effulgence: I think its wise to take the vaccines here for it's cheaper compared to the US where it's expensive.Whether it'll be cheap or not depends on where her school is located. A Nigerian at my school told me to come take the vaccines at the health center there for $5 (that's how much MMP costs) its way higher here than then, as you can see ![]() |
flynbird: I don't have a photocopy my passport. I have just my National ID card. Would they accept it?They should, dear |
imperiouxx: Wetin I sabi?Lol I like you. You own up, sharp sharp! ![]() |
Flynbrd.... Babes, did you make a copy of your passport? If so, please take it there. That was what I used for mine (that was exactly what they asked for) As for getting to the DHL office. Get a bus to Oshodi..and alight anywhere at Oshodi. Get another bus going to mile 2 and tell the conductor you're going to Toyota Bustop. Immediately they drop you, the DHL office is directly beside you (to your left). Just cross the service lane and walk 50metres or so to their gate. ![]() |
imperiouxx: My flynbird don start again oooo.Bros ooh. They've stopped using Billings Way o. Now its Oshodi or Lekki. They've even removed Billings from their site. I had to log in, change the address and reprint my confirmation page as the first one read Billings Way. |
flynbird: Ok I'll be patient. Thank youFlynbird dearie , its not a must you receive a text message. I received an email just like yours the day after my interview and I picked up my passport the day after that. Up till date, I haven't gotten any sms (I filled a valid mobile number btw). So, if you got a mail indicating that your passport is ready, then indeed it ready. Go pick it up |
ferdimako: Not Available still.Bros, I don't wanna sound like an alarmist. But please give ETS a call on monday. Ask them what the delay's about |
iamchux: Please house, who has ever used the services of WES for evluation of transcripts? I received an email from them on the 27th of June that the photocopies of my transcript has been sent back to my school for further verification. Its exactly 4weeks and 2days now, my WES status still reads "Waiting for verification from institution". Please is this how long it takes for verification and evaluation?Go to your school and ask around. The verification should be done at the Registrar's Office (as in my case). WES sent the verification notice to my school via email, they printed it out, did all necessary verification and it was ready in 2 days. But they didn't write the official letter (they just kept it in a file with the rest)until I went there to check and disturb them about it. They wrote the letter and I sent it in the second day. Hope that helps ![]() |
I don't think this is the case. As I used them to register too and saw my scores they are professional and very well known. I think you should be persistent they should let you know why your scores are witheld it could be a system error or something. You can even contact some1 in mack iv to help u
Lol. Okay Tho your reply should be directed to him, not me. Me thinks he should contact college board (phone calls preferrably) and demand to know what happened to his scores. |
vivysparkles: Lmao!!!Abi o. I taya oo ![]() |
eedrism: I registered for the exam myself at macki consult @ agege they didn't scamm me because it was the same plc I registered for my toefl and I sw my result,so A̶̲̥̅♍ sure someothing is wrong with the sat anyway, when I called them they. Were just saying they will work on it bla bla bla sinc may4th...I jst tayaa for d tin.The fact that you saw your test scores for Toefl doesn't mean its the same for SAT. I'm suspecting those people used dubious credit card to register for you and the thing bounced. Collegeboard does not have the right to withold your scores. They should have asked you to take the test again, or even refund you |

eedrism: The result haven't come up yet bro, that is why I though of printing my sat Exam ticket as a proof that I took the exam,so if the VO ask did you take the SAT exam I will say YES and If he ask for my result I will explain to him and show him the ticket as a proof and also I will go with the letter my skool gave me that I was exempted from taking the SAT and I will also go along with my TOEFL result..what do you think bro?what did your profile read when you tried checking for your result? and have you tried calling the sat people? ferdimako: See another project.LOL. Which project? |
flynbird: Ok.Congrats dearie! I didn't know people pay those MoPol money to hold their phones o, they kept my two phones and I even went back there to drop my bag.....one shishi wasn't collected from me. All the same, CONGRATULATIONSSS!!!! |

bigfrancis21: You're indeed a smart person. I like smart people. People who know the right thing to do at the right time. Keep it up. It will take you places. As a sharp geh na But in all honesty, I was thinking...if I don't stand up now, 10:30 applicants will meet me here and still leave me o ![]() Thanks for the compliments bro ![]() |
GboyegaD: It wasn't used in Lagos then. It was only in Abuja that it works because it isn't automated yet I presume.Ooh True! Fidelia clarified that ![]() |
