I told you guys since; the best way to deal with ignorants like davidylan and co is by ignoring them. Yet you shoulder the burden of responding to their blabbings. Why? Isn't it a waste of time? They stand not to ALWAYS open their minds and understand or rather believe the incontestable fact. Leave the frigging fools go astray. Allah won't ask you why you don't preach them.

Its said in Hadith; there are three stanges of correcting wrong-doing, i.e by stopping it with your hand, secondly by your words/mouth and thirdly and inactively by regarding the doing and the doer sadly. Simply do the last is not the least, is it?

Thank you very much my fellow good muslims for your good and open-minded understanding.

Nigeria: 'Why U.S. Deported 65 Nigerians'
16 March 2009

Lagos — The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Lagos State Command, on Sunday confirmed that it had received the 65 Nigerians deported from the US last week.

The Comptroller of the command, Mr Ayo Oredipe, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos that the deportees, consisting of 59 males and six females, started arriving from March 12.

He said that they were deported for 19 offences, ranging from rape, fraud, robbery and overstaying to sexual misdemeanour.

Oredipe said the offences also included the blaring of car horns, playing of loud music in their cars and over-speeding.

"Many of them are ignorant of what constitutes an offence because those things are taken for granted in Nigeria," he said.

The comptroller said that the deportees would soon be handed over to the police for prosecution.

NAN reports that more than 30 Nigerians were in February deported from the Republic of Ireland.

Meanwhile, the NIS has prosecuted four persons for allegedly providing false information to obtain the Nigerian e-passport.

The Passport Control Officer in the command, Mr Chris Gaduya, who disclosed this to NAN on Sunday, said that the four culprits were arrested between January and Marchthis year.

He said that a nine-year-old boy, who had earlier been issued with a passport in Lagos, re-applied for another passport in Kano through his parents with falsified information.

"The applicants will change their names, ages, and location as well as changing their signatures.

"But the computerised system of issuing passports will make the issue of multiple passports impossible as the thumbprint will detect it," Gaduya said.

He said that most applicants wanted to obtain multiple passports so that they could obtain multiple visas to several countries.

Assalamu alaikum,

Below is a picture of an unfortunate boy, who was alledgedly called Dajjal (Anti-Christ). The picture is presently circulating, forwarded among friends, relatives, etc via emails and other means.

Although I'm fully convinced that the boy is not the actual Dajjal prophesized to come to earth at the end of this world. Yet I think or rather fear others might be misled to believe he is. Therefore, I bring forth the picture. And I know members, learned on this issue, won't hesitate to bring up what our scriptures report on the coming of the real Dajjal.

Thanks for your responses.

He, after that, following calls from people that he should join politics, kept on reiterating that politics is a murky water, thus he would not join. But he now shamelessly comes back begging it to favour him. LOL grin He'll never get any good reception there. He should better go and rest.

Pentagon hacker faces 70 years in US jail
Laura Powell – Daily Mail March 1, 2009

Gary McKinnon, the UFO-obsessed computer geek who hacked into the Pentagon networks, has received a massive setback in his fight against extradition to America.

Mr McKinnon, an unemployed 42-year-old with Asperger’s syndrome, faces up to 70 years in an American prison as a terrorist under a controversial extradition treaty.

He had hoped to avoid extradition to the US by being tried in the UK – but was dealt a huge blow last week when the Crown Prosecution Service announced it would not bring charges against him.

The move opens the way for him to be extradited instead, under the 2003 Extradition Act.

Glasgow-born McKinnon was accused of breaking into Pentagon computers and raiding 98 networks used by the US army, navy and Nasa between February 2001 and March 2002.

He has always maintained he hacked in to find evidence of UFOs. He also told police that the US systems had been accessed by other hackers, many of Chinese origin.

Now, his last hope appears to rest with a judicial review of Home Secretary Jacqui Smith’s decision that, despite his Asperger’s syndrome, there is no medical objection to his extradition for trial.

His supporters include pop star Sting and wife Trudie Styler, who have written to Jacqui Smith backing his case.

