Politics › What You Should Know Concerning High Cost Of Goods In Nigerian Markets Today by mormoney85(op): 12:12pm On Oct 15, 2021 |
Dollars and herdsmen apart, do you know that our governors are one of the reasons food stuffs and other items in our markets today are so expensive? Let me break it down to you, those local food stuffs in our markets today are not produced with dollars so dollars don't have much impact in their price even the imported ones suppose not be as expensive as they are today but our governors made them so all in rhe name of revenue do u travel by road? If you do have you asked ur self those hefty young boys you see on the high way armed with sticks and other dangerous weapons what are their jobs, nothing , the state governors put then there to collect money from all the motorists transporting goods from one state to another south east is the worst Anambra is the capital of all types of touts today, and onitsha is the headquarters, now my question is this, why should state governments block federal roads to collect revenue, are the roads owned and maintained by the state government or federal government, if the road is bad the state government will tell you that it is federal road so therefore they cannot fix it, but they can mount touts on the same federal roads to collect revenue my opinion i think federal government should order all the touts to vacate federal roads with immediate effect and also order state to remit all the money they have collected all the while into federal accounts
As am typing this right now a truck load of goods will not pas at head bridge onitsha not until he pays not less than fifteen to twenty thousand naira to touts and we have plenty of them on the road before u get to ur destination
Sorry for some wrong English and typo errors in my writ up |
Politics › Re: Fakeye Olufemi: Carpenters, Taxi Drivers Should Pay Tax — They Make Money by mormoney85(m): 10:51am On Oct 15, 2021 |
chatinent: It irks me to realize my weak carpenter grandfather in the village who buys trees and turns them into logs, then to chairs used for public schools will have to be paying taxes...after he pays taxes indirectly by buying the trees, transporting himself, buying machines, buying fuel, paying rents, and feeding.
In another news, after Ndubuisi gets a car for Uber on hire-purchase, after he pays taxes buying fuel, buying tickets, bribing soldiers and policemen on the road, evading accidents, and dodging more portholes than roads...he will still have to pay the extra taxes for bearing the appellation of being a taxi driver. However, those having about fifty cars for entourage alone are called senior citizens.
In saner climes, the rich understand that he pays more taxes because of more assets. In Nigeria, the rich rejoices that the poor augments their assets with their taxes.
Welcome to a country that releases budgets every year but doesn't balance accounts after the financial year. The money given to touts can pay the tax so if the want tax they should abolish agboro
Welcome to the Fraudral Republic of Nigeria. |

Nairaland General › This Current Madness In Town And Our Government Negligence by mormoney85(op): 4:02pm On Mar 19, 2021 |
permit me to use that word madness because that's what it is
Have you noticed that most cars in Nigeria today don't have plate numbers in front, most car owners are now removing Nigeria plate numbers and replacing them with companys logo plates, this is a very wrong practice because most cars looks alike the only thing differentiate them from one another is numbers, this company logo plates are used for newly produced cars from production line to dealers show room you can't drive around with it in the companies origin countries but hear in Nigeria we see it as a normal thing, the worst part is that our government is not doing anything about it. |
