My husband and I have not had the best relationship. The past two years has been really tough for us, we've had to struggle to make this marriage work. Although we have two kids, My husband talks down on me all the time.

He calls me an ordinary female, a useless creation and believes he owns me. He believes women should not have a freewill and are properties to their husbands. He calls himself my Alpha and omega. I sometimes wish he would hit Me rather than say all sorts to me.
Last week he started as usual. He called me names and Went on to talk about how he would teach me a lesson someday. I really don't know what came over me. I slapped him.

I s.wear it wasn't intentional, I didn't mean to hit him. I thought he would hit me back but he did not. It's been a whole week and he acts like nothing happened. He goes about playing with the kids , he greets me and makes sure we have food to eat too , but it is so unlike him.


My husband always reports to my parents. He tells them everything I do wrong and they always end up calling a meeting. But this time he's silent , he doesn't want sex too which Is so unlike him. I don't know what to do , I feel like he's planning to hurt me really big. I want to call my parents but everyone would blame me. How do I tell the world I slapped my husband?

He is playing with your mind. He knows guilty conscience will surely be disturbing you. Two things involved..Do like you are not disturbed, he will raise the issue one day and then you apologize. Or go on your knees, cry and beg him the way you can..It depends on you the way you can. If he loves you, he will forgive. But I think he's still playing with ur mind cos he knows your mind will not be at rest for what you did. My opinion though

I understand sir but try create respect for your self sir and it shouldn't be in a violent way. Nobody can see what is going on in your home. You guys know what is going on so to give an advice in marriage situations takes wisdom so tht the person advising won't turn enemy when the issue has been resolved. I would like to share my current situation on this platform , and I will very much appreciate your mature advice on the issue.

I have been having issues with my wife after our first born, we married about 3 years ago, our first born is now about 2 years old, we have been having series of issues In the marriage, my wife argues with me a lot on flimsy issues at times, we do not have constant sex, although I started helping more in the house,I cook and and I do the laundry , and asked her to give me my share of the work, when she complained about work load,I am the only one really working now, and paying 98 percent of the bills.

I told my wife that I will like us to be eating together on the same plate to improve closeness, she refused, she sees arguement as normal discussion, sometimes we have sex once or twice in a month, I have told her I will like us all to attend the same church and pray together, but she still attends her Nigerian church online , where they are always seeing vision , and I do not like her attending that church.she also attends online services of my church with me, but I would like us to be attending one church even if it is not my church.
I asked her recently that we need to be praying together for our marriage even if it is 10 minutes every day, after weeks of no response from her,I approached her yesterday and scolded her about it, she cried and I comforted her, I later asked her at night to come for the prayer,and she said she is not coming.
We live abroad and my mum wants to pay us a visit,
She told me the kitchen is her's and my mum should not enter the kitchen, and I told her that it will be difficult, we can pre cook all our food, But she might need to make tea and I will like her to be able to do that by her self , but my wife refused.
In her church she is attending they already branded. My mother a witch. Even if my mother is a witch, we only need to pray against it, should we humiliate her when she visits us? I cannot make my wife my mother, she does not show me much love and does not show that she cares, neither does she respect me. My mum shows me love that I can feel.

Now we are living like neighbours in the same house.
Do you think she is interested in the marriage or has another plan?

My opinion, it depends. You are saying your own side of the story and she may have her own side too and you may the one at fault. A one sided story!! Also there are soo many things happening inside homes that can solved inside homes. Evrything is abt respect. She may also have issues against you tht you are � guilty of. About not interested in the marriage..If she is not interested will she marry you? .. Men nowadays like "hole". She might have been convinced in soo many ways but decided it's YOU. Tell her family what's happening.. Speak out! I have seen marriage of a week dissolve. You can prostrate for her if possible inside home and nobody will know. Nobody is in the light of things happening inside your home..you guys are. Gain your respect without violence and talk to her family if the issue persist. My opinion again though..

Ladies should know how to cook but may not be able to cook every food. My wife cannot cook a certain food cos she's not used to eating it in their home town and I wouldn't blame her. So I had to switch to her comfortability of another food. And I believe if a wife doesn't know how to cook, they can talk things out. It all depends on how you guys operate in your home. Families cannot be compared with each other. What I cannot take ,you can take. For example my wife cannot fry stew to my satisfaction and I had to take the work from her. Understanding!! Except u no won marry. You cannot see a perfect woman. My opinion though.

The truth is if your brother's wife does not have interest in her ex again, she knows what to do. If u tell ur brother to tell his wife to block him and the wife is still interested in him, they might find a way to reconnect back and your brother won't know.
