Why is that everytime a woman commit a crime, the society is alway looking for a way to waive it, emotional sentiment start flowing in, people start diggiing for all silly kind of excuse to blame it on any man involved. are we saying women are saints, and @the mention of rape all crime by women is pardonable or what
Do some of you know the guts it takes to stab a fellow human even just once, it takes alot of nerve & coldheartedness to stab multiple times.
how can anyone see the way he murdered the guy and call that self defense.

That is exactly why the society try to think, because its unnatural for a woman to kill through knives, it takes lots of guts, and the only thing that would give anyone such gut is when the guy has hurt her in an unimaginable way, I will do the same if I was raped by a guy, to hell with him.

You said she didn't forgive your uncle after 20years of marriage, do you know if he attempt to rape her or even raped her? Will you forgive such person after 50years?and she wasn't able to speak or say to anyone, it could be an offence higher than that as well. I saw this happened to a friend after marriage. So please, you can't just assume until you know.

The reason why marriages lasted long was because women of then had high tolerance level. People say for a marriage to work there has to be compromise but what they fail to tell you is that the compromise has to come from the woman.


The african culture believes the woman holds the key to keep a home and a marriage( even though there are two people in a marriage), religion hasn't spared us from those teachings. So from childhood the girl child was brainwashed with such teachings , both onthe religious and traditional fonts .


But then over the years, the girl child began to see all the sacrifice all the tolerance our mothers had to put up with ,had to wait till old age to be appreciated by children not spouse ,then the world turned a global village ,the door for divorce was open and it was no longer an abomination or family dishonor to leave ones husband's house. People turned less traditional and less religious and realized heaven didn't fall . So there you have it.

Let me add to what you have said
In the past, the women were only concerned about being in Union, being attached, but now, women understand the meaning of marriage which should be pleasure and happiness for both parties.
Women then had high tolerance for slavery, women now, don't want to be enslaved because we now have many good men that treat their wives like a partner not a slave, women now know they deserve such type of men or be single in peace.

Well, marriages lasted then because what they practised wasn't marriage but Union, where the sole aim is for it to last whether they are happy, sad, almost dead etc.

From the comments, I can see that nairalanders are partial in judgement and there's an unhealthy hatred for women, that's why they couldn't see that the message he showed points to nothing.
It could be any offence that she's begging the husband for, and there,it shows the man left home without returning as at due,and the wife took action against him.

She was the one that called police, lawyer, and took the child to the doctor, she's also the one that said they are all working for her husband. Does it mean the husband is that famous and connected that no matter who she meets, they all work for her husband?

I first believed her because I thought no one would be that wicked and make such allegation against a fellow human being, now I think its possible if she's having a psychiatry problem.

It is true that when people stop being under the sun and start enjoying life, their skin could become brighter, and less tanned. Many atimes, sun light and stress makes melanin to be deposited our skin higher.
But this doesn't mean a dark person will become two shades lighter, but its possible to be a shade lighter depending on genetics (some people's skin are capable of highly tanning under stress and sun).
Also, lacking some vitamins in the body could make an individual to be more susceptible to tanning (melanin deposition) which could be solved when an individual start eating well

But truth is that,most people that become lighter after wealth or abroad doesn't go many shades lighter and it would be visible that it wasn't aided by creams as you will see the element of a lighter shade even when they were dark, what I'm saying is that when they were dark, people would easily attribute their dark skin colour to suffering and know that if they become rich,they would look brighter.
As for children turning black when they become adults, this is natural as our genetical features do not manifest all at once, it becomes more pronounced as one ages. Thus, if someone was light skinned as a child, it doesn't mean it was the sun that darken them as an adult, that's their skin colour. Almost all babies would be pinkish at birth,and fairer as children

I have checked your profile and I can see that you are interested in doing many things. However, trying to be a freelancer in Canada is going to be an uphill task. You will have to compete with many Asians and White People on Freelancer.com, Guru.com, Upwork.com etc. And you won't get jobs all the time . You will be paying a lot of bills in Canada, you know. Let me tell you how you can be successful in Canada.

1. Start a business especially a Cleaning Business. Cleaners are always in demand even in the remote Cities and Towns of developed nations like Canada, UK, USA, France, Denmark, Australia, New Zealand etc. One Chinese friend of mine was telling me about the successes of Cleaning Businesses in China.
2. Don't be afraid to be a Cleaner in Canada. You can work for a cleaning company for 6 Months to get the experience you need. Do not work more than 6 Months for a Cleaning Agency or Company. Then you can start you own Cleaning Business. Can you drive? How old are you? There is no competition when it comes to the Cleaning Business abroad. It is seen as a dirty job and a low level paying job, but it is not true. The cleaning business will open you to a lot of opportunities, trust me . Most of your Clients for domestic cleaning will be Asians, South Americans, Africans ( Somali, Eritreans, Ethiopians etc ) etc. Whites will only employ you for office cleaning contracts. Just get your van and cleaning equipment and get two workers. When you clean homes, you will be given things the owners don't want again. These things will generate extra money for you if you send them to Nigeria and they are sold here. Send them by Sea .
3. Don't you want to work for yourself in Canada? You have a big Canada in your hands to explore. Try and see how much cleaning companies and agencies are charging per hour and come down a little on the price . Don't be like 98% of Nigerians in Canada. Be different. Work hard at the Cleaning Business and you will have your own list of Clients and Customers. If your Customers see that you are good, they will introduce you to their neighbours, friends, extended family members, cousins, co-workers etc. It is an adventure that rewards well, I tell you . I remember one day travelling to Igbo ora in Oyo state, our car got spoilt and some villagers had to take us in, telling us if we had spent 30minutes more around there, we would surely be kidnapped by the Fulani's. Everyone, started sharing their own horrific stories with Fulani heardsmen around the area, they said once it is 9pm they will bring their cows to the express road and start either robbing or kidnapping people. That's how bad the Fulani's can be, and unlike other tribe kidnapping gangs, there's a high percentage of death when you are kidnapped, whether they collect money or not, they can still decide to kill you. As someone that has witnessed this, I wouldn't say the Fulani's were innocent.

I asked the question, is it possible for that to happen in any area in the North, I'm sure it will only take them a day to destroy and kill all the Yoruba's in the area
