That one na him problem... My own is, if actually Dino Melaye posted a picture of his youth service in 1999. How come ABU VC now said he graduated with B.A in Geography in 2000huh
Abeg, shey dem don dey do service before graduation now againhuh
Dino captioned his NYSC picture "ABU 99 Set". The caption didn't say he served in 1999.

I was Uniben 2006 set, My NYSC was in Oct 2007. My B.Sc certificate reads May 2007.

Do you understand now?

As much as it pains me that someone like Dino is in the senate, truth be told Sowore fvcked up

You said he didn't graduate, Melaye brought his statement of result

Then you started shouting that he didn't graduate "well" that he connived with his LATE HoD to graduate any-how-ly undecided

I mean this kind of any-where-belle-face news is only seen on dailies like Obio-Akpor Weekly not Sahara Reporters nah embarassed

For your information, those women didn't get there because they are Biafrans. First, it was because they worked hard for themselves, and secondly because they're blacks and Nigerians.

And mind you, they aren't as daft as you are. Otherwise, they would've been on the streets, protesting, fighting for one lousy Biafra. But they are well educated individuals, who know what they want in life, and not blindly following one albino from oversea who will be deceiving them.

WebmastersRe: 9 Most In-demand Programming Languages by monex(m): 9:56am On Mar 24, 2017
daamazing:
As the SQL acronym pronounces, it is a language. It offers looping, logic directives, variables, and so on. Now, it’s not a language in the same sense as, say, Java or C++: SQL is considered a fourth-generation language (4GL), whereas Java and C++ are third-generation languages (3GLs).
Fourth-generation languages are programming languages that are closer to human language than high-level languages like Java. These 4GLs are often used to accessdatabases, such as SQL, where humanlike syntax is used to retrieve and manipulate data.

just say it is descriptive rather than procedural.

some people consider descriptive languages to NOT be classified as programming languages but the general school of thought is that any instaruction to the computer is a programming language.

There are some things that are simply unexplainable. Efe is one of such. Aside the stunt he pulled on stage when going in, nothing special about him. He can't sing, he can't rap (actually he should consider comedy cos rapping ain't his calling), can't dance, not out spoken etc. But somehow he resonates with Nigerians who celebrate mediocrity cos he keeps saying he is poor as if big brother house is a salvation army. Sadly, he will win
because in a reality (rather than Talent hunt) show, people look out for people who are secure and comfortable in their skin.

what is it with this efe? I think he is over hyped. he is fucking boring
the dude is actually as real and plain as possible even though a bit boring.

In a world were people are insecure and act up and play all sorts of game, someone who is comfortable in his skin stands out.

Dude is lucky his personality (humility, self confidence, Charity etc.) stands him out

Housemates who are in the house want themselves to win but I can bet housemates who have been evicted will prefer Efe winning.

Truth is only Bisola can rival him in that show. The others will not get close. I think Bisola will come first while he will come second unless Bisola adds more negative drama/scandals to her repertoire

Saintp:
PMB does not want Magu but wants the job of removing him to fall on others, that has been his style. He tries to play saint in controversial issues but use proxies to get his way. Otherwise did he not see the report from DSS before it got to the Senate? Or is DSS now above his authority?
well another reason could be that he does not want to be seen to be interfering - just like Saraki's emergence as SP

but I agree, that in this case the DSS reports to you and he cannot claim not to have known. I suspect there is in-fighting in the APC and in the Presidency
TV/MoviesRe: Bbnaija: Online Poll Puts Efe In Clear Lead by monex(m): 4:50pm On Mar 15, 2017
RaggedyAnn:
Allow me make you my matter this morning, bro, because I would love to see you converted. I know when most people look at Debie-Rise, they see a scruffy, black girl who is so classless that she doesn't mind de-repping herself with Bassey. And suddenly everything she does is irritating, even the guitar playing which (admit it) she does beautifully. People attack her dress-sense and make-up and generally call her a 'bush girl'.

Personally, that in itself makes me sad because I hate to see people bullied. And with Debie, it strikes a particular chord because she genuinely TRIES. Yes, maybe too hard but trying too hard is a measure of the respect one has for an endeavor.

Debie Rise may not be as beautiful as you'd like, or as fair, or as clean. She's certainly not as striking as Tboss. But she has a desire to appeal to people and she puts herself out there, this takes serious courage. In campaigning for likes to Bassey, she talked about how people didn't normally pick her for anything in spite of her effort to be friendly. But she didn't retreat into her shell, she kept trying because she likes people. She doesn't let her ego get in the way. If we didn't have people like this in the world...........

It's obvious that she has self-esteem issues, but that isn't her fault; it's the job of our parents to make us feel like we are the center of the universe. But some parents, in trying to teach humility, can get it twisted and leave us without much confidence in our own mettle. I am sure some people can relate to her condition. But even so, she's stood up for herself on occasion and, in any case, it would be kinder to show love instead of criticizing this trait.

