Use tissue paper then wash your bom bom with soap and water when bathing. Most people that use water only hardly use soap thereafter, thus leaving their hands with particles and faecal greasy matter. They use same hands to shake , work, serve food and touch objects thereafter. That way they spread germs such as typhoid fever causing microbes. As much as possible limit touch faeces without washing with soap and water. Washing with water only, dispensing bacteria on the hand if one is carrying one gut resident infection. May explain why there is so much cases of typhoid fever which has refused to abate. The best practice is use toilet roll then wash with water and soap soon after. 1 Like |

Are we not over hyping these achievements? Public works and infrastructural development are part of what is least expected of anyone in charge of our collective purse. They aren't doing the people a favor, rather they should take up urban renewal in order to transform our towns and cities to what is obtained abroad. It is not rocket science to achieve that. So stop eulogizing public servants for doing just the basic things that don't measure to what is constructed abroad in this 21st century. 1 Like |

What are we even saying, public servants? Nigerians, no one will change your country for you. When you are ready effect the change through legitimate/ lawful means. You supposedly voted these ones into power. Whose interests are they pursuing now ? Wise up otherwise little or nothing will change. Only the wise will read the hand writing on the wall or heed to the warnings now when there is still time. Time shall come when the unbelieving would seek for salvation, but alas it's too late. The preparation is being set for anti Christ's reign. However, rapture will take place before it comes to force. Money, influence, connection, willpower etc will all fail those remaining/ left behind. This is what happens when people that lack basic character and integrity find themselves in power. They misappropriate funds and use the instruments of governance to abuse power. In a sane clime , after office, he would find himself in jail, but alas, he is in the upper chambers making laws. A law breaker making laws? I don't think you need to built 19 campuses across the entire LGA's. Rather, have 2 or 3 campuses and use the fund to make them world class. Such that anyone can come from across the state to access the facilities. |

Why don't we have beautiful streets that look like the ones posted above? Answer: Several reasons probably- ; would citizens stop throwing garbage, empty water/drink plastic bottles, pure water nylons, house -hold garbage, faeces wrapped in black nylon bags(esp Lagos), on the streets? Would street traders stop selling on the streets- both static and itinerant hawkers. Would dirt evacuated from drains not be poured onto the road instead of taken to dump sites? Would landlords and tenants cease to cut roads to pass water or electric cable wires after road construction and commissioning? Would tippers not convey sand dripping with water uncovered on roads unchecked as seen on our roads? Would the depraved people in power not inflate x10 the cost of road construction and hence do inferior work with their contractors. Would politicians award road jobs to seasoned contractors instead of their cronies who would use wheel barrow, shovel etc as we saw in one State in the South East. Would the public servants charged with supervision of the jobs, do it without collecting kick backs to allow infractions? Where do we start? There are many reasons why our roads cannot be like that. |