Sting told The Mail on Sunday: ‘It’s a travesty of human rights that Gary McKinnon finds himself in this dreadful situation.

‘The US response in relation to the true nature of Gary’s crime is disproportionate in the extreme. Gary is even contemplating suicide because of his fear of incarceration as a terrorist in a US jail.

‘The British Government is prepared to hand over this vulnerable man without reviewing the evidence.’

Sting pointed out that Mr McKinnon faces extradition under an Extradition Act signed by Britain but not Washington – which means Britain does not have reciprocal rights.

Prof Simon Baron-Cohen, director of the Autism Research Centre at Cambridge University, also backs Mr McKinnon. He said: ‘He should be tried in the UK and not treated as a terrorist but as a man with a social disability.’

McKinnon – who is also being supported by London Mayor Boris Johnson – is living in his home in Wood Green, North London, until the final decision is made.
His mother Janis Sharp, said: ‘I’m heartbroken at the lack of compassion shown towards my son.

‘Somebody, somewhere please wake up and realise the extradition of even one vulnerable person cannot be a price worth paying to save the US’s embarrassment.’

MrCrackles, yeah, the news was good. But the second one I talked about is mindboggling, isn't it? But am sure so its to both US and we Muslims, for none is gonna win.
Foreign AffairsRe: Us To Withdraw All Troops From Iraq By 2011: Obama by muhsin(op): 1:24pm On Feb 28, 2009
Good thought, Obama.

But why, I repeat why, are you so thoughtlessly preparing taking more troops to Afghanistan, where is named a dangerous ground by many European nations and as thus, the silently decline to take their soldiers there? That would certainly be a grave mistake you are about to commit.

Similarly, some weeks ago, I heard on the radio--BBC in precise, during a 20th anniversary of Russian-Afghan deadly war, Russian gov't warning the US and its allies that they are not gonna win in Afghanistan. Especially since they (Russia) lost. Its been "Russia" then with all the Red Armies, mighty war fare, tactics, etc notwithstanding. Hence, they fear and warn that Afghan soil is just gonna a grave yard for US Marines.

In spite of all these warnings (or even altimatum), Obama is yet headstrong going on with his plan.

Lets us see.
Foreign AffairsUs To Withdraw All Troops From Iraq By 2011: Obama by muhsin(op): 1:22pm On Feb 28, 2009
Washington (PTI): President Barack Obama has announced that US will withdraw all forces from Iraq by 2011 with its combat mission coming to an end by August 31, 2010. The much expected announcement was made by Obama at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina yesterday and with this he has fulfilled one of his major promises he made to the people of the United States during his election campaign.

Obama told the cheering crowd, "Let me say this as plainly as I can, by August 31, 2010, our combat mission in Iraq will end.

He said that he has chosen a timeline to remove all the combat brigades over the next 18 months, however, the US mission in Iraq would still continue. "After we remove our combat brigades, our mission will change from combat to supporting the Iraqi government and its Security Forces as they take the absolute lead in securing their country," Obama said.

"We will retain a transitional force to carry out three distinct functions: training, equipping and advising Iraqi Security Forces as long as they remain non-sectarian, conducting targeted counter-terrorism missions and protecting our ongoing civilian and military efforts within Iraq," he said.

He added, initially, this force will likely be made up of 35-50,000 US troops.

olabowale:
Nigerians in Nigeria, need not portray Islam as a tribal or regional religion. neither the Makkan nor the Madinan can even do that, since Muhammad (AS) is the Messenger and prophet for all mankind.

There are enclaves in the pure Igboland, where Islam is not a stranger. Enugu has masjid, even way back when, because my friend is married to an Enugu woman. He had said that he went to masjid in that city for prayers. I guess one need to know where to go, especially when you are new. Then the Nigerian Muslims need to make plenty Dawah, all over the places; north, south, east, west, central, etc.

We still must make dawah on ourselves, because we do things that are not Islamic, more often than not.
Well said, Olabowale.