She's also really talented, musically. She is Intelligent and passionate as shown in her ONE presentation, even if her articulation needs work. She's a hard and conscientious worker and she's a truly kind individual.

Please allow her get through to you and see her for the beautiful person she is. VOTE DEBIE RISE.
True she has low self-esteem but, in music, she is the most talented in the house. You will see her transform to a Diva when she joins Mavin records.

most means over 50%.

even if i assume you are taking a small sample of those you know, did you confirm that over 50% of those you know are gay or you fall into the common trap of a hasty generalization?

I see others including catholics and muslims doing generalizations about other religions/denominations too though.
Christianity EtcRe: Nigerian Women Testify Against Catholic Priest Who Wanted To Rape Them by monex(m): 9:32am On Mar 15, 2017
Ttrrffyyghuuh:
I read that story but i didn't see a case of rape there, he tried to "sweet-talk" you into getting your panties down, rape is "forced" its a strong word, and i believe as an adult she should know how and when to use it. But seeing its a clergyman his actions are still condemn-able

Been a Catholic I would naturally be annoyed and on the defensive when such allegations are put forward .

On one hand, let truth be told, it wouldn't be fair to vilify the victims especially if their allegations are true , rather all our indignation should be directed towards those who would pull the Catholic and Christian faith as a whole .to the mud.

I can only sympathize with the victims..

On the other hand lets not be quick to dispense judgment, yes they are men of God but they are as human as any of us, priests especially .

Most of us cannot do without sex for a month, male or female, some a year, these men go a lifetime, for God's sake not for money..many of these priests are assigned to remote villages to evangelize, turns out it's the villagers who solicit help from them when there's barely enough for them to feed, they have to go and beg from the bigger parishes for their poorer parishioners, (we see them all the time)

Jesuit priests work and earn money
Same with opus dei priests and numeraries..so unlike many others denominations catholic priests aren't after money.. their work and sacrifices over the centuries has spoken for them both the priests and especially the nuns who have taken care of the sick and poor for ages past till present. (foster homes, hospitals and schools for poor and disabled, free catholic attorneys to take up cases for the oppressed (jdpc) and some many others....... her works speak for her)

Their motive is pure, but they falter and we pray for them. It's not easy

My only consolation is the fact that mother church has stood for 2000yrs and would stand for thousands more.

It's older than the ancestors of our ancestors and will see the unborn generations of our unborn generations. Because Its built on Christ directly, the blood of the martyrs and sacrifices of saints. No be today scandal start to rock am, no be tomorrow e go stop but e go still strong.no be roadside Pentecostal church, e old pass Islam sef, 600 years older, no be your mate.

Again I truly sympathize with the victims and pray they get through their trauma and strongly condemn any such lascivious or wanton lifestyle of clergymen, especially in this period of lent
I could not have put it better. Our obedience to the Church and to Christ obliges us to put our sympathies with the victims and not with the priest/clergy.

the Pope is passing the message attributed to St. Francis "Preach the gospel always, and if necessary, use words". A message that calls us to live like Christ and bear fruits.

For me, population census is stupid. There should be a way of registering all nigerians in a one collective data base so to avoid contoversy and age falsification. And identity a nigerian must have just to use anything like a social security number.
exactly. at a time when we need a sense of nationalism more than ever, Govt plans to do an religion/ethnicity census.

The question will be what the information will be used for and then the falsification will begin.

As a last resort approach, I even pray that future generations are only able to speak english and can only trace their roots to their state of birth/location rather than parents origin in order to solve this tribalism in Nigeria.

Nope...ethnicity is more definite than state of origin. Till now all we've seen are bogus claims from all quarters of Nigeria on how many millions they're... This would put to rest all such claims
the problem is trust. Census figures will be heavily falsified.

I am not generalizing please. If 98% of what I called to be a "hypothesis" is true, then it is no longer a hypothesis but a fact and a theory. I have read about three comments here and all the comments are actually filled with tribalism and hatred. In fact, one went ahead as far as saying he blamed her for marrrying a cheating Afonja . Some one mentioned me and asked me which sane Igbo will go ahead getting married to a Yoruba? Anyways, truth is actually difficult to take to heart.
Bro I am neither yoruba nor igbo but i assure you that the tribalism is from both sides.

if you read a lot of threads here, you will see it is from both sides.

TWait, what has ethnicity got to do with their marriage problem? Why is it that everything in Nigeria is about ethnicity even when the person is wrong? They say Yoruba gals dnt like dating Igbos, now I know why. Why would a sane person date people that will always put the blame on them because they happen not to be from thesame dialect. Stop hiding under pretense and say you are praying for them, if really you are, you won't have been writing this nonsense
just so you know, you are guilty (the generalisation in bolded) of what you accused the other party of. you generalise the guy's ethnic blame syndrome on all igbos.
