OYINBOGOJU: How come Pastor Adeboye and Oyedepo don't see this type of vision? You are such an i.d.i.ot! It seems you are suffering from Pastor Adeboye and Bishop Oyedepo phobia. Must you involve them in everything? If they had predicted this, a yahoo-yahoo bastard like you would have come here to insult them. God punish you!!! |
This is an exercise in futility as Cameroonians are going to deal with them ruthlessly! They alongside other Niger-Deltas had the opportunity to join force with Biafra but were deceived in supporting "one Nigeria" project. If they had allowed Biafra access to other countries through their waterways and border, it would have been a different story today. Since Bakassians are just waking up from slumber, I say: Good morning Bakassi! Good morning Niger-Delta!! Good Morning Nigeria!!! |
Wait until you see them at the next Olympics representing Great Britain, France or another European country. |

I suppose this Llama must have watched the second half, unlike Prophet TB. Lol! As a Chelsea supporter, I pray Llama's prediction comes to pass. |
It is really interesting to know that Chelsea FC of England has 16 players plus one Coach (Technical Director) who have African root under their payroll. While some of the players are already playing in CFC firstteam, others are in the Reserve, Academy or on loan. Check this out: Didier Drogba (Cote d’ivoire), Michael Essien (Ghana), Salomon Kalou (Cote d’ivoire), John Obi Mikel (Nigeria), Romelu Lukaku (Congo DR), Nathaniel Chalobah (Sierra Leone), Danny Pappoe (Ghana), Aziz Dean Conteh (Sierra Leone), Islam Feruz (Somalia), Nortei Nortey (Ghana), Samuel Bangura (Sierra Leone), Adam Nditi (Tanzania), Amin Affane (Morocco), Ismail Seremba (Uganda), Bobby Devyne (Kenya), Kenneth Omeruo (Nigeria). What does that tell us? CFC na we own! These players are either playing or eligible to play for these African countries in future. Not forgetting the fact that our own Michael Emenalo is CFC Technical Director. |
desertboom:Gov Rochas Okorocha is such a noise maker. I can't count how many promises he has made since he came to power; yet how many has he fulfilled. God save him from those 'Nkwobi and Isiewu advisers' of his that are gradually leading his government to perdition. |

