Sorry I don't think there is anyway to know the person who did it, but like I said the person is or was around you because it the only way to do it is by scanning your phone on the Whatsapp QR code so the person has to have your phone for sometime to do it. Just change your phone password and remove fingerprint lock so the person cant unlock your phone with your fingerprint when you sleep.
