his forex money and she isn't working.
Education › Re: Parents And School Owners; Stop Abusing Summer Break. by missidy: 1:10pm On Jul 31, 2021
I never did summer school even when my school had it and my children won't either. Immediately school ends, I would inform my aunty in Abuja that I want to come for holidays. The first 2 weeks of summer, I always spent it at the saloon in my compound. That was how I learnt how to start making hair right from primary school. After the 2 weeks, I am off to Abuja to enjoy myself. That is how that bond with my aunty was formed, she the closest aunty to me. The funniest part is when I return to school, I will still carry 2nd position despite my play play. Other holidays I spent it at home playing away my life with other children in the compound, lovely memories.

When I entered secondary school, I started dividing the holidays between Abuja and the village. I will go to the village and spend time with my grandparents until I am bored then move to my aunt's house. All those lovely memories would never have been created if I was wasting my time in one nonsense summer lesson. Just one time after jss3 I said let me join one that my friend was going to, I didn't learn anything at all. I just packed my bag and travelled to my grandparents abeg. I abandoned the lesson.

A lot of mothers today are working class so they need somewhere to keep their kids. When I have kids I plan to take my annual leave every August so I can stay home with my kids and we can travel to new places. Sometimes I bundle them to their grandparents house. I enjoyed my holidays therefore I will make sure my kids enjoy theirs.

Stay away and cut off from them. You don't need to keep in touch or be cordial with people that will always remind you of your pains. If at all you need to, send only Christmas and new year text message. Be grateful from a very far distance. They will still spoil your name even if you show them all the love in the world. So many relations don't talk to each other and both parties are progressing in life.

laborious:
I had a very tough childhood, one of those things that made it worse is the false accusations, whenever anything goes missing or misplaced, i am always held responsible, and i will be tortured till I confess to a crime i did not commit, most times I wonder if i somehow steal those things most especially money and jewelries in my unconsciousness, it messed my life up, i became lost, i had no one to speak to, even in the house it was like they all gang up against me,i was always depressed, sick, disoriented, i was gradually losing my sanity,i was just a teenager, i was brilliant but yet I keep repeating classes,i became aggressive, tempermental, zero social skill, all because i was a child and cannot defend myself, ps I grew up with my aunty...but the last time another aunty tried it with me....hehee..she saw crazy that dat! But it still hurt me till today because I was innocent of those accusations and most importantly my relationship with those aunties and cousins can never be cordial coz am suppose to be greatfull to them but I hate them because they messed my life up..

Family › Re: What Is The Importance Of Having Children? by missidy: 2:15pm On Jul 15, 2021
You are right about exercise and healthy lifestyle making you strong in old age, that has tackled the point of needing physical help. But you forgot others. What about the unconditional love, care and loneliness issue I mentioned? You skipped all that. Finally, you have said that you might eventually have one child and that one child is enough for you. Which is the same thing I am saying, at least one child is enough to give a person the love, care and help that he/ she needs in their later years. Having just one child that you love and care for is enough to give you purpose, fulfilment, direction and meaning in life.

NewSoul:
Ok ma I have heard you. what is wrong with living to age 70 years? It is not the length of years that matters, it's the impact and lives you've touched that counts. Some people live to be an hundred years without having discovered themselves or touch anyone's live in a positive way. In a country where live expectancy is below 45 years.

I put it to you that a healthy lifestyle will make you fit and able to do so many things yourself when you get to a very old age. Exercise is very key including diet trust me. Eating junk and fatty foods is detrimental to health. These foods usually high in cholesterol makes the artery narrower and therefore the heart has to work harder to pump blood through out the body that's when High Blood pressure, Heart failure, stroke and all those related "old people's" illness sets in. The importance of a healthy lifestyle can't be overemphasized. What we sow in our youthful years we'll reap in old age. You see many old people and many fat people but you hardly see an old fat person above 80. Have you tried to find out why?

Finally on your Google search engine, type Ernestine shepherd. She's 85 years old and she a body builder very fit. Fitter than many 25 year old ladies I see today with their flabby stomach even with waist trainers smh. This kind of person can never be waiting for any kids to take care of her or be kept in a nursing home. She runs 16Km daily. Some 30 year old men can't even run 1km without passing out and breathing like an exhausted camel.

Finally if I ever decide to later consider marriage.Only one child (boy or girl) is enough. my wife must be a sporty person that is she must be interested in at least a sport that she can wake up very early with me to engage in maybe tennis, running, or skipping. Seeing a lady in her training gears sweating it out is so attracting. Eat like a normal person, love fruits and vegetables not eating and getting fat out of proportion then they will now use child birth as excuse as if they are the only one to birth a child. Celebrities that give birth to kids and return back to shape in less than 2 months nko? There's no how you'll live a healthy lifestyle and not be fit at old age. When you see some of your agemates or even your younger ones that are the same age as you and didn't embrace healthy living but instead engage in "destructive habits" the difference will be clear some may look like 20 years older than you are. Its discipline though not every one can persistently engage in such strict lifestyle. NO PAIN NO GAIN
Family › Re: What Is The Importance Of Having Children? by missidy:
Hahaha, you are just talking. If you know you won't have a child, just die when you are 70yrs. Cos if you live longer, you will suffer no matter how rich you are. I have cared for 2 grandparents so I know what I'm talking about. You eat well and have a good lifestyle means you will be strong in old age!!!!! Allow me to laugh.
When you see single ladies in their 40's and late 30's doing all they can to have a child since they aren't lucky with marriage, they are planning their future. Some women that couldn't give birth adopt new born babies and care for the child as theirs. Why do you think Linda Ikeji did everything she could to have a child? She doesn't mind taking care of her child herself. It is because she is preparing for her old age. Off course she won't live with her son in old age since he will be a man with his own family but her son will always visit her regularly and show her unconditional love. After your mother, nobody will ever show you unconditional love except your own child.

