Oho, you see it now, you guys will soon be accused of hatred, for pointing out the ill's. You will soon be labeled Ijaw haters. This is after paranbulating round the world with 23 of her paddies. Madam well done, you sabi chop money |
Dont worry Oga GJ will take care of them. Have faith. GJ really has a lot of work to do, and he better be clued up. this is just the tip of the iceberg. Boko Haram wahala Kidnapping troubles Economy failing Militants restless Governors Chopping |
@Beaf, Why dont you address the issue at hand. Patience travel go America with 23people, how far? |
@Beaf, You would have gained a lot of respect, if you simply admitted that Oga GJ wife got it wrong, then we move on from there, But to simple sit here are defend the indefensible is just comedy. Please tell us what about this story is right? |
@PJ supporters, why dont you explain what she was doing there with so many people, instead of insulting people. She has used the countries money to make enjoyment, and we should not question it. Una try |
How can we ever have sincere politicians, when as a people we are not prepared to face up to the rubbish politics that exists in our country. We see a good man, but we dont want him because he cannot win. What a country, as the saying goes, Nigerians get the leaders they deserve |
@labiyemmy I would have you know that David Cameron did not attend this UN meeting, sent his lapdog instead, and while I was watching I did not see 120 delegates excort the Deputy Prime minister. What a difference, and this is from a country who is a permanent member of the UN security council and far wealthier than we are. |
@Faceact, So if GJ was a certified child molester, you will support him because he comes from your area. Please be objective, this has very little to do with GJ the person, but the sheer waste that is going on in Nigeria. If you truly had the interest of Nigeria at heart (which I doubt), you will condemn waste no matter who, so stop all this Hate thing because it doesnt exist. |
@Beaf, This is getting too much, you can disgree without resorting to insults. Why the Idiot bit? was that necessary, we must all learn to grow beyond trading insults when we disagree |
@Na So, the article actually listed 23 for PJ, the other 4 and for Sambo's wife. check the article again. Listen guys we can sit here and point fingers, the fact remains that there was massive waste, whether we like it or not, and that remains the key issue. PJ had absolutely no reason to be traveling with more than 2 or 3 aides at most, she wasnt going to be giving a speak or setting up new home, all that waste does not look good for her husband |
Come oh, has anyone seen Beaf around, maybe he is locked in serious talks with his uncle on how they will repair yet another embarrasment from Madam Patience, last time she was busy fighting in PH, now she is booging with out money |
@labiyemmy My Post says 23 accompany Patience Jonathan, and the article lists the 23people, Yet you insist on me name 120 people. you have started distraction tactics. Let me state it here, I have nothing against GJ, funny enough I like him as a person, but that wont stop me as a Nigerian first critisizing waste and undue excess, I would do the same to any othe candidate, so you guys should grow up. Nobody is a kid anymore, if we see wrong we must all be bold and brave enough to spell it out, even when we dont like it |
Deadender. Let him go and rest, all the money wey im chop for road-block never do am. Big thief, soon he will have to come and tell us how he got the money to buy PDP Form. |
@Gbawe, I heard that over the weekend, and I thought it was a joke. But I have been saying it for years, that Nigeria as a country is broke. As a country of 150m people, the sort of money we bring in is nothing compared to other developing or developed countries. But there you have it, 12Bn on independence day celebration, 87BN on voters register (that will fail), $150m for Oga's 3 new jets, as if that is not enough, Madam carries her friends to NY for a big spend all party. Well done Nigeria @50, no money to conduct elections |
@warrior01 I gave you 2 sources, why did you discard the other. Dont shoot the messenger, read the article and make up your decision. As far as I am concered, there is an element of truth in what they say, But as usual, we are very good at turning a blind eye, when it concerns on of ours. The day Nigerians choose to be true to themselves is the day our country will move forward. As for now, Mr Presendents wife can recklessly spend the countrys money that belongs to you are I, and you will keep defending her. Well done |
@labiyemmy It would be nice if you could ask 234Next and saharareporters who carried the story the question, if you doubt it. I wounder if you would be questioning the validity of the information if it was IBB or Buhari. Just wondered |
Why dont you guys read the article before you conclude that the names were made up. As usual we are not ready to face up to real issues that pleague our country |
How can we justify this kind of waste. Things never change in that country. By Musikilu Mojeed September 27, 2010 12:05AM printemail Twenty-three of the 120-man delegation that accompanied Goodluck Jonathan to New York for the United Nations General Assembly were aides and friends of his wife, Patience, presidency sources told NEXT yesterday. Among aides of the president’s wife on the trip were her steward, Benson Okpara; her luggage officer, Geoffrey Obuofforibo and her special assistant in charge of administration, Oroyemisi Ojewole. In addition to the five security operatives that accompanied her husband on the journey, Mrs Jonathan flew her own separate security team to New York. There were her aide-de-cap, Jacob Tamunoibuomi; her orderly, Abigail Jonah, and Francis Ibiene, her chief security officer. Although Mr Jonathan’s chief physician, F. Fiberesima, was on the trip, Mrs Jonathan reportedly insisted on taking her own personal physician, Elizabeth Austin-Amadi, along with her. Also on the president wife’s party were her director of protocol, Mfama Abam; her principal protocol officer, Nuhu Kwache; her special assistant, domestic