ferdimako: What about that our skill-going to force a pee at the ladies and gents? I think we need that tactic back.I don't think thet tactic works in Lagos anymore . Everything is now automated, your number just pops up automatically. If you don't answer, they will keep using Public Address to call you ![]() |
Bimmey: yes I was also in lagos n d annoying tin was that I saw d lady at counter one issuing at 90percent n d guys denying everybdy n d number forced me to dis wrong guy dat didn't justify d reason for denying me. It just like a day light robbery of my money n chance. So ur no did not show up n u walkd to d lady n nobody said anytin n ystday my own passport n doc was not wit me cos dey collected it from us at one counter, how did u do ur own pls kindly explainOkay, this is how it happened. We were in a straight file before entering the interview hall. And as we entered, there was another line for the initial checking of docs. Those doing that are Nigerians, I presume. Okay, so immediately I entered and joined that line, the security guy asked me to bring the slip I had with me (which contained number 120) and gave me one, which is 119. I dunno where he got it oo. He then gave my 120 to the girl behind me, collected her own 121, and gave it to the person behind her, collected that one's 122 and gave him 121 and so on. The line moved quite fast and 119 showed on a guy's screen. There, the guy asked for my documents, perused it and gave me back the rest, except for my I-20 and my DS-160. He told me to go and sit down and that I'll soon be called for biometrics. After a while, my number showed on counter 7, which is where they do biometrics and the lady already had my passports and docs with her. She did the biometrics, returned my documents to me and told me to take a seat, that I'll soon be called for the interview. Lo and behold, I sat there for like one hour and my number didn't come up. Those that we came in together had loong gone. When I couldn't take it anymore, I approached a security guy and told him, he said I should go and sit down that they'll call me, but I was adamant cos they had loooonnng passed my number. He said OK then, once you see any of the VOs that are free, just go to him/her. As luck will have it, I sat down in the row in front of the white lady and immediately she finished somebody's interview I went to her. She was like "Did I call you?" I said no, and I held up my number and said "see, they skipped me" She said "oooohhh, we're so sorry, but you can see I already called someone, kindly wait till I finish with her and you can come" She was even the one that called me when she finished. She was like " will ticket number 119 please come forward?" The rest is history oo. My story is long, I know. Sorry ![]() |
Chars1289: @Ms Nas]great!! ![]() Bimmey: House, pls I need clarification on this, I read an interview here last week when d lady said dey passed her no n she later walked up to d lady she saw issuing visa at higher rate n she got it n tonite again another guy said he quickly jump to d counter of d lady issuing, ystday at embassy I also saw a lady issuing but pples no were popping up n dats where u will go even wen I saw dat d guys.my Q s dat can I sit back n not go if my no pops up at a wrong counter n wat will happen cos I saw my passport wit document infront of d guy already, am very sure if I was interviewed by a lady I would av gotten it cos they r just lively n ask enuf Q b4 decidingI'm the lady who they skipped her number! . I dunno how they do it in Abuja oo, but in Lagos..they have this electronic display (like the ones you see at fast foods). So when your number comes up and you don't come forward, they will use PA system to announce.I'm pretty sure mine was skipped tho, cos my eyes were just roving through all the displays. The thing went from 118 straight to 120 in front of my eyes korokoro. Na then I begin fear! .Even sef, the ticket wasn't the original one I picked. I initially printed 120, but immediately I got on the queue for biometrics, the security guy had the 119 with him (dunno where he got it), he gave that to me, collected my 120 and gave my 120 to the person after me after collecting her 121 and so on like that. Let's just say that happened just so I could get my visa, cos my original 120 was denied. 121 too |
Ms Nas u are such a nice person. I thank you for the encouragement, nite prayers, fasting and the mock interview. Good things shall never cease in your life. Ose oremi.
Amen! Amen!! Amen!!! But....what are friends for? *In Jenifa's Voice* ![]() |
Walspring: Can someone pls tell me direction from the spot below how i can get to the US embassy ;From CMS, get one of those small white buses that go to VI and tell the conductor or driver that you're going to drop at the bridge after officers mess. Around that side where they take speedboats going to Takwa bay. Cross to the other side, and you'll see a red gate. They might not allow you in if you don't have a car sha. But you'll see people around. They'll tell you how to get in on foot |
Chars1289: Good news..My big Bro got his visa approved today at the Abuja Embassy. Here is a transcript of the interview sent in by him..Well, Well. Your bro went to Lautech! Great.
