Things Fall Apart. What has darkness got to do with light? See Jesus for sale to the highest bidder at Christ Embassy!!! |
Hmmmn, HBS typically admits kids of the Nigerian business elite; to those peeps, N40mm isn't really a big deal. Some take loans (especially because interest rates are pretty low at the moment), others have partial scholarships but I know many that pay cash. |
I personally think Oando is just a glorified scam, all its profits and posing is all paid for by fuel subsidies. |
That's what he gets for wanting an "A" he didn't study for! Let him carry over the course jo! The lecturer no force am do anything. |
$ugardaddy:Are you insane? Would you let a man treat your own daughter and sister like this? Get out of here with this foolishness. |
rhymz:Yes. Exactly the same way boko haram, student-prostitution and horrible roads were nipped in the bud! Like homosexual people were knocking on church and mosque doors asking to get married! Like homosexuals sell their own babies for chicken change! Now that you have banned g.a.y marriage, I hope Nigeria stops its slow but sure descent into a mad house. |
Your husband has absolutely no respect or love for you and you shouldn't be trying to bring a child into this horrible marriage. He murders your first child and then continues to desecrate your body?!! Haba! Why are some women so battered and beaten that they become bingo dogs?! Don't you have a father or brother? Or are you an orphan that has never seen an ounce of affection? Why are you putting up with this rubbish? God forbid anyone of my sisters go through this horror. |
The real tragedy here is that we never see comments this vitriolic about Nigeria's corrupt and inept politicians. Nigerians and their misplaced priorities! ![]() |
Lies. LOL |
Yes, there are many jobs in Nigeria that pay even more than N1mm/month. Just make sure it's a reputable multinational company. The worst that can happen is that you pack your bags and go back after a year. Good luck! |
Love this thread!!!! |
Some women don't deserve to be happily married. What kind of nonsense is this? The OP is clearly a mugu. God forbid bad thing! |
This makes no sense at all, I don't think I have ever met a tall Ghanaian guy and we are definitely taller on average than the Chinese. |
Best thread on nairaland in a long time! ![]() |
They look like tacky circus performers! So Sad. ![]() |
Perhaps your Mum knows you're gay? In that case, you definitely shouldn't be getting married to a woman. |
SFB is my grandmother!!!!!!!!!!!! In fact, I am eating a huge slice of cake on Queen Victoria's personal dish and with the royal silver fork. ![]() Who is this Randle person claiming to be my family? Mama Victoria is my mum, so shut-up and stop spreading lies! |
So is this Aregbesola's solution to Osun State's intractable poverty and state brokeness? LOL! A fool leading a pack of fools over the cliff. |
So many cab drivers have lost their lives in the DMV area. It's just ridiculously tragic! How do these dirt-poor drug-addicts find guns? America is just an upside down civilization that's on its last gasp. |
These Texas Igbos don come again with their endless drama. Chei! |
I.D.I.O.T. President giving I.D.I.O.T. advice. Ignore the very real risk that your business investment might be blown up by illiterate Muslims? What kind of advice is that? |
maclatunji:Asset prices in high-brow areas are still unrealistic overpriced. Most of them were built with stolen and VERY patient money. The owners won't reduce prices unless faced with a severe liquidity crunch. Prices on the Lekki axis still have a very long way to fall. VI/Ikoyi are just sepulchers for entombing inflated egos and for extorting terrified expatriates. Don't be so sure about making decent returns in middle-class/upper-middle class neighborhoods. Landlords are often better off putting their monies in fixed deposits than spending a small fortune in impoverished neighborhoods that can't support good rental income. I know from personal experience. Spending N15mm on a property that only generates N1.6mm p.a. in Nigeria (excl. maintenance costs and agent fees) is NOT a good business proposal in Nigeria's insane interest rate regime. Never again! |
Too much money chasing around the few properties in choice neighborhoods. Generally a bad idea to invest in high-brow areas these days - the assets are just grossly over-inflated. |
Going abroad does not guarantee you a better future oh. Lots of Nigerians abroad living in disgraceful conditions but hiding it from their folks back home. The only guarantee you get by going abroad is relative security, 24hr electricity and good infrastructure but you'll pay through your nose for it after paying ~35% of your income in taxes. Going abroad only makes sense for Nigerians living in poverty. Don't make the foolish mistake of leaving a good job to face a shaky future abroad. So many Nigerians are shedding bitter tears abroad but can't come back because of shame. |
I weep for your husbands (or future husbands)! Chei! |
That ugly boy is no model! The marriage should be dissolved on the basis of dishonesty and false representation. |
Prophesies are real but you have to test the spirits and tread carefully. Here are a few examples in my own life (this isn't hear-say): - My neighbour married a man despite the prophesy that he has a short lifespan. She ignored the prophesy because she was in her late thirties. The man died in a car accident on their only child's first birthday. - My cousin was madly in love with a woman that every man of God that prayed with his parents spoke against. He decided to fast and pray over the weekend about the issue. On the third night, his girlfriend manifested herself physically in his room dressed like a mad woman and holding a huge knife. He called on Jesus and she fled. The girlfriend that had professed undying love for him just the week before never called him again after that weekend. It's like she just disappeared. My cousin is now happily married to another woman. I can go on and on about prophesy and its role in my life and in the life of my family. Of course, for every genuine prophesy, there are 5 fakes. Be careful out there. |
Given Nigeria's notoriously poor maintenance culture, this is only a quick way to exterminate Nigerians en-masse! Our enemies will rejoice at the news! The Americans will promptly decontaminate the region after the nuclear disaster and secure direct access to the oil. A win-win situation for the world! |
Can everyone also include the location of the sighting in their replies? |
When was the building built? cHINEKE! |