matters, Martha Onwuzurumba; her special assistant, media, Aliagan Zubair and another media assistant, Ayobami Adewuyi. Four friends of Mrs Jonathan also made the trip. They were Bola Shagaya, Joyce Bozimo, Pelebo Banigo and Musa Ujah. Helen Mark, wife of the President of the Senate; Mariam Imoke, wife of Cross River State governor; Fatima Shema, wife of the Katsina State governor; Oluwakemi Alao-Akala, wife of the Oyo State governor and Clara Chime, wife of the Enugu State chief executive, completed Mrs Jonathan’s party to New York. Realm of absurdity Mrs Mark also took two of her aides, Ogwuiji Clement and Omeche Omudu, along. The vice president’s wife, Amina Sambo, was accompanied on the journey by her aide-de-camp, Abubakar Dauda; her principal protocol officer, Zayyad Abdulsalam and her personal assistant, Dabo Suleiman. The Nigerian Constitution does not recognise the offices of First Lady at the federal and state levels. But wives of presidents and governors, even local government chairpersons, have continued to maintain huge offices, a retinue of aides and financial allocations that are never retired. Over 30 aides are believed to work for Mrs Jonathan alone. Executive Director of the Nigeria Liberty Democratic Forum, Bukola Oreofe, on Sunday described Mrs Jonathan’s conduct as “obscene use of public funds”. “What she did ranks very high in the realm of absurdity,” Mr Oreofe said. “I am not surprised that his wife, who has no constitutional duties, would do that in the midst of the misery and poverty that the average Nigerian is languishing.” http://234next.com/csp/cms/sites/Next/News/5623766-147/23_accompany_jonathans_wife__.csp |
which means there will be no one left, that is if Efcc do a good job. |
Funny enough this same problem is being played out in Most states. look at Delta, no difference, Ibori and his Brother have stolen the place dry, yet he still wants to come back, and I am not hearing anything about a credible opposition. |
PDP at it again, they breed devils and call them governors, I can swear this guys used to be the Chief Agbero in Sapela motor park, but here he is ruling a people |
@Orangeman, No vex, I hadnt drank my morming coffee, I knew u would come in and complete the list. Lets not forget the pillar of thief-thief Odili. There serious arguments in certain quarters that he rivalled Ibori. But I doubt it, the whole crop is rotten to the core and I fail to see how one good seed can come out of there. |
@Otokx, why do you think so? |
@Beaf, What is it again? is there no end to you. You realy think that PDP is better than ACN right? Well this time around you have hung yourself with the way you think. Tinubu according to you is worse than Ibori, meanwhile your Ijaw leader will not rest until he puts Ogridigbodigbo in a bird cage. Now let us take roll call of Big Thieve and killers 1: Ibori 2: IBB 3: Atiku 4: Anenih 5: Saraki 6: Uduaghan 7: Sylva Just to name but a few. The list is endless |
Na today? Anybody wey dey find hired assassins, go there, if Na Armed robbers you want, check them out, what about big-time thief-thief / state embezzeler/ Phone dem. Mass murders nko? what about fraudstars, 419, wayorist, jigbity masters? Dem full there. Dem even get bleaching gods, fanta face, coke nyash. Now, will anyone in thier right mind take such a collection of "what is so rotten about our society" seriously? Abeg oh, oga GJ quick quick distance yourself oh, if not dirty sheet go stain you |
@Truly, You have really captured my feelings on this whole issue. To be honest I tire for we Nigerians. In one had we want change, but on the other we are not prepared to do what it takes to bring change. The sort of things I hear is that Pat cant win, so I wont support him. this was the same lame excuse I heard in 2007. I unashamedly supported and voted for Pat, and at that time I knew that Yar-Adua, no matter how well intentioned he was could not perform, but I got heckled and abused, some giving me the same excuse we hear now, that he was not corrupt and had done well for Katsina. It was very clear to me, that PDP would not let him perform, well the rest is history. I think the same applies now. PDP remains an evil threat to that country. Look at all the PDP controlled states besides maybe Rivers. People just dont get it, we are busy talking our the presidency, what about the states. Its so sad to see. |
@Aisha2, Yes oh, and the Ribadu train is gradually gathering steam |
He cant, becuase he belongs to a Party notorious like Armd robbers for corruption. Abi is he going to go after Ohakim, Uduaghan, Sylva, Just to name but a few? Big Conflict of Interest, instead he is going to spend 4yrs feathering the PDP nest |
@Gbawe, shey you have joined the TeamRibadu Volunteers group on facebook. |
The problem I have it that once one doesnt agree with Beaf, you are instantly labeled TRIBALIST or in my case Ijaw hater. I fail to see how GJ No matter how good intentioned he might be, can make any impact, as long as he remains in the Evil Party PDP |
Its a real shame we are on here debating why someone like Pat cannot win, rather than why someone like Pat should be supported and giving all the tools he needs to succeed. You know this is the biggest problem we have in Nigeria, we dont know how to be true to ourselves. As Nigerian, we have not arrived at a position that we can truly claim that we know what is best for us. We are still struggling with the poormans mentality. How can anyone in thier right mind, think that a Party like PDP, who has been in power for almost 12yrs and have totally wrecked our country, can breed any good. There is really no way any leader from that party can honestly tackle the difficult issues of this country, there is bound to be extreme conflict of interest. How do you tell the Godfathers and Governors that you are coming after them, when they supported your candidacy. There is just no way. How can there ever be an honest attempt to resolve deep issues, if you owe serious favours to the people you might have to go after? it just doesnt work But you know what, that is the Nigeria we all live in |
@Udezue, My bro you are rigght. Nigerians truly dont know what they want. |
