RomanceRe: Lies, Secrets & Love by Moonstone(f): 12:44am On Mar 08, 2009
I think all the guys on this thread are liars. . . why is every guy here in support of this?
Not one guy is saying it's true to get it all out there in the open. I guess this proves that guys are ALWAYS hiding something.

do you know how hard it is to lose weight?

A lil fight here and there keeps it stronger too cool cool
I know how hard it is. . .
he should tell me that in a sweet way and he won't get a rebuttal.

I can imagine you running after your man with a broomstick for telling you of the extra 5 pounds u gained grin grin
I would not do that at all! I'll lose the weight but first I would only remind him of how his shirts are little too snug on his tummy area these days.  cheesy cheesy
DaPhoenix:
I feel you, really. I think basically don't expect from others what you can't give to them yourself. If you can't be faithful, don't have hopes for your partner to be faithful. If you are the faithful type, set high standards for yourself in terms of what you'll stand for in your partner.
Exactly! You need to know the kind of guy you're dating and you need to be open with him.
I know what I can stand in a man and sadly, I sometimes lower my standards and it's gotten me absolute crap so now I'm sticking to my standards and all. If you can take a man cheating, go for that. . . if not, tell him there's no room for that.

RomanceRe: Lies, Secrets & Love by Moonstone(f): 12:15am On Mar 08, 2009
DaPhoenix:
While that is so true, certain situations need truth and others are better without. For example, you go to the club alone and because of the music you missed a call from your man. The next day, he asks what happened last night . . . Oh I was watching a movie downstairs and left my phone under my pillow in my bed upstairs.

Nothing's hidden, I'm still a virgin.
I know some need truth. But lying is lying. . . by omission or deed.
When I go clubbing, I will tell my man. He needs to be able to understand that I am not going to get a man cos I'm content with him.
If such a little as clubbing can disrupt your relationship, I think you should think twice about that relationship.

DaPhoenix:
lol, I am so confused.

I'm in no way advocating for lies, but there is a chance if he told you something as difficult at that time, you might have blown it out of proportion
Then what are you advocating for? You wanna hear the truth when your 4th kid is in college?
Honesty is important in relationships and until you know how to put that in your relationship, you will have problems if you find out.
When I get pissed at a guy's action, I actually take time out to fume all I want before saying stuff or breaking up with him.

But sometimes, he could be hiding something to spare your feelings or because he is scared of losing you. Gosh, I don't even know what side I'm on.
I was going to say that too  cheesy but what could he be hiding to spare my feelings?
That he cheated on me with some girl? If I find that out, i will raise hell with him.
That he lied about something before we started dating? I will kill him.
I would rather a man be a man and step up. If you're going to do something wrong like getting drunk and waking up on some other girl, you might as well be a man and bear the consequences. If he was scared of losing me, he would tell me before I find out because NOTHING is hidden on this earth. Somehow, lies come back to haunt you most times.
RomanceRe: Lies, Secrets & Love by Moonstone(f): 11:40pm On Mar 07, 2009
Someone can lie to you and keep stuff from you and keep telling himself that he loves you but he doesn't know that he doesn't love you.
I can't stand people that lie to me at all. I find it a lot of fun though when I discover that he was lying to me during the relationship AFTER we have broken up.
For me, it's a relief to know that my instincts were very right.
RomanceRe: Is My Boyfriend Right To Complain About The Way I Dress? by Moonstone(f): 11:38pm On Mar 07, 2009
At 26, I would say that dress sense is very very conservative. What da heck? Does he want you in some maternity gown or what?
HeatFusion:
Jeans is now unladylike? huh

Since when did you lose your mind that your bf has to tell you what to wear?

funny tho', it was that song (Nigerian Girls) that made me take notice of that M9 sef. He's good - M.I.'s just better! No beef involved. cool
LOL! Exactly. . . it hurts me when people compare them to each other cos Mode9 is such a veteran compared to M.I. I only don't like Mode9 as much as before but when it comes to him, I'm sipping no hatorade. I respect him doing his thing but I think M.I. is just better like you said.
you guy's are so funny - you contend that these guys have no business in the music industry, yet they make millions from being in the music industry, so where else would you say they should be? Someone even said Diddy shouldnt be in the industry, what a funny thing to say. make una stay there while dem from una nose continue raking in millions while you sit down there writting rubbish.
Diddy did not make his main money from his OWN music which is why I said he has no business doing that. He made most of it from forming bands on MTV and having his own record label as well as stuff like Sean John. He should stick to being behind scenes. I just saw a clip of his and that guy is raving mad.

MI has more intellectual power than mode 9 and is a far more superior lyricist , MI is up there with the greatest of all time, and the funny thing is that the guy has given us a quarter of his installed capacity yet

PoliticsRe: I Don't Believe The Problem With Nigeria Is Our Leaders by Moonstone(f): 10:02pm On Mar 07, 2009
I cannot agree to such a statement.
The problem of this whole thing started long ago with the way the British people invaded our country. Yes Leaders are a part of the problem and yes so are the people. i refuse to point fingers at one group of people and blame them for what all of us have uniquely caused hand-in-hand. At this minute, both the leaders and the people are to blame thought majority of the blame goes to the leaders.

Do I sense a hint of disloyalty here?

I think it's crazy that y'all see TO as the source of the problems of the Cowboys. I never thought ESPN would be this biased over sports. I'm kinda disappointed in them.

Yeah! It's funny as heck. Monika too is funny from what I heard. I don't remember it too well. It's sad that Junior (I think) is dead. One of them sha died. I found it hilarious back then but watching it now, I find it more hilarious. The kind of dress Bolanle wore.

I also like Blakky's Rosey. . . when Khanye comes back maybe he could put that as well.
