24SEVEN: But sincerely aren't Akwa Ibomites wasting their resources unnecessarily?
Look at the sparsely populated environment and tell me what vehicular traffic warrants such infrastructure. Can the money be used for something more pressing and/or beneficial.
Why do people who suddenly struck wealth resort to wastages. No, it's smart to make the whole state accessible. That will stop Uyo turning into the glorified, overcrowded slum that Lagos has allowed to become. You don't just deal with present day issues but lay the groundwork to avoid future problems. Something that Lagos has seemingly never done. |

You won't be allowed to build a factory in some countries especially in it's nation's resources. You think it's a good idea to give that much power and responsibility to the entity that is the Gombe state government? Why not spread the burden around so that no one organization has too much power and they can all keep each other honest with the state government doing its part by keeping watch other the private enterprises? |
Politics › Re: Quality Roads Constructed By Governor Yahaya In Gombe (Photos) by mmsen: 7:35am On Jun 04, 2020 |
Tolani0167: It has become a norm and it’s common with northern governors, they think government is about just building roads. Inuwa Yahaya is only paving the road that passes through house and that of his family. When you look closely how many vehicles are passing the suppose pavement. Build factories, enable businesses and make people’s lives better then they can buy vehicles that ply on those roads They would need financing (and know how) to build and sustain those factories. It's easier to build the roads and then allow others who are already in the business of manufacturing to build and maintain factories. Besides, the business of government is provide public services. Roads are such, schools are such, likewise hospitals, power and water. Factories are not. |

Naija246: This is what happens when you forfeit your freedom to a woman all in the name of marriage. I will keep preaching this;men are doing Women a huge favor by marrying them. The benefits of single life to a man outweighs any pros marriage offers.
We live in a world where sex is so cheap and readily available so I don't know why a full grown man will open his two eyes and decide to be a woman's workhorse ... slaving away at some job that he probably hates while she sleeps at home eating, getting fat and watching TV
This man is probably innocent! Everything you said is the truth. That is why women spend so much of their time trying to bully men into marriage. Even if not to them then to somebody that they know. Men do not gain anything from marriage besides grief and stress. |
