Yes, if some of the money has been saved then there should be a pot of money that can be used as a hardship fund.

Christianity Etc › RCCG GO Claims 'god' Using Covid-19 To Get Attention by mmsen(op):
General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has said God is using Coronavirus to show His power to the world and draw their attention unto Him.

This was part of his Sunday message broadcast live through several platforms globally, in which he assured that those who are truly in Christ Jesus were assured of safety in the midst of the pestilence.

He said the coronavirus contagion was of the Lord and that it could only subside, but not go away completely, adding, “When God revealed that this year the whole world would behave like a convulsing child, He also added that the whole world would be on compulsory holiday.

“Today, all of you can see that holidays are being declared across the world even among powerful nations.”He recalled the message God gave him that RCCG members should fast for 50 days at the beginning of the year, saying the fasting was to guarantee members of safety in God during the pestilence.

“God is using coronavirus to show the world that He is still in control of the affairs of men. This is a public holiday declared from heaven,” he added.

TIL the Abrahamic god is a petulant child.

If your deity is all powerful and all good why does he not show his power by doing something positive?

You've forgotten that computer codes within a machine is different from the pseudo code written in paper. Within the computer machine, codes are expressed in binary states of magnetism, electic charge, optics, etc.

Let's test your level of intelligence and critical thinking. Given a computer, show without another software program that softwares exist in the computer? (You are permitted to even take out the HDD, RAM, ROM etc and subject it to any form of physical examinations)
You are talking about a made up realm, concocted in the mind of imbeciles but think that you are in a position to test anybody's intelligence?

Work on yours first.

And you just wrote a bunch of rubbish up there. As to be expected.

Where is your proof of the spiritual realm? And why do so many of you people who claim religious belief lack integrity?

I don't understand how some people can be so myopic. There are two separate laws that govern the universe. The physical laws, and the spiritual laws.

Spiritual laws will not quench your physical thirst and hunger for food no matter how spiritual you are. And no matter how rich you are, it doesn't absolve you from spiritual consequences.

Corona virus is physical and unless the physical laws are broken, it would require a physical solution
Where is this 'spiritual realm'? Where is the evidence for such?
Christianity Etc › Re: is this a categorical Prove Religiousness Is Vain And Impracticable? by mmsen: 12:30pm On Mar 20, 2020
You told no lies but religion has nothing to do with truth, logic, reason or evidence.

It is about people electing to ignore the above as a tonic for day-to-day life.

Most religious people cannot admit to being drug users but that is what they are.

Eventually there will be total collapse and we will be forced to start afresh without the stupid cultural baggage that has done nothing but destroy this region for several hundred years.

ln the meantime those people are who are not native Nigerians or do not belong to any 'tribe' will continue to feast at the expense of the foolish majority who live in substandard housing, have no pipe borne water, no electricity and smell like generator smoke but want to beat their chest about a language that their grandmothers' taught them or brag because their mothers' tie their imported cloth differently from the people who are barely 50km away (because that's "culture"wink. undecided

I no longer feel pity for people who cause their own suffering.

I hope this scales through quickly. Most the items of the exclusive list are unnecessary. The federal government should be pragmatic and reduce their burden. Police and prisons should both be put in concurrent list together. Let the states pay to house the inmates.

Moving mining from the exclusive list would include oil and gas. They're both covered by the same section of constitution. Besides the constitutional amendment would never pass without including it.

Make sure you contact your representative to support this bill.

That exclusive list is a barrier to progress in Nigeria.

The whole thing needs to be reconsidered and scaled all the way back.

If the north wants to run their Sharia nonsense, let them

But let the south keep the proceeds of their VAT, their oil revenue, their coal and their ingenuity.

This has confirmed that our pastors have succeeded in making the African continent and black men the capital of foolishness and laughing stock of all human races.
The reason this virus spread in Korea is because of similar foolishness.

And there are American pastors who are also resisting the call to end social gatherings.

You need to stop looking at things through such a narrow lens.

Uyo airport can't serve Abia. It is for south south..
I don't care about petty regionalism/tribalism.

I'm talking about basic geography and logistics.

Aba to Uyo is about the same distance as Aba to Umuahia. If you are a businessman in Aba do you really care which region the airport is or will you go with the one that will save you the most time and money?

Not just Imo and Enugu but about 90 minutes from the airport in Uyo.

This is a waste of resources and a ploy to loot. As per usual.
Politics › Re: Abia To Pay Compensation For Land For Airport Project by mmsen:
Why does Abia need an airport? Pure insanity.

Build regional airports and then build proper highways.

Then maintain the damn highways.

Build a comprehensive rail network.

Maintain said rail network.

Every small state does not need an airport.

That is a universal belief. You can't attack Nigerians alone for such nonsense.

The reason it spread from China is because the useless CCP thought they could pretend it wasn't a problem and then watch it miraculously disappear. Italy was equally as clueless. America is going through the same spread made worse by people refusing to stay away from nightclubs, malls and shops. People in the UK have been ignoring calls for social isolation to go to pubs because those people can't live without their alcohol.

No better than xtian beliefs, Islam or the other stupid crap that people believe.
