I wonder what ladies of these days do that make them stay unmarried for so long, or I guess you were once "marriage is not for everyone" crew?

When my mom was 39 years, I was 19 years by then.

I just hope God will help you carry your cross ooo
If she is not ready for a child, she should have wore a female condom is the guy refused to wear. She was expecting to eat the cucumber and forgot that freedom after an unprotected sex is not guaranteed

Wetin happen bros. I have actually examined and studied how the female child is trained. As soon as she begins to develop breast, she is taught to learn the skills to manipulate the so many smart guys that will be coming towards her. The guys themselves, takes fun from catching them young since they know the advanced ladies knows what they know too. So the whole circle is corrupt, thus, we must find a new way to do it, not deceiving our own selves.

You kopt55 do not deserve the honour of getting an answer from me over your demeaning questions.

When sane people on here ask questions they would surely be given answers.

Take your bitterness and mischief out of here.
Well you should try to understand it from his own point of view. The society have changed virtually everything we know. From the cunning nature of women to the technicalities of men, the world have evolved and things are now seen through different reference frame. Those who once share same view realized they were deceived only to be preyed upon.

I don't share same view with you but that does not mean they aren't such people around. But when you see them, they may not attract you much, so first, what is the highest thing you can offer a man. If you hinge it on sex, then such can be bought with N500 - N2000 and someone like me sees such a person valueless. I can go into a no sex relationship but you must believe that it can happen at anytime, failure to do so is a complete no from me.

What of the op. If at age 39, and a lady, she still think she isn't ready for pregnancy, then she is of all women most foolish. And her father could have prevented her even through withdrawal method.

Both of them are foolish, and instead of OP to take advantage and have a baby she can call her own, she is looking for someone that will advise her to abort the baby. Large nippled ladies are senseless. Seems op is like that

The world is fast changing, and you want her to remain low at the echelon of life. You heard her say she can wash plates outside, while that is good, the problem is that she will just be negligible in the food chain.

you could have encouraged her to keep doing what she is doing. Her base will soon expand and 40k will just be nothing

Good afternoon everyone here. I have been an ardent of this forum so, I felt it wouldn't be bad to bare my heart here as I know I'd surely get an advice that will make me see clearer. Please bear with me as I am not very perfect when it comes to expressing my self in writing. Pls pardon my write-up should you see it as too long. I just want to bare it all so one can know what to tell me. Thanks.
My Name is Amanda. I lost my parents when I was sixteen . I am from a family of five. I was about to sit for WAEC before the sudden demise of my parents. I had to drop out of school cus I couldn't pay bills and my older siblings were still struggling, so I got a job. I worked as a cleaner say for 2 years and I was able to save up something and enrolled for WAEC AND GCE and I passed. I tried my first admission it didn't so the second year someone told me to try a Polytechnic and fortunately I got admitted. I joined school but I kept working and I saved up some bucks and at the end of my ND at federal poly Auchi my G. P was 3.40 yes! I cried for joy.
I. T (Industrial Training) started and I felt it would make more sense If I could start something little within my environment. Since I knew a lot about female bags and wears I held on to the idea and started. My customer base grew as I went from department to department showing and convincing the "big girls" in school about my goods. I approached just anybody so long you female. I kept moving at that pace until I was heavily sought after. My room became my boutique.
Why I am confused now
All glory to God I have been able to establish a good relationship with people who sale to me on credit which allows me own varieties and sell more.
1. Not to exaggerate, I make a minimum of 40 to 45k a month as my own.
2. I ain't rich but I think I am comfortable for a young lady of my age. I will be 24 3rd October.
I focused more on my business and I didn't join my mates for the HND session. My reason was; after school now, I go carry certificate they Waka up and down. Make I kuku use this small money wey I don save use am run my business first as I thought school can wait. could I be wrong?

