Islam › Re: Islamic Female Names And Their Meanings by mu2sa2: 11:40am On Apr 02, 2021
yahyus:
The pronounced the names based on their accent.
Correct. In yoruba I understand the accent generally falls on the last syllable of a word. So many yoruba tend to place the accent on the last syllable of a word even when speaking other languages. For instance "MUS- ta -fa" (accent on first syllable) is pronounced by yoruba as "mus- ta- FA"; MO-ther as mo-THER; AH-mad as Ah-MAD etc.

Was it not Nigeria that recognised his talent and put him in the National Under 17, Under 20, and now Super Eagles?

Did any of those English clubs know he was until NIGERIA raised him up?

Not everything is an opportunity to bash your country. That is a sick mentality.
Exactly!

Romance › Re: Filipino Lady Explain Why Nigerian Men Are The Most Sort After By Foreign Women. by mu2sa2: 10:16pm On Mar 28, 2021
Freestainworld:
Most of what she said is true, I remember when I was working in a hotel abroad, there was this white lady from Netherlands that was a manager in one of the departments in the hotel, she was earning cool cash, because of her position, I noticed that many of this white folks where afraid of her not to talk of wooing here, she was very tall and pretty, then I was new in the company, so one day we where all in the kitchen when she came around, the way I talked to her boldly like I don't give a Bleep about her position shocked her, she started monitoring me without me knowing it, as time went by, I developed interest for the babe, told her one cool day that she looks cool with her killer curves, infact that if I die because of her that I must make heaven since an angel killed me, she was shocked to the marrow, she laughed and laughed, that was how me and the babe started, before you know it, I started traveling through her exhaust pipe on steady basis, funny enough I was one of the lowest earners in the company, so our people got the vibes.
Maybe you should develop this yarn into a novel.

If you can't lie or confuse your listeners with double-speak, you're still a learner as a pastor. Fake produces fakes: Fake religion, fake clergy.
Politics › Re: How To Resolve The Hijab Controversy By Farooq A. Kperogi by mu2sa2: 7:58pm On Mar 27, 2021
Meanwhile, 1Corinthians11:6 says:
"If a woman does not cover her head, she should have her hair cut off; and if it is disgraceful for a woman to have her hair cut off or her head shaved, she should cover her head."
This is bible on what muslims call hijab. Even Virgin Mary is never depicted by christians without wearing headscarf (or hijab, as muslims call it).
Some folks are ignoramuses in religion that's why they engage in useless controversies like hijab-wearing in so-called mission schools, schools that are 100% govt-funded in kwara. This reminds me of one such mumu who thought he was mocking muslims by referring to them as headslammers, when even Jesus is recorded in Matthew 26:39 like this -
"Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed". "Fell with his face to the ground" - that's what muslims do in their salat. Hallelujah, Allahu Akbar, God is Great!

That's good innovation. But wait, no job for furcanizers again be that if it gets finally adopted because many people including drivers will prefer it so far is not too expensive
It will definitely be expensive. But as time goes on the master-fakers will come up with "new, improved" versions of it that you can afford to buy - only that it won't last a lifetime, not even near it.

I see confusion, I see innocent people being arrested, I see people avoiding using POS due to fear of being branded a criminal, I see long and frustrating queues on various ATM stands, I see people resorting to using "Kolo" and other traditional means so save and withdraw their money. This I have seen.

Even with the scary faces?
You're doing well..
And you sit in the discomfort of your room to complain on their behalf, abi! Well done. One packet of sachet water for you so that you can complain more.

owobokiri:
This whole waterway traveling is sooo messy and dangerous considering all that can happen that it shouldn't be tried again. This is what happens when you don't have a tough captain. If it was when Stephen Keshi was the captain of super eagles or even Sunday Oliseh, this won't happen. Not a single jet to fly these guys to Cotonou in less than an hour? What if there was a pirate attack or mishap? Imagine the public relations nightmare that would have been for this seemingly shameless country? And how is it that an institution as big as the FA of a country like Nigeria is always complaining of funds, inspite of all the business opportunities available for the marketing department? This is what happens when you have rectangular pegs in horizontal holes..
It's all fun, bros. What if they chartered a plane and it crashed into the sea (remember Zambia plane tragedy that wiped out the entire national team). Our players did not complain - I wonder why it's bothering you.
Phones › Re: Why You Should Avoid Keeping Your Mobile Phone Near You While Sleeping At Night by mu2sa2: 12:12pm On Mar 26, 2021
sunnedee2:
Not advisable.
Emergency situations (security, health etc) may arise in the night that require your attention.
I don't think one should go to bed every day expecting emergencies to arise. I would prefer to have a sound night rest than be awoken now and then unnecessarily by phone notifications.

We know what has happened can happen because it did happen.
