Let me join MrCrackles in saying; good for you.
IslamRe: Lagos State Government Cautioned Mosque In The State by muhsin(m): 5:34pm On Jun 05, 2009
A fortune, future or mind teller? I don't know which name would suitably describe your action, David.

On serious note; why should I care? But be very sincere you yourself; who disturbs people most between Muslim mosques and Christian churches? The latter, of course, with all your hymns, doxologies, canticle and the likes, which are accompanied with either heavy claps and/or musics. Be fair and just. It costs nothing to be so.

But we Muslims do mostly only call for prayers, i.e. ahdan. Though some mosques render other "services" like recitation of the Holy Qur'an, studying hadith and the likes. All these don't require the use of microphone and ample fires.

Moreover, Lagos is a Muslims majority state.

What brought that up, any way? huh

No body will kill you, Mr. David. Go see. grin

Prophet S.A.W said, " The most hated person in the sight of Allah is the most quarrelsome person." Narrated by Aisha (RAh).

Barka da Jumu'a.
IslamRe: Big Time Debate: The True Followers Of Jesus Are The Muslim by muhsin(m): 4:25pm On Jun 05, 2009
Just be there. You certainly will learn a lot; or maybe understand the truth about who Jesus really is and hence, lipsrsealed
I wish I could attend.

davidylan:
but it would have been "well thought of" and "sensible" if he had simply restricted it to churches right?
Did I say this?
IslamRe: Lagos State Government Cautioned Mosque In The State by muhsin(m): 12:47pm On Jun 05, 2009
If it includes Ahdan then the thing is not well thought of. Its rather a senseless act, for Ahdan doesn't normally last for more than 3 mins. maximum.
IslamRe: On Implementation Of Shariah In Lagos by muhsin(m): 11:48am On Jun 03, 2009
Well, I really doubt if that could actually be actualized. I live in Kano, and I'm aware of the difficulties of implemting a true Shari'a state in a Nigerian state.

I respect christians choice to be a christian and wish to be respected at our choice of been muslims. Lets live in peace and harmony amidst our differences.
This could only be done when benighted and deluded Christians on this board would think rationally.
IslamRe: Divorce And The Northerners:what Is Missing ? by muhsin(m): 11:16am On Jun 03, 2009
olabowale:
@Muhsin: Te post that started this thread specified Islamic procedure of divorce. He forgot that not all Norherners are Muslims. Should we expand this to cover the northerners, without regard to Islam? If this is yes, then please tell us about the animist and the christian Northerners divorces. I am not a northerner.

Am not a historian, either. I only speak about Islam, and northern Muslims do not have their own Islam. No one have an Islam that is different from what is in Quran, or hadith and sunnah different from that of Muhammad (AS). When Islam is maligned or misinterpreted, it is the duty of all muslims to come to defend it.

I have chosen the best path, since we are all trying to learn about the truth.
Thanks very much for the explanation. May Allah bless.
IslamRe: Divorce And The Northerners:what Is Missing ? by muhsin(m): 12:51pm On Jun 02, 2009
Although very educative and erudite, and informative. But you good poeple have deviated from the actual thread's topic. It says Divorce and the Northerners, right? Thanks.
PoliticsRe: Muslims That Carry Their Religion Ontop Of Their Head by muhsin(m): 12:49pm On Jun 01, 2009
The thread had me laughing tonelessly. What the hell its author any way is expecting from other members? To respond, put wedge to this misleading thought. Not everyone is as bloody stupid as you, gurl. Back off with your ratty words and shut up. shocked

IslamRe: Ogun: Bloody Path To Imamship by muhsin(m): 9:51am On Jun 01, 2009
@Tudor,

You should have to be a bit more rational, fair and broad-minded. Although I know the crisis cannot be unconnected with the Imamship, yet it shouldn't, aptly enough, be attached to the religion of Islam.

For instance, you certainly will frown if I or any other Muslim relate the gayism of your American Archbishops to your Christianity, won't you? And moreover, it's been portrayed in Nollywood films the uncanny and cony habits of some of your Pastors and so on. Is it right to simply, obtusely, say thats the conventional behavior of these?

C'mon, and think reflectively, fellow.
IslamRe: Is Anything Wrong With *Up Barca*? by muhsin(m): 2:00pm On May 27, 2009
Well said, Lagosboy.

To tell the truth; not everybody who claims himself being a die heart fan can do as such, i.e. not letting it be blocking his way of practising religion accordingly. I wish I could merge the two just like that---no, am afraid and thus can't. grin
IslamRe: Why Is This Part Of Naira Land Scanty? by muhsin(m): 1:49pm On May 27, 2009
@Tudor,

Well, I don't know what you mean by the saying "injecting life, ". But I'll like to, any way, say you aren't doing so in whatever sense. The section would have been much better without you people who are entangled by dogmatism of worshipping three 'gods'.

I pray may the Almighty Allah open your heart and understand what Islam is, just like how he did to people whom I know were more closed-minded, virulent and head-strong than you. grin
IslamRe: Why Is This Part Of Naira Land Scanty? by muhsin(m): 9:45pm On May 26, 2009
@Tudor

You had me wondering when you thoughtlessly referred to this section as 'useless'. Why then do you bother to come (and even frequent) the place? That absolutely sound contradictory and childish. You and other bunkum xtians should, had the forum been that useless, simply leave us to rest our hair down. And discuss our Islamic affairs peacefully and smoothly. Did you hear? eh?
IslamRe: Is Anything Wrong With *Up Barca*? by muhsin(m): 12:17pm On May 25, 2009
Assalamu alaikum,

Am not really trying to denounce what some of you say are doing, i.e supporting football clubs, but I'm not a fan of any club be it local or international. Yet I wholeheartedly support Nigerian Super Eagles (And I know loving one's country is Islamically acceptable and justifiable). The reason why I won't support anyone of these clubs is; people doing so usually fall neck-deep. And this, I fear, has no place in our religion. This is typically what our brother (author of the thread) is within the ace of doing. I hope he'll understand the danger of this and soon desist. Thanks.
IslamRe: Egbon Olabowale, Please Don't Leave Us Here! by muhsin(m): 11:54am On May 25, 2009
Your witticism, Babs, is fascinating. LOL grin

I do hope our elder brother Olabowale is doing just fine up there. I pray; may the Almighty Allah ease the tasks before him and return to us safely, ameen.

PoliticsRe: War In Niger Delta: Mend Threatens Northerners In Oil Industry by muhsin(m): 11:20am On May 21, 2009
I'm ambivalent on that happening. The government harsh response is rather called for and warranted. Yet the Niger Deltans deserve pity. Therefore, I remain "neutral".