# I have a course mate who traveled overseas after our ND and she has been encouraging me to come over since I could afford the travel expenses (not to lie, I was considering this also which made me forget going back for my HND.)
Now my question is if you were me would you go back to school? I am of the opinion that schooling in Nigeria without a good back up could leave me frustrated after graduation. No job.
# if you were me would you just continue with your business and open up a shop or would you travel out, get a job and go to school there?
Pls advice Me as I would be turning 24 in no time and I am JUST CONFUSED embarassed I have the feeling that any decision I make at this point would either make or destroy me permanently. Pls help a sister embarassed
Should I go back to school? cus my dad always wanted me to get an education but I feel I should be able to know what works as times have changed.
Pls I am open to any form of advice. God bless.

The Catalans want a referendum and reject Madrid's laws. And riot police attempting to prevent any vote will only make the situation worse. I suspect this will seriously damage any trust the rest of Spain might have had for Rajoy the spanish prime minister.

FamilyRe: Are You Burnt Out With No Where To Turn To Or Just Simply Depressed? by mrphysics(m): 10:29am On Sep 29, 2017
Evaberry:
I've been really depressed this past few weeks, I don't sleep at night, I barely eat, I'm withdrawn from people and conversations. all I can do is escape my thoughts and what I'm feeling.

The nightmares are back, after tasting a slice of happiness Im Now this sad and miserable, like I'm only permitted to be happy for a short while and after that everything comes crashing down. the suicidal feelings are back I find myself most evenings walking down to where the bridge is and just starring at the water while imagining myself struggling for breath as I drown. There's absolutely no one to talk to because either it will be taken as a joke,or I will be told I have no real problems and so no basis to get depressed, even if I call I will be made to feel like I'm disturbing him/her and I'm not the only who has problems

Everything is becoming a blur, I no longer care about anything or anyone. All I think about is dying.
You don't need to kill yourself. Life is very simple, conditions just got it complicated, I have chosen to forget about those stupid conditions and take like as simple as God made it to be. I live above worries, whether money comes or not, I have chosen to be happy and I remain positive. TO achieve this, I took away hatred in my life, I determined to be very sincere in dealing with people, I don't owe people, I don't keep emotional relationship, and I help people to be happy.

Most times, when I walk over a fly over, I imagine myself jumping over and crashing my head on those hard roads or cars running over me. Well, physics can help us with the answer to that. But I say to myself, do i deserve such a painful death? Thus far I have come in this life, I am more than that. I am bigger than that. So when I get home, I look at everything in my room, I look at what I have achieved, I think of people that always call me always to ask questions on how to make it on fiverr, I look at those facebook messages I have not responded to, I look at how beautiful God have created this world. I then look at those babies, who saw the nothingness of life and choose to smile always. When you lift them up, they smile, when you keep them down, they begin to cry; they just want to be up and smile. So I choose to be up.

You are smart, educated, mature, why keep talk to people who don't want to listen. Speak to yourself, educate yourself, see thus far you have come, look at those dreams of yours, and ask yourself if it worth it to quit. To me, it doesn't worth it. If there is anyone that will succeed, then it is me, it is you. We are the ones that deserve to live. Yes, we are the ones that deserve to live, and we will live. Don't give up, be happy

You must be totally screwed up if you think you are making any sense here. Even the south Africans under apartheid never compare themselves to slaves.
How will there understand. Everyday, while I was in Kano, I see Igbos everywhere. I visited Kaduna, I saw Igbos everywhere, I came to Abuja, Igbos everywhere, I went to Lagos, Igbos everywhere. Igbos are hardworking people, who believes their own state will come one day. By going through the process of hatred to other regions simply because you want to make a point known to me isn't making sense. The reason that most south east leaders just watched how it unfolded and even had to fight against it.

This is what I have been saying many of those guys are in Lagos. Especially Joe igbokwe. And mrphysics and several monikers here.
I don't know why you have to mention me. Where I am today, I did because I struggled to get there, I don't wait for a government to spoon feed me or anything. If Igbos are marginalized, why didn't you hold your senators responsible, your governors, you are with your enemies but the first line of attack is the federal government. Bro, I write on fiverr, I have a work, I earn my salary not from any Nigerian government.

Secondly, I hate politics, and I hate how politicians are going about it. Everyone except you believes Kanu went about it the wrong way.

