What probe? They will only say that the poor guards on duty on a particular date are the only culprits. When PDP starts to throw money around come 2015 u know where the billions came from. God save naija for us. |
Saraki family again! Ha, only the father is dead, but the chief coordinator of the plundering of depositors money in the defunct SGbN was Bukola Saraki. And the sarakis still hav a stake in the new bank after the unprecedented looting of its predecessor. Wonders shall never end in this country. Well, if u hav money u want to throw away, go and put it in their heritagebank. |
We all know that in nigeria any light-skin person is "oyibo". I had neighours who called their daughter oyibo because she is light in complexion. This guy is called "white nigerian" because of his light skin. Shikena. His participation in the NYSC programme is news because he is the first ever non-black person to do the national service. He may be nigerian by naturalization - I dont know. Kudos to him for he could hav easily refused to do NYSC for one reason or other but came back from London to go to that stinking orientation camp. How many children of privileged nigerians will go for NYSc if they could dodge it? |
Christian university. Under "man of God". |
Nashville: In a opinion he should not. Nigerians have rejected him three times already and I do not think they will accept him a fourth time. As someone said earlier, he already has a bad image especially in the South and he has done little to change it. People just see him as an Islamist and I cant see the justification.Given the massive rigging that characterized all the three "elections" it is wrong to say anybody lost in those charade. |
Every killing, every robbery, every banditry, every act of lawlessness is now conveniently linked to boko haram! And followed by Islam bashing on nairaland. Soon kidnappings, ritual killings and murders which are every day occurrences in the south would be conveniently blamed on bh. |
How can the army top brass advice negotiated end to the crisis when they hav cool one trillion naira to play with and none of them will die in the conflict? |
chiover: So so on point malam, i tink 30 ministers can serve usEven 15 or less will do.How many ministers had we in the 1970s (then called federal commissioners)? |
this can happen even in nigera now that a man and woman can meet and decide betweem themseves to marry. Whatever they know about themselves is got from what the tell each other. But in african tradition marriage involves two families and so this type of shenanigan can not happen. These days a young man and woman will meet at a wild party, start saying they are madly in love and in no time take themselve to the marriage registry. The institution of marriage is indispensable for the survival of society and should not be trivialised as we are seeing these days. |
all d netwotks hav problems, but a wise decision would be to move to d one that offers fixed rate for calls to all networks even with daily subscription if it is not more than five naira. There is no sentimental attahment-afterall u dont hav shares in any of them. |
I am just wondering that no one has blamed their religion for the conduct of the prophetesses, but if it were bh that did it, ah, this thread would stretch pages on islam bashing by hypocrites. |
sadeiyare: Have you gone there before that place is far from what anyone will call a fortress ; all they interested in is bail money they collect from innocent people they arrest from football viewing centres, just naming onePolice killed mohammed yusuf extra-judicially; police detain people extra-judicially and demand money for bail. Govt does nothing about the lawlessness of d police. Now groups are springing up to extra-judicially challenge the police. All these groups are out to avenge what they considered unlawful killing or detention of their loved ones by police (& jtf). Rather than hurling insults on nairaland which go to no issue, we should be talking of how to reform and civilize nigeria police force and other security forces. |
See how people are glamourising fornication and adultery. |
Dont take him serious - just publicity stunt. |
teniyi: Its not everything that should be linked to the separation of the country, the Berom in the Plateau has murdered sleep and therefore shall sleep no more.It is true that berom started the killing of fulanis. Initially d killings were one-sided but d govt did nothing to stop it. fulanis later armed themselves and turned d tide. It is a terrible situation - with drunken beroms cannibalising fulani victims, sacking of villages by fulanis. D berom are christians though given to heavy drinking of burukutu; d fulanis are muslim - so d war looks like religious in nature, but it is in reality ethnic fight over land. These killings must stop for plateau to progress. |
Send your complaint to their twitter page @MTN 180. You will get a faster correspondence to your query, good luck.
