How can humans know which one is authentic and which ones have been played with by man? Allah promised to let us know on the day of judgement, when each will be compared with its portion from the Preserved "Mother of the books". Finally, since the Qur'aan is the final revelation, it has to be Universal, so that no group of people can say that they are not covered under it. This is different from the tribal or limited group revelations of the previous books; Suhuf of Ibrahim, etc, the Torah of Moses, the Sabur of Daud and the Injil of Isa bin Mariam. I don't know how similarities in speech inflection of your mama and you explains diversity of language. From what I can intepret on that statement is that inflections are hereditay, language is not. If your mum has a lisp it is concievable that you can inherit that trait, however we do not inherit language that way.

If your proof of stories of ascentions and communing with dead people and angels is evidence that Fusat was the first spoken language. Thats not concrete enough. I can conject a similar story.

Whether you choose to acknowledge historical factors or not has no bearing on the reality that they determine outcomes and have done so in this case.

The idea that interjecting relevant historical events to such discussions is somehow a determinant that our brains lack the ability to comprehend complex modern day issues and are somehow "Stuck on past issues" is a farce.

My problem is with using membership of these specific countries mentioned above as a comparison point to other significantly different countries such as Ghana, Nigeria, Togo, Tanzania, Rwanda or the Congo when is it obvious their "historical backgrounds" in terms of developmental timelines are different.

A good comparison would be Equatoral guinea to Nigeira, Congo to Angola or Tanzania to Zambia.

You might as well start comparing Kenya to the  USA or Russia to find out which is the most developed country in the world if we are going to think like that.

Not exactly sure what you mean @Morpheus. @Mpele, and @Nando ( have no clue who those are) may think shopping malls are all that but that does not take away from the fact that infrastructure-wise, South Africa remains the most developed nation in Africa. I have been there myself and can attest to the fact that the country is not about beautiful homes. We are talking of good roads, water supply, electricity, good schools and services available to the people of that country, both the rich and the poor. Even people who live in shacks have access to clean water.

Don't worry about Mpele, its an ongoing thing btw us. I agree that in terms of infrastructure, SA remains the most developed nation in Africa, however I have concerns about comparisons between SA/Botswana with other sub-saharan African nations in terms of Historical, cultural and colonial interjection.

Historical differencies between SA and Most Sub-saharan countries is a contributing factor that accounts for development in that nation.

The presence of first world natives(i.e technology, Management skills) contributed to the culture of progression and therefore contributed to the development of SA in terms of management of resources and maintenance of infrastructure.

Mind you, these are not excuses for the in-ability of any other subsaharan nations to prosper however are clear observations as to the factors that have contributed to the Development of SA in general if comparing timelines.

Therefore to compare SA to most West, Central and East African countries is an error in my opinion. It can be used as a bench mark but never as a comparison.