You forgot how you insulted me the last time I thought you were reasonable enough to engage on a discussion? You forgot the stupid things that got you banned you did? If this is the kind of Biafra IPOB is leading us to, then I won't pray for it to come. Since I can't be in the minority that will have a different opinion and still lives in peace.

I think its good to mind your business and forget about politics. Everyday i come to nairaland, I am in the business section not romance section. I would appreciate not being mentioned again. I respect your opinion, kindly respect mine

You are a good writer. You can make at least $500 monthly freelancing at home.

Read through the pages I pasted for more info. All you need is there. You don't need to pay a dime to anyone.
This is the best advice you have offered in this thread. Every other advice is trash and mouth action.
I was once very active on nairaland, opening thread and writing things that made front page but never gave me money. I never visited the business section, and I missed a lot. last year December, I visited the business section and it was all glory.

From what I got there, I have earned 150k - 240k a month from fiverr. Aside my salary that is above 100k, while sitting down in the office, my fiverr gig gives me money. Everyone in the office knows I earn much from fiverr, adding to my salary, I earn more than most persons there. The experience was worth it. All I needed to secure the job was samples of fiverr works and my analytical thinking skills.

When you conduct a due diligence study of most persons here shouting no job especially on ladies, you see them being most active in the romance section. Some of them shouting no work yet they can write, give them book to write, they feel you have killed them.

My fiverr client on Sunday told me that I don't know how hard it is to make $25 in US, I had to screenshot it to show those thinking that Nigeria is a grave. $25 is just N7k.

Let me just stop here. Thank you for showing him the way. only few will take it.

The other day, I referred someone to business section and he called me in the office that someone gave him a work about N40k work. I think he's been busy with that work.

He needs wisdom here. Going behind his direct manager to talk to the MD on an issue his boss is meant to spearhead may backfire.
Depending on the organization. Like I said, issues regarding to payment or promotion are not done by the manager. He may suggest and his suggestion will be giving upper hand. I work under a manager and I can't talk to him on issues about payment. Infact he won't even talk about that. If I have such problem, I will go to the HR office and discuss. I think this is the official thing to do

From working experience, i am pretty sure even ur MD supports that Manager's action. Its a new trend and some of my friends have complained of such to me.

The fact is they love what u doing buh they dnt want to upgrade ur package, and i am very sure they dnt want u to leave, so the oga patapata(MD) acknowledges ur effort but immediate oga(manager) comes up with stupid excuses.

My Advise
Have a chat with the MD but be very wise and careful so it doesnt seem like u are reporting the Manager.
In some organization, the HR department is know as People, Culture, and warfare. They are the ones he should be talking to. If it is an organization that he has access to the MD, he should go straight to him and lay his complain without even talking about the manager or any other experience he had regarding his complain

Please nairaland help, i was employed last April to monitor sales and payments on line, but the job has expanded to where i also do monthly presentation. i was given employment later stating that after three months i will be confirmed and also get other benefits. this is close to six months now , each time i remind my manager he will be telling me that i have not convinced him enough and the MD knows i am really doing my job because that is where the money is coming from. but the manager makes it look as if my jobs is not important.

The manager keeps giving me task that i find difficult to do and use it as excuse. some of the task is to analyze data through excell, i tried but dont knw all. please advise me through jokkarm@gmail.com

i am really not happy with everything.

i will appreciate a professional advice
Do you have access to the MD? If you do, it will be nice that you meet with him and discuss that. Six months should be good to raise your pay or promotion. Second option is talking to the HR, hopefully, they will look at the offer letter and do something about your request. Your manager is just the person you work under, the HR is the people that talk about your warfare.

On fiverr where most buyers are foreign based, if you sell as a Nigerian in creative writing or other professional niche, then you must forget about selling much. So what most Nigerians do is sell with a US location.

Where, they are freelancers and ghost writers, yet most of those gigs with US location but a backend Nigeria location sells much with great reviews. Whats my point

We already have bad image, but that does not mean that we can't compete with the world