dont waste ur time - they never accept responsibility, even when they are at fault. If mtn is ripping u off, change to better network. |
u can marry for whatever reason, the important thing is how u manage ur marriage. Seems this guy is trying to explain away the crash of his marriage. |
mercylicious: Its not new. Churches set up hotels, I've lodged in one at Enugu-owned by Daughters of divine love at Emene. There, ppl don't lodge together except they are married. Infact, a guy cannot receive a female visitor in his room and vice versa. There is also a male wing and female wing.if it is not set up for profit then either it is a house for church guests or its subsidized. Do they allow two males in a room or two females in one room? These people can be homosexuals, u know. |
AKN may turn out to be south east equivalent of boko haram. AKN looks like a joke now, boko haram started and continued for eight years as a peaceful organisation till 2009 when they took up arms. Let us see how serious govt is about security in the way it handles this new set of terrorists. |
[quyote author=monkeyleg]Serious considerations must be given to dividing this country. That is the only way peace will reign and this senseless violence would stop
yea, nigeria should split into 774 countries (current no. of LGAs ) and there will no more armed & pen robbers, no kidnappings, no corruption - all politicians will become saint-like, no bh, no spiritual killings, no 419, in fact all d countries will be paradise on earth and envy of the d rest of the world !!! |
Fredrick909: u are mistaken, bro. How many people in nigeria, including the educated know the english name of this simple local fruit? This thread is more educative than u think -bfo now did u know the hausa, yoruba, ibibio name for the african star apple? Maybe u never even heard of african star apple bfor in your life and this is a fruit u see every where !!! |
honeric01: SCAM.unless if the number you are asked to call is 180, infact you cant call 180, rather they'll call you. secondly, you didn't use a sim for 6 months, yet you think you won from mtn wonder promo? when did the promo start and how long did it run for? was it up to 6 months?u didnt help him out on how to start a thread on nairaland.pls do if u can and get 100% |
Phemour: Agwaluma in HausaCorrect. It is not a local fruit in the north, d name sounds like borrowed from yoruba (agbaluma - yoruba "agba" pronounced "agwa" by the hausas, because apparently there is no "gba" sound in hausa language). |
the governor was not arbitrary as some people might think. the Public Service Rules, which applies to both civil servants and political office holders, provides for a dress code but it is rarely enforced. The commissioners were required to dress properly to the occassion, being an official event. As heads of their establishmnts they were supposed to lead by example, not dress like motor park touts. Their act amounts to misconduct under the PSR and the punishment meted out is one of the sanctions provided. It is not only women that should dress decently, men too. |
if gej had declared his asset publicly that would hav shown him as a person who is serious about leading the fight against corruption. Why should anyone trust a leader who is concealing his wealth to tackle corruption. If gej acquired his asset legitimately he would not hav given a damn to disclosing the asset for all to see and indeed assess. Dishonest leadership is the bane of nigeria. |
salafiyy: THOSE WHO HAVE SPOKEN ILL ABOUT ISLAM SHOULD SEEK FOR REPENTANCE NOW!!! BEFORE EVIL BEFALL THEMit was obvious that the story was false but some misguided people still poured out insults on the basis of the report. If they hav honour they should apologize for their action. |
anitank: MY VIEW: if u live in the western part of the country or other regions with mixed tribes where English language is constantly spoken, then there is a need for you to teach ur kids their native language because they will definitely learn how to speak english when they grow.U are mistaken. It's been confirmed by experts that a child has the capacity to learn five languages simultaneously without mixing them up.this ability is however lost after the age of five.So there is no reason to deny your kids the ability to be multi-lingual- speak your local language as well as English and any other language with them. |
Let's see what "the representatives of the people" will do to this daylight robbery. In any case we all now know more about GEJ than at any time before - this is coming from ASo Rock itself so he cannot claim innocence. |
I am uplifted by the advice that hav been posted. I am also encouraged by all that has been said to believe that there is hope for nigeria - not a single person support d brothers ill-advice of going into crime on the excuse of desperation. Let the brother heed wise counsel,Please. |