Men don't have problems in old age because they don't live that long. The ones who live long still have their wives to care for them and show them love. It is women that live to that very old age and are usually widows by then. Call an old person just to greet and see how he will be thanking you just for that phone call, old people are always thanking me for calling them. It is because they desire love and care at that stage of their lives.
Immediately my mother is 80 and she is still alive, she is moving in with me. I will never let her live by herself at such old age and off course there will be a maid to attend to her as I will be a busy person but the main care will be given by me while my brother supports financially.

NewSoul:
angry I don't want to have kids! I don't want to have a family! from what I have suffered on this earth, I should bring another innocent soul to come and suffer too? never! angry

Someone said to me that the reason that I don't want to have kids is because I'm selfish. But the reverse is actually the case, you are selfish that's why you are having kids. You have kids to showoff (some parents can't do without exposing videos or pictures of their kids on social media for at least 4 times a week), you have kids to prove a point (everyone look here I'm fertile and I can produce a "mini-me", my kids attend the best school in the state, my son/daughter just got admitted to Harvard at age 14) so that you can receive applaud for being a great parent from the public, You want kids to help you with house chores, to run errands for you, wash your clothes, iron them and cook for you and make them feel like they owe you because brought them to this world (like it's a privilege to be born) I even hear stupid comments like " hanhan help your parents now, without them you will not be here angry . as if being born into this screwed up world is a good thing. (no be even better world, Nigeria for that matter angry)

undecided Abi you did not hear about the news of a man that sued his parents in the United States for giving birth to him without his permission (He was even lucky to be born in a sane country and he still sued his parents if he was born in an IDP camp here in Nigeria nko). You want a child to take care of you in old age. Please! No child owes you such care. So if you have children that are always busy for example doctors they should leave their jobs and come and babysit you because. Wake up from your "lala-land" fantasy angry.

someone up their said you don't know how you'll get old. You may not be able to walk, have stroke blabla. If you live a healthy youthful life you shouldn't have problems in your old age. Eat healthy, exercise, don't smoke or drink( if u have to drink responsibly), engage in brain tasking activities, be faithful to your spouse or live a celibate life (you wont die if u never have sex till u die angry , Don't eat like a gluttonous idiot get fat like a buffoon and expect a rosy old age. My grandmother is almost 90 she still does things for herself, she reads and goes to the market to trade even though she has well to do children, she just enjoys going out, walking and relating with people. She was still assigned a house help because you can't expect her children to be coming from their different states of residence to come and be babysitting her.

Some people have nothing yet they give birth to a dozen kids and use that phrase " God that gave them to me will take care of them". You need serious flogging to reset that warped brain of yours idiot angry
Family › Re: What Is The Importance Of Having Children? by missidy:
You are right but it goes beyond just money. You need someone to care for you in old age. My grandma is with us, she has her own money (pension) so she doesn't depend on anyone. But she can't care for herself so much like before. She's old, weak and walks very slow. I also cared for my grandpa before he died. He had his own pension too but couldn't do most things again due to old age. You will need at least one child to care for you in old age, no housemaid will even be able to keep you company like you own child. When you are old, you become like a baby again that can't do most things by himself.

Pinkzebra:
They can't do same because they are also busy taking care of their own kids. The earlier women realize that birthing so much, suffering so much and putting up themselves as sacrificial lambs for their kids is not a meal ticket to that 'awesome' old age they dream of.
Parents , plan your own old age. It is paramount.
Should I tell you what my mum did ? My mum is a selfish good woman. Who has put up things for her old age, she has her own building she hopes to put up for rent once completed , she has her own provision store. And if you promise to send mama money , whether you did or not, she isn't worried , she won't even call to remind you. She's gat her own back. Now that is the type of old age I want , not the type I have to keep calling and chasing them about to give me money to eat.
Mum has always work out things for herself, she has put her hands in many businesses, just so she can be fine on her own.
Gosh, how can one sits and wait for a child you saw growing and fed to turn round and do same for you ?
The bible says a righteous man leave inheritance for his children children. Which means a child shouldn't be the one working hard to care for a parent .
If and when the child grows and he is well off and can afford to buy you things , then that is out of love not out of necessity. The former is joyous , the latter is a burden.

My aunty is still there saying she will get married and give birth to another child. Somebody that is 50 plus, people are just laughing at her. I pity her old age.

2. I have many ways to respond to both of your comment but I will tell you my experience of today at the market. I needed some things for the week, so I went to the market to get my needs. I saw an elderly woman that seem very well aged. She walked very slow and she was hawking, selling broom.

I felt pain and empathy towards the old woman. I am a person that is very sensitive to pain and I could not understand why a woman of this age, is still in an open air market, selling broom.

I asked myself, why? why?

Why is this woman still hawking at this ripe old age?

Because no one cares