At such programmes, all classes of people in the society are usually present. iHustle:Your heart is bleeding for who? Hope not for well over 500,000 professionals that are attending the programme amongst who are bankers, engineers, doctors, lecturers, teachers, artisans, administrators, etc? Rather weep for your precious soul that is perishing! Well, I was like you before so I understand your sorry state. Ttola:Sorry, he has done nothing really. Tell him to try harder. The constitution still permits FREEDOM OF WORSHIP provided it does not infringe on other people's right. It doesn't matter what anybody says, I am a Christian and proud to be associated with soul-lifting and inspirational programs as this. REDEMPTION CAMP here I come tonight!!! |
There is someone here who has proven himself overtime as a true son of Ndigbo. He is vast in Igbo adage, tradition, customs and every other thing pertaining to Igbo people. He who the cap fits, let him wear it! I hereby nominate ONLYTRUTH as EZEIGBO NAIRALAND. |
GAWD!!! I am shocked that many people know little or nothing about high life music. According to wikipedia: Highlife is a musical genre that originated in Ghana in the 1900s and spread to Sierra Leone, Nigeria and other West African countries by 1920. It is very popular in Liberia and all of English-speaking West Africa, although little has been produced in other countries due to economic challenges brought on by war and instability. Highlife is characterized by jazzy horns and multiple guitars which lead the band. Those nominating Flavour Nabania, J Martins, Wizboy etc should ask themselves, ARE THESE GUYS REALLY HIGHLIFE MUSICIANS? The answer is quite simple - NO! Most of them are remix specialists who can neither play any musical instrument (excluding microphone) nor perform live on stage. My best ten highlife musicians in Nigeria are as below, in no particular order: (1) Jim Rex Lawson (2) Celestine Ukwu (3) Osita Osadebe (4) Oriental Brothers Int'l Band (led by Dan Sach and Kabaka) Many people erroneously attribute their songs to Dr. Sir Warrior who was just the band lead vocalist (he didn't compose any of those hits) (5) Peacocks Int'l Band (most popular song: Eddie Kwansah) (6) Sir Victor Olaiya (7) Sir Victor Uwaifo ( Orlando Owoh - Baba Keneri (I love his songs so much!)(9) Oliver De Coque (10) Dan Orji (Skylarks Int'l Band and founder of Peacocks Int'l Band) Someone should compare above Highlife Superstars with the likes of FLAVOUR, JMARTINS etc. |
Who cares?! jason2010:No! No!! No!!! We, the South Easteners cannot give them our support, because they don't deserve it. They were used to executive war against Ndigbo. The innocent blood of our defenseless women and children they massacred are still crying for justice, all in the name of ONE NIGERIA. Even now, they still don't speak well of us. |
Toonice:Why my wife go dey kneel down greet me now when e no be MASTER/SERVANT or Please get it: this is year 2011, and NOT 1900! sexkillz:E be like say Patrick Obahiagbon - Igodo Miggodo of the National Assembly don finally join Nairaland! ![]() |
Its not just Christians. You know say, devil punishment na sharp sharp (instantaneous judgement). ![]() |
Like someone rightly pointed out, neither Tinubu nor Fashola nor Lagos State Govt has moral right to condemn FG over poor state of our roads as virtually over 90% of roads in their own domain are in very bad shape. There are dead traps called roads all over Lagos whereby human lives are lost, vehicles are damaged, valuable times are wasted on them daily. Yes, Federal roads are bad but are roads in Lagos better? No! Tinubu, Fashola, GEJ and their cohorts should continue to mess around, one thing is certain, REVOLUTION IS LOOMING!!! It's is just a matter of time. |
TV Ad -- Indomie: Mama Too Good, she too good. My favourite really is a Radio Ad -- Nigerite Roofing Sheet: Bolaji and Mutiu (it's sooo hilarious!!) ![]() |
Osaze's comments are really unprofessional! One would have expected him to speak less after he and his mates successfully broke our heart on Saturday. BTW, fighting against the press won't do his career any good. |
"Has his prophecies been coming to pass? Let's see if he is a true man of God." @poster. Predicting an event correctly is never a benchmark for knowing whether someone is of God or not (I am talking as a Christian). My Grandfather was a renowned Afa (Igbo)/Ifa (Yoruba) priest. He could foretell anything before it happened. Would you qualify him as a "true man of God"? Probably if he had been using Jesus Christ in his trade, many would have believed he was a Prophet of the Most High God. Abeg leave matter, I have been there before. The fact remains that there is a REALM OF THE SPIRIT whereby "classified" information (both good and evil) are obtained. These information can be accessed through different medium. If one comes through God by Christ, one can. If one chooses to go through other Mediums, it is very possible. Whereas gaining access to THE REALM OF THE SPIRIT through some other medium may only require little things as sacrifice, incantation, etc, access through Christ demands high level of consecration, righteous living, divine walk with God etc. No wonder, many people rather choose the short cut. That is why there are "prophets" everywhere! You wonder, when did they encounter Jesus Christ; who mentored them in the ministry, etc. Suffix to say that most of these so called prophets are not of God. They operate with the spirit of divination just like the young maidservant who followed Apostles Paul and Silas in Acts of the Apostles 16:16. |
Judging by the current political developments in the country, one expects EFCC and Madam Farida Waziri to get it right this time around. You would recall EFCC did not get the cooperation of some state governors and top government officials, whose godfathers had issues with the Commission. EFCC blamed its failure on inadequate evidence on ground to nail our 'thiefing' public servants |
HEY, MR. RUMOUR MONGER! This your rumour don expire since now. Dbanj, Don Jazzy deny cocaine arrest rumour: Musician, Dapo Oyebanjo aka Dbanj, and producer, Michael Collins aka Don Jazy, have denied rumours that they were arrested by the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation on Saturday with about 100 kilogrammes of cocaine at the JFK International Airport, New York. Both men denied the rumours on their Twitter handles on Monday, saying they were in Lagos. A message on BlackBerry Messenger had said they being detained in New York pending further investigations and court hearing. It also said it was ablow to the collaboration between both Nigerians and American music stars, Kanye West and Jay-Z. “This comes as a big blow to for G.O.O.D Music, who just recently signed the multi-talented duo. Attempts to reach Mr. Carter (Jay-Z) CEO G.O.O.D Music or Kanye West proved abortive as at the time of filing this report,” the BBM reads. But responding to a question from a follower, Dbanj said, “It‘s a stupid rumour. Myself and Jazzy are in Lagos and all is well. Those carrying the rumour Baba won ma run down.” On his own verified Twiter handle, Don Jazzy wrote, “Dem catch us with Alomo abi? Hiss. If Dbanj was caught with drugs in Yankee (America), that one mean say for a trip from Ghana to Lagos, U need to transit in NY (New York) abi? osheee lol.” http://www.punchng.com/Articl.aspx?theartic=Art2011092618554089 |

They should be investigated thoroughly. If found to be true then they should be prosecuted. We must not allow them to infuse into our society. They might become willing tools for Boko Haram. |
~Bluetooth:End of discussion!!! |
Why is Vincent Enyeama not in the team? Injury, loss of form (which is most unlikely), logistic reason or what? Someone should explain to Nigerians, we are listening. Or could it be a reprisal move by Sia 1 and/or NFF due to his recent outburst? But the guy has tendered an apology publicly. Enyeama remains our most consistent and outstanding goalie; better than (Babyface) Aiyenugba and (Biggie) Ejide. Well let them do whatever they like, but victory over Guinea and Ghana is non negotiable. |
pipino31:Seems to me like an abandoned project, as DSTV only talks about DRIFTA nowadays, which is a better alternative to this other one anyway. Drifta cost about N15,000. I equally bought the phone for the same purpose; so that I could use it when I am outdoor. What you can do? Use the phone; sell it off (though may not see anyone who would buy it at its original price) and probably use it money to buy Drifta; give it out as gift (blessed is the hand that giveth , '); etc. |
Of course yes, people are migrating to Nigeria from well over 15 countries of the world viz: Niger, Tchad, Mali, Mauritania, Bukina Faso, Sudan, Mauritius, Guinea, Cameron, Benin Republic, Togo, Ghana, etc. ![]() |
