I had a friend that visited me in Abuja. It's been long I heard from him after early secondary school. So one night he called by 11pm that he was stranded and that he need a place to stay till the next day. I obliged to help and the guy spent 2 weeks.
What got me angry was that he started bringing a lady into my room. Not an outside lady oo, but someone squatting with another in the compound. The worst was that I had another friend staying with me before he came.

One day, I told the two to go. I was already prepared for work so I wouldn't want some delays. This guys refused to leave. lol. I didn't bother myself, I just told them that I will be going to work the next day with my key. So as Early as 5am,i woke both of them up. They couldn't believe it. I locked my room and left them outside with their properties.


Life is too short to be tolerating nonsense. Truth is, whether you like it or not, you will still tell them to leave. So why not start it early.

Consider the fact that anything you do outside Nigeria won't last long. Trust me, they are young artisans in Nigeria that have more than 10m in their account yet tell you that things are very difficult here. They probably made that 10m in less than 3 years.

Since you want to do your masters, you have to remember that for the time you will be doing your masters in Germany, there will be no incoming funds yet, you will be depleting the 10m sending money home. What you need is to establish a constant source of income at home while you move to germany.

The fastest way to do this is uber/taxify. Even your wife at home can manage the business. Since you are in UK, buy a good car, ship it to lagos, get an agent to clear it. In a week, you must have registered the vehicle, put security and the rest, then get an uber driver (you must be careful here because same people that complain the country is difficult are most dishonest) and your business is live. You will be sure of 30k weekly and 120k monthly. With this, your wife will be managing while you continue your masters.


On a personal recommendation, I will advise you come home and hustle like others. You have the capital, so if you have the brain, you can get something working.

It takes a man a lot to become a man. He has seen life in it's raw form. The understanding that life is harsh and not romantic makes a man mean most often.

Buying books will be a waste of time, funds and energy. I even have unread books on my phone, ranging from temperaments evaluation, learning and identifying your love languages, unlocking one's potentials and whatever you may think of. I have a handful of them but he's not the type to read.

The issue is not even reading books, it's more about applying its content.
