I get your point even though a lion is a different case. But you see this belief in ritual and killing for it. It is a very crazy aspect of Yoruba's that I am struggling so hard to not make me hate Yorubas for. How will military personnel be shooting at enemy troops from residential areas and expect them not to return fire because they're in a residential area? I've seen videos of supposed Russian shelling of residential areas. It seems these Ukrainians are actually firing from civilian population with hope russia woodnt fire back. I survived a bank robbery in Ibadan a while ago. My saving grace was because the driver(a woman) asked for my pen to write something and was talking with me playfully. She was very pretty and look well groomed. Yet she was the leader of the robbers and I watched her gun down people in cold blood in that bank. When the operation was about to start, she told me to hide in a corner in the banking hall...and all would be fine. To make matters worse, when the robbery was almost done, she brought me out with her colleagues and even gave me a lift in that car to a certain area,then gave me money to find my way home. I was lucky, right but the women,men and toddler killed that day by her hand were not. They never would have guessed a woman could kill shiit. Why she did that to me, I would never know.
